The Tiberius J. Swann Education Facility

Who: Cassie and Jason with some Harlow and some NPC healer dude.
What: Explaining what happened in her nightmare.

All the time that the healer was looking at her arm and asking her what happened all Cassie could think about was how the hell she was meant to tell Jason what happened. Harlow was right, she needed to tell him herself, and he needed to know she was in the infirmary, but this was not going to be pretty. It wasn’t exactly pretty in the first place, but telling him seemed almost as bad, if not worse. Cassie knew he’d be upset, and that he wouldn’t take it well. He’d already tried to avoid her to keep her safe and it happened anyway. What if he broke up with her? Left her completely in some stupid attempt to look after her? What if he went after Wolf on his own? ( What if, what if, what if... )

Who: Cassie and Wolf, turning into Cassie and Harlow
What: The demon gets a surprise visitor in her dreams.
Where: The library and Cassie’s mind.
When: Monday evening.

Cassie was.... wait for it... in the library. Not only was she there but she was trying to study. Not a lot had been going in during her classes recently, probably due to all the worry and lack of sleep going around. The dreamcatchers had been helping ease anxieties a little, but they couldn’t keep everything away it seemed and Jason was still wary about being around her, which, even though she knew why, made things harder somehow, and so she had other things to think about than her classes, or even causing chaos. So, study time was needed.

( Really, considering the need to stay awake and all the other precautions people had in place at the moment, she should have been studying with someone else, or at least around someone else... )

Who: Cassie and Candi (and a sleeping Jason)
What: Meeting the boyfriend's mom
Where: Jason's room
When: Sunday afternoon

When Cassie got the text to go to Jason's room she sighed. She had been warning him he needed to sleep, and trying to come up with solutions, but he was determined to protect the both of them himself, and she really had no idea where he had disappeared to this afternoon. The demon really wasn't surprised it had come to this.

Of course she didn't hesitate in heading to his room as the mystery texter told her to, she'd do anything for Jason, except stay away when he wanted to protect her apparently. Knocking on the door gently, Cassie opened it slowly and poked her head in to see who 'us' was, and what the situation was. Seeing her boyfriend asleep, she looked to Candi and smiled softly, coming in. "Hi. Candi right? Thanks for the text."

Who: Jason and Wolfgang
When: Around the witching hour (So super early Monday morning)
Where: Mal's house, the spare bedroom and Jason's own mind
What: The Sire lashes out

Wolf easily climbed into Jason's mind this time, he had a direct line by now. The boy was dreaming about nothing in particular and Wolf immediately changed it to suit himself. Jason was deep inside the caves Wolf called home, surrounded by the other vampires in his den. "Hello, Jason." He said as he had chains slowly wrap around the man's limbs.

Wolfgang, or Wolf as he preferred to be called laid down in his bed and closed his eyes, his mind searching out each and every one of his children. He found Candi rather quickly, her mind always seemed to burn the brightest for him, and after that it was only a small jump to Jason. His beautiful, day walking child, who happened to be asleep. Wolf concentrated on Jason’s mind, slipping inside without much effort, it wasn’t like the boy had defenses he built against him. He picked through his dream until he found the pretty boy. Distastefully he was in dog form but Wolf gang concentrated enough to alter the dream, he had been a dream walker in life, it made him so much more powerful to his children.

What: Running into each other
Where: The gym
When: Friday afternoon

Obviously the chaos demon hadn't learned her lesson about pushing her body over the years, so Cassie finished Cheer and headed for the gym. It would just be a waste to take a break and go for a run later though. She may as well keep pushing herself, but she did at least choose to do it inside where other people might be should something happen.

Walking into the gym, she peeled her hoodie off again, but left the long sleeved top as a layer. The demon already had headphones in and she really wasn't paying attention to who else was in there as she stepped up on one of the treadmills and threw herself back into the exercise. It took her a while to work her way up to the fastest she'd ever been on the treadmill before, and her muscles were protesting, but being as stupid as she was, Cassie turned it up even further, intent on pushing herself even further, until she stumbled and had to step on the sides to recover, breathing incredibly hard.

Who: Cassie and Bio-Dad.
What: Arguing, sort of.
Where: The grounds.
When: Early Saturday evening.

Cassie was working herself hard. Since coming to the school all that time ago she had really let go when it came to keeping her dance up. Sure she still had class every week here, but it wasn’t the same as doing proper classes in a proper studio, working to improve constantly. She needed to step up her game, maybe look into classes at a studio outside of the school, but for now she would just have to push herself and work in the studio more. So that was where the little demon started, but when she finished there she still felt like she hadn’t pushed herself hard enough, so she decided to go for a run to finish. Not as far as she normally went on her runs, but something at least.

Who: Cassie, Jason and Charlie.
What: Making the boyfriend meet part of her TJS family officially.
Where: Charlie's apartment.
When: Tuesday evening.

It was while sitting in her Latin class, thinking about Jason and the things he'd shared, instead of what Nox was prattling on about, that Cassie realised she had never officially introduced her Prince Charming to her Action Hero. He met her family back home when he came for Christmas, and he'd even spoken to Bio-Dad on the phone, he knew her friends here, and she'd told Charlie all about him, they'd met before, but she'd never formally introduced her boyfriend to her substitute big brother.

As the day went on, and they went to their seperate lessons, or went about their day, the chaos demon started to think that maybe she should force them. It would be really good if Charlie and Jason were to get to know each other better, being two of the most important people in her life at the school. She couldn't see why they wouldn't. They had things in common, not least Cassie herself. She should shove them all together. Tonight.

When Jason's last lesson finished Cassie was waiting outside, having skipped her own last class, and she grabbed him the moment he walked out. "You met the parents, and the brothers, but are you ready to meet your girlfriend's action hero?" She said mysteriously, kissing him in greeting.

( I see a man who could never be completely summed up in words. Someone who is not only good looking, but strong in body, mind and spirit, who looks after the people he cares about and the people who need someone to fight for them, who will go on silly pretend pirate missions with his girlfriend just for fun and makes her feel like a million dollars, even when she screws up. He is more than words, and anyone who doesn't want him doesn't know what they are missing. )

Jason glanced out of the window of the apartment, watching the sun set. He could feel the moon ready to rise, behind the clouds. Calling to him, beckoning his change. "Are you sure you don't want me to go to the park? Last chance, Cass." When he'd brought this up before, she had said that it would be find to shift here. He'd warned about his rather...energetic nature and she'd only laughed, telling him that biodad deserved whatever happened. Still, it wouldn't hurt to be sure.

Jason closed his phone then tucked it into his pants pocket, slightly annoyed at the conversation he'd just had. He had no earthly idea what he'd done to make "Biodad" like him but maybe it'd keep him off their backs. Doubtful, but a pleasant thought. Walking into the kitchen, he caught sight of Cassie pulling out a carton of milk and recoiling at the smell. "I was just informed we shouldn't eat anything in there."

( Cassie was hungry. It was a mission which kept her mostly distracted from why her boyfriend had failed to follow her, or even that he was talking to someone on the phone, helped along by the music she was playing in the kitchen as she danced in just Jason's shirt and her panties. Coffee was one of the first things she found luckily, so Cassie had got distracted by that, only reaching the fridge just before Jason entered and spotted her sniffing the milk.  )

Who: Cas and Bas.
What: Chaos finds herself another guy who can cook.
Where: His apartment.
When: Tuesday

Cassie had to go bug this new and apparently hot member of staff on principle, it was part of who she was. Just like the chaos she liked to create around any and all newcomers when she could. Put these things together and something curious had happened. Some photos and some information was uncovered almost by accident, and the chaos demon was intrigued. It certainly appeared to be Bastian, but there were no absolute links, and he had avoided her probing comments, leaving her not completely sure she knew what she thought she did, but hoping she did. Time would tell.

So, five minutes after her last message to him, without express warning she would be right there, one half demon, in dress, jacket and combat boots, knocked on Bastian's door and tried the handle. That counted, right?

What: A surprise for the demon!
Where: Her house in England.
When: Starting around midnight.

Jason had finally gotten off the plane, tired as hell but excited that he was going to surprise Cassie. Of course, given that the tickets were from her biological father it was highly possible his presence was only going to create waves for her. He hoped not. Grabbing his bag, he pulled up the text from Cassie with her address, hailing a cab for a ride. It took some time, but they finally made it through the busy streets to stop in front of a rather lovely home. Well, he was sure it'd be lovely if it weren't pitch dark outside. Midnight and the only lights were the ones from the cab and the streetlamps. Great. Way to look like a creeper. Paying the driver, Jason got out and strode to the front door, ringing the bell and praying someone was still awake. It was bloody cold outside!

What: The chaos demon needs her best friend

When: The middle of the night, technically Thursday morning.

Charlie was gone... Her action hero, the man who looked after her like she was his own little sister, or sometimes even his daughter, who cared enough to punish her when she screwed up, drove her mad sometimes, and loved her despite it all, was gone. Left the school. Left her. Cassie knew it was going to happen eventually, but she didn't realise it would be so soon, or how much it would hurt.

What she really wanted was to curl up with her boyfriend, but he apparently didn't know who she was. Cassie would have thought he was just joking, but after hearing Charlie tell her what happened to Ana and Ava, and the fact she was pretty sure he couldn't stay away this near to the full after recieving that picture message, she was pretty sure he had no clue who she was. Instead, she tried to distract herself, but that couldn't get rid of the unease, so she tried to go to bed.

At about half past midnight she was still lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep on her own tonight, so she decided to get what she wanted. Climbing out of bed, the little demon crept down the hallway in her hoodie and short shorts, finding herself outside I3. Fox's room. It wasn't hard to let herself in, and she walked straight over to his bed, climbing in with him, not saying a word, just snuggling into him.

Who: Charlie and Cassie
When: Wednesday night
Where: her dorm room
What: an action hero has to say goodbye to his sidekick

Charlie left Ana and Ava, feeling like he’d been run over by a semi, TWICE. He hadn’t felt this bad since Val kidnapped Maggie, or since his mom died. This situation was that grave. He had every intention of going straight back to his apartment to pack up his belongings and move out before sunrise, but Charlie couldn’t leave school without saying goodbye to Cassie. Ava’s situation made it impossible for him to say goodbye to her properly, but he hoped the same wasn’t true for Cassie. He needed some closure before leaving this place for good.

Making a detour, Cassius still in tow, but no longer on his leash since he was finally obeying now that Ava was out of sniffing range, Charlie headed for the student dorms. It wasn’t all that late, and he knew Cassie was a night owl. He just hoped the spell hadn’t changed her into a toddler.

Knocking on her door, he waited patiently. Cassius wasn’t as well behaved. He was really acting up tonight, probably because he knew what was coming, or sensed that Charlie was depressed. Charlie still had tears in his eyes, and stains from their tracks on his skin. He looked like shit, honestly.

When: Saturday, during the day

The wedding the evening before had been beautiful, and the hotel room for the night wasn’t so bad an idea either. Cassie and Jason had made good use of the space when they snuck away from the reception, until they finally passed out in bed together. If the whole thing had ended with her waking up next to him, the demon still would have been happy, but surely there was more they could do.

Waking up early, she had tried to entertain herself, checking things on her phone, tidying up the clothes that had been strewn across the room in the heat of the moment the night before, but eventually she was too bored. She had to wake Jason up! Climbing back onto the bed, Cassie straddled the dhampir, wriggling a little to see whether he would wake, or how his asleep self would react, before leaning down to nibble at his neck, kiss his jawline and generally try to wake him up gently.... for now. If he didn’t respond she might have to try more drastic methods.

What: Getting a man's view and 'oops I forgot to tell you I have a boyfriend now'.
Where: His room
When: Tuesday evening.

Being a woman, and Cassie especially, the chaos demon had turned her room into a tornado of clothing, shoes and jewellery trying to pick out an outfit for Blue's surprise for Jason, and still she hadn't made a final decision. This was useless! She was never going to make a decision at this rate, so what was Cassie to do but bug a friend for help, and even better, a male friend to get the male perspective on the outfits. She wanted to make Jason's jaw drop.

Wrapped in her robe, with an armful of clothes and shoes piled ontop as well as hooked over her fingers, Cassie walked over to Fox's door and kicked it to get him to open up. As soon as he opened it she walked straight on in, dumping the stuff on his bed. "I need a man's opinion!" She announced, picking through the things, not even looking at him, or thinking about the view he probably got with her bent over the bed.

What: The Feeding Den- with a surprise!

As they pulled into the parking lot of the feeding den, Blue grew more and more excited. This was going to be SUCH a fun night! And Jason was going to get such a surprise, it would be fantastic! Blue felt great. She was dressed to impress, she had Jason, and she had a plan.

As she and Jason got out of the truck and made their way to the club, she moved in front of him to speak to him. "I have to confess something," she said with a grin, fingers fidgeting. "I have a surprise for you! It's something I think you're gonna totally go wild for!" She couldn't supress the grin, and as they got to the main entrance, there was Cassie, waiting like Blue had told her to. "Ta da!" she exclaimed, boucing on her feet. "I brought your girlfriend to come with us!"

When: Wednesday evening

Once again, Cassie had missed her morning run, and once again, by the time the evening rolled around she was feeling jittery and felt like she needed to do something. Remembering what happened last time she went for a run in the dark though, she decided that maybe it would be good to take someone with her. Even better if that someone happened to be a hot dhampir who might just be interested in a little something else as well...

Picking out her running clothes with care, trying to appear casual, yet wanting to look good, the demon checked her outfit in the mirror and wandered over to Jason's room. As soon as he opened the door she wandered in. "I need some exercise, and you are my chosen bodyguard. Get dressed." She declared, sitting on his bed.

Who: Cassie, Mal and Max
What: Visiting the sponsor and finding the surprise
Where: Mal's apartment
When: Wednesday evening.

Picking up her pillow, Cassie buried her head in the feathers and fabric and let out a muffled scream. This conversation with Jason about dating, not dating, what was going on.... it was just awkward and confusing. She needed a distraction. Luckily for her she had a date to annoy her sponsor instead though so taking her leave from the awkwardness, the demon logged off, grabbed her phone and set off for the staff apartments, texting Fox as she walked.

By the time she arrived at Mal's door she was no clearer about anything, but she was feeling lighter. Unfortunately for Mal this meant there was no way she was going to announce her arrival and give him prior warning, even if he had probably smelt her coming. No, instead she let herself into the apartment, without even thinking about the surprise and the fact Mal had mentioned a 'he' that might escape.
