Saturday, December 6, 2008 [INCOMPLETE] Who: Cassie and Jason What: A date? Where: Around Boston When: Saturday, during the day
The wedding the evening before had been beautiful, and the hotel room for the night wasn’t so bad an idea either. Cassie and Jason had made good use of the space when they snuck away from the reception, until they finally passed out in bed together. If the whole thing had ended with her waking up next to him, the demon still would have been happy, but surely there was more they could do.
Waking up early, she had tried to entertain herself, checking things on her phone, tidying up the clothes that had been strewn across the room in the heat of the moment the night before, but eventually she was too bored. She had to wake Jason up! Climbing back onto the bed, Cassie straddled the dhampir, wriggling a little to see whether he would wake, or how his asleep self would react, before leaning down to nibble at his neck, kiss his jawline and generally try to wake him up gently.... for now. If he didn’t respond she might have to try more drastic methods.
Jason had thoroughly enjoyed himself the night before. The wedding was pretty fun, too. Belle looked a vision in her wedding gown and the happy couple seemed all but oblivious to everyone else in attendance. After he’d managed to convince Cassie to sneak away (which wasn’t too difficult) they’d made good use of the hotel room and crashed early in the morning.
Which was why he was still asleep and couldn’t understand why there was someone sitting on him. Groaning a bit, both from the position and from the sweet kissing, Jason peeked open one eye. “Mmwhy’re you up now?” The words came out a jumbled mess, sleepy and thick. He stretched a bit beneath her, rolling fully to his back. Currently the only thing separating them was the sheet. “Y’know where you’re sitting is gonna have a wake-up call in a minute.” Turning his head, he noticed the sun starting to peek through the curtains. Definitely early.
---
There wasn’t really much more an explanation he needed for why someone was sitting on him, other than that she was Cassie. That was all. It was fun to annoy people, and especially fun to wake Jason up. “It’s morning. Most people get up in the morning.” She shrugged, as if it were still totally normal despite the fact neither of them had slept for long. As he shifted, Cassie shifted with him, liking this position more. “Mmmm I was counting on it.” She purred, her eyes following his to the sunlight, and then back to his face. “You’ll have to wear me out if you want any more rest, because I don’t do well with being bored.”
---
Jason sighed. “Really now?” He didn’t mind wearing her out, but wearing her out generally meant wearing himself out as well. “How about a different idea?” Bringing his arms up, he settled his hands on her waist, tugging her down for a good morning kiss. It was slow and sweet, different from the way they’d ended the night. Rolling them across the bed, he pinned her beneath him and started kissing down her throat. “We’re in Boston. Have all day. Feel like going out?”
---
“And I thought the idea of wearing me out was more appealing, less causing a sigh.” She laughed, obviously not really offended by Jason’s reaction, especially since he occupied her with his lips. Cassie didn’t fight him rolling on top of her at all actually, just murmuring softly and happily. Her eyes were closed, enjoying the feel of his lips on the sensitive skin of her neck when she took in his suggestion. “Going out? With me? Sure you can handle that?” The demon joked, laughing softly.
---
Jason kept nuzzling her neck, feeling rather loving after the event last night. “Hmm, why not? We haven’t had a date in awhile. I’ve got a crazy idea in mind you might like.” He started kissing back up from her shoulder to her cheek. “It’d be fun.” He paused, smiling just above her lips to tease. “We could go to the harbor, have breakfast on the docks and then make like fools the rest of the day.”
---
More people needed to get married if this was the mood it put Jason in. Of course it put her in a fairly romantic and relaxed mood too. Win/win. “We’ve never been on a date, not as such anyway.” Cassie pointed out, her accent thick from the emphasised word and because it was early in the morning. “That sounds perfect.” She said softly, moving her head up to close the distance and press a kiss to his lips briefly. “Sweet, silly, fun.... perfect.”
---
Jason returned the kiss, following her back down so that it wasn’t quite so brief. “Mmhmm. You could let chaos out a bit. We’ll come up with some big adventure that never happened and back it up with pictures. Whatcha think?” Propping himself up on his arms, he smiled, pleased that he’d managed to come up with an idea that didn’t directly involve sex first thing in the morning.
---
A grin spread across her face as Jason amended his original date plan to include chaos. He knew her so well. “Mmm, chaos and adventures as well? Now THAT is perfect.” She decided, kissing him again, happy to forgo the morning sex in favour of something sweeter and more... romantic this morning. “What I think.... is that unfortunately you better let me out so I can go shower.” Cassie reluctantly told him, wriggling.
---
Jason hummed a bit when Cassie moved against him. “Sure you wanna shower alone?” He dipped his head to nip her ear. “It’s more economical to shower together I hear. Saves water.” Ulterior motive? Definitely. And just because they’d probably waste more water together didn’t mean it’d be any less fun. He pressed his hips into hers, demonstrating just how awake he was this morning already.
---
Cassie’s breath caught as he nipped at her and she murmured happily., pressing her hips up to his as well. “I think I heard something about that too, and we only get one world afterall.... we should really do all we can for it....” Yeah, right! They both knew that they’d waste more time and water by showering together, but she wasn’t about to turn down the offer of a wet, naked, dhampir helping her shower. “We should probably get onto that right about now.”
---
“Sounds good.” With a grin, Jason rolled off her, tugging himself free of the sheet and jumping off the bed. The sun shone on his abs through the slates, showing off a well-toned, and fully awake body. “C’mon lazy bones,” he teased, heading to the bathroom and giving Cassie a good view of his bare, tanned ass.
Once in the room, he turned on the water, aiming for hotter rather than cooler. Though he knew they’d be heating it up just find on their own. When Cassie followed him in, he tangled his hands in her hair, pulling her close for a proper ‘good morning’ kiss. Hell, it was a kiss that let her know just what he was dreaming about the night before.
---
“Hey!” She protested with a laugh at being called lazy bones, calling after him. “I’m not the one who had to be woken up so they didn’t waste the day in bed.” She was enjoying this view though, and it was only him disappearing from sight into the bathroom that made Cassie move, if only to follow it.
The demon was well rewarded for moving though and she melted into his kiss, hands resting on Jason’s body. Within a couple of seconds she was responding eagerly, body pressed to his. Somehow, getting clean was not the first thing on her mind in that moment. In fact, even when they were spent, having said good morning properly, intimately, and vigorously, with almost every part of their bodies, she still wasn’t thinking about getting clean, but it had to be done or they would never leave the room. Cassie should have learnt her lesson about showering with Jason by now.
Finally clean, and most definitely happy, she wrapped herself in a towel and headed out to the main room again to get ready. “I’m not sure we saved much water...” She laughed softly, drying her hair with the towel.
---
Jason definitely enjoyed the shower as much as Cassie had and he walked out of the bathroom with a smile on his face, relaxed, clean and happy. Draping the towel around his neck, he walked to his pack, pulling out clean clothes for the day. Boxers, jeans and a Rolling Stones t-shirt went on before he started scrounging around for socks, constantly getting distracted by a half-naked Englishwoman wandering around the room. “You are just too damned sexy, y’know that?”
---
Getting ready was so easy for guys! Their hair would dry in no time, they didn’t have make-up (well not most of them), and they didn’t have to think much about what clothes they pulled on. Ok, so Cassie didn’t really stress over clothes either, but the rest she had to deal with. While he was pulling out his clothes and getting dressed, she was just drying her hair, wandering as far as the cable allowed her to, and sometimes stopping to bend over and flip her hair upside down. The apparently sexy demon was rooting through her bag for underwear when he made his comment and she looked over at him, smiling. “Aaaw... yes. Yes I do know that.” Cassie winked, finally finding the red bra and panties and dropping her towel so she could put them on.
---
Jason groaned, flopping back onto the bed when he saw just what Cassie was going to put on. “You’re going to kill me. I know it. It’ll be blissful though.” Seriously. How was he supposed to walk around Boston now knowing what would be hiding under her clothes? And just what lay beneath that silky material? Taking deep breaths, he waited until he heard her rifling through the bag for the rest of her clothes before sitting up, slipping on the socks and into his sneakers. Since he had nothing else to do, he wandered around the room, picking up their belongings and stuffing them back into the bag.
---
“Mmm I love it when I hear those words. It means I’m doing something right, or so very wrong in all the right ways...” Laughing evilly, Cassie just continued putting the underwear on, and then getting ready. Luckily for Jason she couldn’t be bothered with fussing much with her hair and curlers or straighteners, something she tended to do before getting dressed any further than bra and panties. Instead she threw her hair up in a ponytail, pulled on tights and a sweater dress and moved to the mirror, where she proceeded to put on the basic make-up and a little bit of a grungy touch to her look.
Eventually she was ready though, and as a bonus Jason seemed to have packed the stuff she hadn’t while he was bored and waiting for her. Cassie pulled on a pair of boots, made sure her leather jacket was around and smiled to Jason. “Ok, I’m ready!”
---
Zipping up the pack, Jason glanced around the room once more. “I shouldn’t ask this, but anything you wanted to snitch? The shampoo or something?” He chuckled. It wouldn’t surprise him in the least if she wanted any of the little bottles though he’d put his foot down on the towels. Plush as they were, he didn’t want his credit card charged for them.
Picking up the bags, he moved towards the door, grabbing the room key to check out. “So we can either do the continental breakfast downstairs before we leave or we can go to the docks. And I’d figured we’d go out for lunch somewhere.” Part of him wanted to eat here, just so they could talk about what sort of crazy adventure they wanted to act out. Being attacked by pirates was the first thing that came to his mind.
---
If it hadn’t been his money on the line, and she had really wanted the towels, Cassie would have just put them in her bag before she even woke him up that morning, but she wasn’t going to do that to him. “Oooh! I can’t believe I almost forgot!” She exclaimed, going into the bathroom and coming back with all the little bottles he was thinking of, and stuffing them into their bags. “You can’t go to a hotel without stealing the toiletries, even if you never actually use them when you get them home.” It just wouldn’t be right!
“Hmmm, I say we eat here, get ourselves sorted before we start the date adventure.” She decided as they walked down the hall on their way down to the reception. Cassie herself had no ideas on it yet, but she was sure they could come up with something between them, maybe improvise a little as they went along even. “Besides, I’m not really a breakfast person anyway. As long as I have coffee I’m sorted.”
---
Nodding, Jason led the way to the reception desk, bags tossed over one shoulder. “You wanna go ahead on in and grab us a seat? I’ll just check out and be there.” The room wasn’t really packed just yet, but he had the feeling that people would start showing up soon. Signing the slip the woman gave him, Jason passed over the key cards and gave her a little wave, following Cassie into the room. He always ate breakfast and had a large appetite. Part of it came from being half lycan and the other part came from constantly working out. Going over to the bar, Jason grabbed a plate, filling it with sausage, eggs, biscuits, fruit and a couple doughnuts. He dropped it off at his seat before heading back for a large glass of juice and a cup of coffee with cream. “Yum.” Sitting himself down, he glanced at Cassie, smiling, then tucking into his meal. “So, anything specific in mind?”
---
“Sure.” The demon shrugged at Jason’s suggestion, thinking it was as good a plan as any, and disappearing into the dining room. By the time he followed her in she was already sat down with some fruit and a cup of coffee with cream and lots of sugar, because that was just what the world needed, a chaos demon hyped up on an infusion of caffeine and sugar. Poor poor Jason. Cassie did laugh at how much he had picked out for breakfast, but figured it made sense for a lycan to need to eat a lot, so she just sat back in her seat, one leg tucked up to her chest and coffee in hand, watching him eat. “Chaos. What do you think?” She asked with a raised eyebrow, laughing. “Adventures always start out as something everyday, right? So maybe we get someone to take photos of us being normal at the harbour first, then slide into our story.... when we find a story....” Cassie’s nose wrinkled slightly as she seemed to be thinking. “What about you? Any specific ideas? You’re the more organised one.”
---
Jason chuckled at the look she gave at his full plate, but it didn’t bother him much. He’d gotten used to the looks at college. “Well, how do you feel about pirates?” He took a bite of his biscuit and followed it with a sip of orange juice. Too dry. “There’s a pirate museum in Salem, but that’s a ways to drive right now. We could hit that on the way home if you want. Otherwise there’s some fun pla.ces around town, science and children’s museums, aquariums or whatever that we could hit up and look like we’ve been attacked?” Maybe not the best idea, but off the top of his head, it was something. “Or hit up the science museum and look like we’ve been abducted. Go to a thrift store, buy cheap clothes and come back freshly ‘probed’.”
---
To be fair, there was no judging in the look she gave his food, just amusement. She didn’t even seem at all put off by watching him eat as she picked at the fruit in front of her and drank her coffee. “Actual pirate museums exist? Do they have plastic pirate figures? Life size?” Cassie asked, amazed that this really was around. “If we don’t get the chance to go today we reeeeeally need to go see that some other time!” Laughing, she reached over and pulled apart one of his doughnuts, idly eating part of it as she thought over ideas. “Maybe we can go on a treasure hunt! Find the loot and return it to the poor pirates who have been turned into plastic and stashed in the museum! We can help them regain their... piratey-ness...” By the end of her sentence the demon seemed over excited and was getting the two of them quite a lot of looks, many of them disapproving, which made her make an ‘oops’ face and settle down. “Or something.”
---
Jason playfully stabbed at her hand with his fork when she snitched his sugar high. Now he’d have to get another one. “Yes, there’s an actual pirate museum. It’s just outside Danvers actually, so we could hit it on the way home if we don’t take all day here.” Finishing off his eggs he started in on the smokey-sweet sausage. Yum.
He couldn’t help but grin as he sipped his juice, silently laughing at Cassie as she got more and more eager, people looking in their direction. “It sounds like fun to me. We can draw out a base plan, like what kind of treasure we need to find. Do all that here and then make the trip to the museum to ‘return’ it.” Leaning back in his seat, he thought for a moment. “Dude! We need to make a treasure map and act out finding it. And after we got the treasure, we need to ‘unbury’ it!” Okay, so he was getting as into this as she was.
---
Cassie stuck her tongue out at him when he tried to stab her, not feeling bad at all for what she was doing. She was a woman, it seemed to be a built in habit to steal food from their boyfriend’s plates. He’d cope.
It was a good thing Jason was so accepting of her crazy and chaos, even encouraging it apparently. “Dude!” She copied him, mimicking his accent and laughing. “That sounds awesome!” One hand stole the rest of the doughnut she broke up, and the other dug in her bag for a pen. “Ok! Let’s do this! What do we need to find? A parrot! Sparkly things!”
---
Stuffing the biscuit in his mouth, Jason reached down to his bag, pulling out the pen and notepad he always kept there. So he was a nerd, it happened. Flipping it open to a blank page, he started making notes. “Treasure map. Sparkly items, parrot,” he paused, glancing up. “I’m going to assume stuffed, right?” Chuckling, he grabbed another sausage link, polishing it off. “Box for the treasure, old bottle for the map. What else?”
---
A very hot, sexy, sweet, funny, silly nerd. THAT kind of nerd Cassie could handle. It was handy sometimes, hell it could come in really handy with finals coming up. That was if they could actually study without getting distracted. Somehow she doubted it. “Stuffed, inflatable, real, whatever we can find. I’m easy.” She shrugged, before realising what she just said. She shot Jason a look before adding “Don’t say it.” and rolling her eyes. “Pirate flag, we definitely need one of those. Grog! Actually there might be kids at the museum. Maybe no grog....for them anyway.”
---
Jason kept making the list, adding some ideas of his own but when Cassie mentioned easy, his gaze shot up and he grinned. “I’m saying nothing,” he protested innocently. “Jolly Rogers, we could always just use empty bottles of rum for the look. Fill it with tea or something. so there’s no trouble.” Leaning back in his seat, he regarded the list. Something was missing. “Costumes. For you and me. Can’t raid pirate treasure without being dressed up.” Once that was added to the list, he set it aside and quickly finished his breakfast, finishing up with his cooled coffee. “I think that’s everything.”
---
“That’s because you value getting laid.” She laughed, then more, ducking her head as she caught someone giving her a disapproving look for that comment. “So we need to add tea to the list, and drain some rum bottles. I can deal with that.” Cassie winked, joking, although really they couldn’t drink since one of them would need to drive and she wasn’t drinking on her own. Her eyes lit up most at the mention of costumes though. “Yessss!!!” She agreed with that idea, she couldn’t wait to get to that part of the plan. In fact she was jiggling impatiently (and probably fuelled by the sugar and coffee) until he finished. “Can we get to that costume bit now? Pleeeeeeeeeeease?” She pleaded.
---
Jason glanced out the bay windows, noting the sun. It was still early, but they needed to get started if they were going to get everything done. Laughing along with Cassie, he finished off his coffee. “Sure. Let’s get started. I figure we can hit thrift stores first, find what we can there cheaply and then maybe a craft store for the rest?” At the first they could get the costumes at least, probably the bottles and some of the items for the treasure chest. He was pretty sure they could pick up the rest at the craft store and have a cute souvenir at the end of it.
Picking up his plates and their mugs, he deposited them in the dirty dish line then came back for the bags. “Let’s go,” he said with a wide grin. This was going to be such a fun day.
---
“Good plan batman!” Cassie exclaimed, eager to get started. This was going to be an awesome way to spend the day. Not only was she going to get the chance to explore the city, which was long overdue considering, but she got to be an idiot with Jason. As soon as he had dumped the plates and cups she was out of there, ready for this adventure.
The first place they hit was a shop to grab a couple of disposal camera to document everything, then it was on to clothes! They were lucky when they hit the thrift stores for costume parts, getting some things that could pass for pirate when put together the right way. Cassie insisted that they couldn’t change into their things until they had the rest of the shopping, although it didn’t stop her snapping photos as they messed around the stores and totally ignoring any strange looks their behaviour earned them. It would get stranger yet. This was just prep.
Eventually they had all the stuff they needed though, and they split off to change, the demon coming back out in her pieced together costume wielding the sword and winking at Jason. “Ahoy there Cap’n. It be time for some scavenging.”
---
Jason was glad they had bought several cameras, because they were going through one just being nuts in the stores. Laughing alongside Cassie, he’d picked out his outfit. Rather, she picked it out and he just smiled and nodded. They’d found a pre-made “treasure” map and an old trunk that they filled with the cheap baubles, necklaces and gold-covered chocolate coins. It was impossible to have a treasure chest without gold coins, he’d argued.
Going into the bathroom opposite Cassie, Jason was please he didn’t have to change very much to get into his costume. Grungy jeans over top his boots, black wife beater, red scarf, hat, saber and jacket. Done. He checked himself out a bit in the mirror, glad he hadn’t shaved that morning. It gave him a more pirate-y look, he thought. Coming out, he grinned at Cassie and winked. “Arr, that it be, Firs’ Mate. Treasure huntin’.”
---
The issue was to stop Cassie eating the chocolate coins before they made it to the treasure chest. She might not be a breakfast person, but chocolate worked at any time of day, even if she told herself she shouldn’t be eating it. In other words, she was female. Luckily she was also easily distracted, so she forgot about the chocolate quite quickly, snapping photos of things as they kidded around, especially of Jason.
Mmmm, now if that was how all pirates looked then she would be happy to be captured and sail away. His total lack of embarrassment over his clothing added to the appeal too. “We must recover the loot for our brethren” Cassie nodded definitively, “but first to document our tales.” She snapped off a photo of Jason in his costume, then snagged a random passer by. “Sorry, excuse me, but could you take a photo of the two of us?” Posing with the dhampir as soon as she handed the camera over.
---
It was handy that Jason was good at distracting. Random kisses here, a touch there, dangling sparkly objects in her line of vision. They all worked to keep the chocolate safe. And of course, he did have a few extras stashed in his bag just in case Cassie couldn’t control herself.
That skirt needed to be just a bit shorter. Of course, if it was shorter, then the “adventure” would never happen. Damn. For the photos, Jason took on a devilish, swashbuckling air, growling at the camera for the look of it. Thanking the woman, he took back the camera. “Alright. So we need to find the map first, right? I’m thinking the beach, half buried in sand. And then we’ll wander around to follow it and come back to find the chest.” Grabbing her hand, he started walking to the docks, tugging her along in his excitement. Okay, so this was already fun and they were just getting started.
---
If that skirt were any shorter, or if she even looked at Jason too much, they were going to end up missing the adventure for a new idea, one they certainly shouldn’t document on cameras that needed to be developed by someone else... although that could be fun... As he spoke, coming up with a plan, she was idly playing with the sword in her hand, running her fingers along it, stroking it... what? Jason obviously turned her brain to one thing and one thing only, even if she didn’t realise she was doing it.
Cassie let out a girly eep as he grabbed her hand and they set off, but it turned into a giggle straight away. She was struggling to keep up with his long legs at first, but soon settled into his pace and stride. “I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a beach around here.... I need to get out of the school more often.” The demon mused, wrinkling her nose. As they walked she played up to any people who paid attention to them, especially a kid who was staring and who she pointed her sword at. “Ye never saw us laddy” She winked at the kid, making Jason give her a chocolate coin to pass to him, ‘paying him off’ as it were. As it turned out that just got her a dirty look from his mother, although the boy and his father did laugh as they were moved away from the strange pirate girl.
---
“Then you’ve never been to Carson beach.” Outside, he walked to the car, settling the items they’d bought and the bag with their street clothes inside. “We’re going to have to drive to get to the coast, unless you want to walk a few miles.” Jason didn’t feel like walking just now, not when the trip would take ten minutes by car and they could keep going with their day. Once on the beach, they could walk around and goof off, but they had to get there to start!
Once Cassie was inside, he maneuvered through traffic, getting to the beach in record time. The bottle with the map as well as a couple cameras were grabbed before he got out of the car. Coming around the other side, he stopped in front of Cassie, smiling. “By the way, you look good as a wench,” he teased, leaning down to kiss her.
--- “No, I have never been to Carson beach.” She agreed, stating the obvious for the sake of it. “As much as I could probably do with the exercise after that doughnut at breakfast, there is no way I’m walking anywhere far, especially not a few miles!” Cassie wrinkled her nose at the thought of that. They had better uses for their time than walking miles before they even got started on their photo story.
Even as he drove the demon snapped a couple of photos of Jason. There were going to be millions of photos by the end of today. Cassie had a thing about disposable cameras and taking random pictures. Eventually they reached the beach though, and in one piece despite her no doubt many distractions. Jason was obviously looking for a reaction when he called her a wench, so she didn’t give him the obvious one, instead kissing him back. “Mmmm... thank you, but I always look good.... and I’m not a wench, old man.” She grinned, stealing his hat to put on her head and running off.
---
Jason was glad they’d gotten the digital disposable cameras. They could take so many more photos and it looked like Cassie was going to be filling them. Didn’t bother him since it meant they had that much more documented for them to laugh over later.
Grinning down, Jason laughed when she stole his hat. “Hey!” Without it, he just looked like some weirdo in a ratty trench with a plastic sword. “Give that back!” Laughing, he chased after her, camera in one hand and bottled map in the other. Finally catching up, he looked around on the beach. Not many people were around with how cold it was outside. “Hey, Cass. Where do you think we should set the map?” Shells littered the beach, crunching a bit underfoot as they shuffled through the tide.
---
He WAS a weirdo in a ratty trench with a plastic sword, with the hat he was just all that plus a pirate hat. Luckily he could look good in a ratty trench with costume pieces, in fact he DID look good like that. “Never!” She exclaimed, well aware of the fact she could never really outrun Jason, and that he was just humouring her. Cassie turned around, walking backwards to look at him as he spoke. She had just opened her mouth to tell him her plan on choosing a place randomly, when she tripped and ended up on her ass. “Ow! I guess that’s your answer.” She laughed, trying to pout and failing.
---
Grinning and not bothering to hide it, Jason reached out, catching her hand and tugging her to her feet, brushing the sand off her ass. And if he happened to cop a feel or two, well who could blame him? Crouching down, he shoved the bottle in the sand, near the surf, patting the moist sand to make it cling and look like it’d been there awhile. “Look good?” He stepped back. Jason wasn’t an artist by any means, but it worked.
“So you wanna ‘find’ it or should I?” Time to get started on their photos!
---
She probably should have been offended that Jason was laughing at her falling over, but since she was laughing herself, and it was pretty ridiculous, Cassie was just amused. His hands on her ass was worth it anyway. “Oooh harder!” She joked at the glancing blows of him de-sanding her, rewarding him with a brief kiss.
“Hmmm... how about you ‘find’ it and I’ll read it... although maybe that should be the same person.... unless.....” Cassie babbled, looking around for anything to rest the camera on, since it had a basic self timer on it.
---
Jason could guess what she was trying to find and he spun around, looking as well. There were no easy posts around. Of course not, that would be too convenient. There was some driftwood though. Walking over, he picked it up. Not tall enough. Time to get creative.
“There’s an idea,” he muttered, turning back around. “Who says we have to take the typical shots? It’s a digital, so we can delete bad ones, but let’s go for fun shots!” Dropping to his knees, he turned the camera on, holding it close to the sand and taking a close up shot of the bottle. How to pull off someone picking it up though? Maybe just a hand in the shot? And then take the map out, camera on the sand angled up for the next?
--- Jason was really into this idea. If she wasn't already caught up in the fun she could see his enthusiasm being contagious. Cassie watched him looking around, obviously on the same wavelength as her, and laughed when he had his revelation. "I like it!" Waiting until he took the close up of the bottle, she got down in the cold sand, pretending to 'find' their map. "I think both of us looking at it would be cool for the next shot. Kneeling, standing? What do you think captain?" She asked, leaning over to put his hat back on him. "Mmm I do like a man in a position of authority."
