Sunday 1st March 09 Who: Cassie and Jason What: Some history being shared Where: Her room When: Sunday evening
Jason stood outside Cassie's door, running a hand through his hair and more nervous than he had been for quite some time. The conversation he'd had with Jay made him realize that Cassie didn't even really know his history. She'd never even asked. While he loved her even more for it, it was time someone knew. Granted, it wasn't like it changed him any, but the truth was a hard pill to swallow sometimes. He hoped that Cassie would understand the trust it takes to tell her this.
Gathering his courage, he knocked on the door then tried the handle, much like always. Finding it unlocked, he poked his head in. "Hey there, beautiful. Can I talk to you?"
--------------- Cassie was trying to work out how to organise a bachelor party Mal would never forget, but so far she had no offers from anyone else to help it along, which sucked. It was definitely a welcome distraction when she heard the knock on the door, soon followed by a very welcome voice that made the chaos demon smile.
Setting the laptop on the bed, Cassie unfolded from her seat and walked over to kiss Jason in greeting. "Always." She nodded, arms around his neck.
--------------- Jason smiled, relaxing for a moment as he returned the kiss, closing the door behind him. Glancing at the laptop, he frowned. "Am I interrupting your work? I can come back." He made the offer, realizing it for the coward's way out rather than the generous suggestion Cassie probably took it for.
--------------- Cassie looked back at her laptop too, but shook her head, wrinkling her nose. "No, it wasn't work, and even if it was you're a much better idea than working." She told Jason. "What did you want to talk to me about? Does it involve more telling me I'm beautiful?"
--------------- "Uh...well." Jason glanced away, licking his lips nervously. "I was talking to someone on the boards. The new girl, Jay. She...uh," he paused, chuckling breathlessly. "She made me realize there's something I haven't told you."
--------------- That nervous manner, his looking away... it didn't bode particularly well and it made Cassie worry a little. This was obviously something important, so she took his hand and led him to the bed to sit with her. "Ok... You don't have to tell me if it's something you don't want to though, you know that right?"
--------------- Jason followed her to the bed, taking a seat beside her. "I know I don't have to. But I should." He frowned, staring at her laptop. "Why haven't you asked me about my heritage? I know you must have been curious. But you've never asked."
--------------- Cassie shrugged, angling herself more towards him. "It was never a subject you seemed to want to talk about, your family never is, so I assumed it was something painful to discuss, and I didn't want to push you.... but yes, of course I'm curious. I woudn't be me if I wasn't."
--------------- "Right, right," Jason nodded, huffing out a breath. He held a breath, trying to figure out where to start. It was so hard and there was no reason for it. After all, it wasn't like he was the one raped, tortured and turned. He tapped his foot against the floor as he tried to figure out how to start.
--------------- Patience wasn't really one of Cassie's strong points, but somehow she managed to stay silent and wait for Jason to work out how and where he was going to start this story. She idly traced circles on the back of his hand with her thumb.
--------------- Jason supposed the only way to start was at he beginning. Well, sort of the beginning at least. He was going to ramble and he knew it. Staring at the wall across from him, because it was a safe place, he let himself get lost in his thoughts for once. "You know I was born this way. Half and half. I wasn't the one bitten. My mother was. She was unmated in the pack, but got pregnant with one of the higher males. I was to be born a were. She was attacked by a newly turned vampire." Jason paused, remembering the story as it was told to him, trying to sort out the details Cassie would need to hear.
--------------- Rambling was fine, Cassie did enough of it herself to not hold it against him. Listening to Jason start his story she nodded gently. She hadn't known any of that, at least not for sure. She'd assumed that he was born as a dhampir, although she couldn't say if he'd accidentally mentioned it before or it really was just an assumption. Still the demon stayed silent, letting him continue in his own time.
--------------- Jason's eyes clouded over. He'd heard the story told to him so many times in anger, hatred, it was almost as if he could see it happening. "Eight months along. The vampire had just been turned and risen. Found her. Raped. Turned her. In doing so turned me. She managed to make it back to the pack, but died having me." His voice grew soft, ashamed. "She got the alpha to promise not to kill me then died. Rose the next night and fought her way out to run." Jason licked his lips again. "They didn't kill me, but did everything just short of it to get me to leave."
--------------- Well she was right, this was obviously a painful thing for Jason to discuss, and no wonder as she heard the story start to unfold and develop. Knowing all the details of the way his mother was abused and everything she was put through was hard enough, but then to basically be an outsider in his pack, to not have a family at all... "I'm sorry..." Empty words, they couldn't fix anything, but she didn't know what else to say as she squeezed his hand, shuffling closer to rest her head on his arm. "They obviously couldn't see the guy I see..."
--------------- Jason scoffed, still not looking at Cassie, but dropping his gaze to stare a hole into the floor. Well, try to at least. "And what is it you see?"
--------------- Yeah, she wasn't going to let him get away with that for too long. Cassie moved and climbed onto his lap, trapping his head in her hands and making him look at her. "I see a man who could never be completely summed up in words. Someone who is not only good looking, but strong in body, mind and spirit, who looks after the people he cares about and the people who need someone to fight for them, who will go on silly pretend pirate missions with his girlfriend just for fun and makes her feel like a million dollars, even when she screws up. He is more than words, and anyone who doesn't want him doesn't know what they are missing."
--------------- Jason looked at her, because the choice she'd presented was either her eyes or her chest. Granted he didn't mind looking at the latter just then, but it wasn't what she wanted. He watched her, seeing and feeling the sincerity behind her words. When she was done, he sighed, pressing his forehead to hers in silent gratitude.
--------------- Cassie meant every word, and more besides. She only wished she could make Jason understand it all. It seemed some of if was seeping in though, and shen was glad she could impress any of it on him. Her arms slid around his neck again, keeping close. "I love you Jason."
--------------- Jason finally wrapped his arms around Cassie, holding her close in a tight hug. "I love you, too, Cassie." He couldn't believe that her opinion of him hadn't changed, that she still cared for him as much as she did when he'd told her that he'd been the cause of several deaths. His mother's, members of his pack. She forgave him so easily.
--------------- Had he voiced the things he felt responsible for, Cassie would have told him not to be so stupid, that he wasn't to blame for any of it. She couldn't imagine Jason deliberately doing anything of the sort. She didn't know though, so instead she just stayed wrapped around him, offering what comfort she could.
--------------- Jason had already put himself through the wringer for this. He had little intention of telling her he was responsible for so many deaths. Did she even know that he'd killed someone? That's why he was here after all. Jason tightened his grip on her waist, burying his face against her throat.
--------------- Had she really been worried about Jason being a killer she wouldn't have let him bury his head in her neck. Even when he was scared that he'd hurt her, she wasn't. She trusted him. "Thank you.... for trusting me with that." Cassie said softly. "I know it can't have been easy."
--------------- Jason kissed her throat, feeling her pulse throb just below the skin. "Out of anyone here, I should be able to trust you most, right? You needed to know this about me."
--------------- "Mmmm" She murmured, tilting her head to give him extra room. "It still means something that you trust me though."
--------------- Jason pulled his head back, shaking it slightly. With his nerves so rattled, he wasn't sure if he could control himself. "I trust you. Not so sure about myself."
--------------- "I trust you." She shrugged. "Probably more than you trust yourself, but you've been in harder to control situations and you've never hurt me, so why would I be scared of you?"
--------------- "Because..." Jason swallowed, knowing he was treading the line of making another difficult admission tonight. "Because you haven't had my fangs in your throat. Drinking you. It's harder to control then."
--------------- "Maybe we should..." Cassie paused, knowing he would shoot this down, but she had to say it anyway. "Maybe we should try it one day, before it happens during sex and is even harder to control..."
--------------- "Cassie," he started, licking his lips again. "I..." Jason sighed, taking a breath to start over. "Do you know why I came here? The real reason?"
--------------- "You told me you killed someone... that you were feeding, and it went wrong.... but that's why you're here. You've been learning haven't you? That's what the classes are meant to help with." Cassie said softly. "I just want to help..."
--------------- Okay, so she did know. Wait. She knew and still she wanted his fangs in her throat? Jason frowned, reaching up to stroke her hair. "I don't want to hurt you. Of all things, that's the bottom of my list."
--------------- "I know." She smiled softly, kissing him softly. "And I love you for that but.... what if you do lose control in the heat of the moment? Isn't it better you know how to feed before something like that happens?" Cassie trusted him, and she wanted to help him progress, feel safer feeding. Her emotional abilities affected everything, and what if she overwhelmed him one day and he bit without knowing how to control it? She trusted his control a lot more than her onw.
--------------- Jason returned the kiss and the smile, though it was more just a quirk of his lips. "I've gotten some practice out with Blue. Not much in the class. Something about the dolls just turns me off," he said with a shudder. Why would he want to bite someone who was already littered with holes? Gross.
--------------- "And I turn you on, so it's perfect." She joked, laughing softly and wriggling in his lap. "I'll drop the subject though, just for you. Well... for now anyway."
--------------- Jason groaned as her wiggling started waking up other parts of his anatomy. "You sure? I'm curious why you'd want me to. I mean," he paused, gripping her waist a bit more firmly to minimize just how much she crushed his boys with the wiggles. "This isn't the first time you've brought this up."
--------------- Miraculously, when Jason held her tighter to stop the movement she did stop wriggling. "Like I said, I want to help you, plus... well... pain slut." Cassie laughed. "I like it when you nip, and I like it when you're so in control, it's hot. It would be interesting to take it further."
--------------- "Are you sure?" Jason was all sorts of riled at this point, having just been on an emotional roller coaster. For the average vampire, it wouldn't be the best time to gently feed from someone, but for him, it mean his inhibitions were lowered just enough that he was considering doing something he wouldn't normally.
--------------- Wait. He sounded like he was actually considering this. Cassie hadn't expected that, but she'd go with it. "Yes. I'm sure. Are you really thinking about it?" She asked Jason carefully.
--------------- Jason chewed on the inside of his cheek, considering. "I don't know. I'm not saying no, but I'm not saying yes."
--------------- "That's good enough for me." Cassie beamed, kissing him again, showing how grateful she was for him even considering the idea this time. "Do I tell you often enough how amazingly lucky I am that you asked me out?"
--------------- Jason nipped her lip as she pulled back from the kiss, digging his teeth in just shy of penetration. "Nope. But you can tell me again."
--------------- Cassie whimpered softly at the feel of his teeth, her lust building and projecting out to him and probably anyone else in the vicinity. "Hot, know how to have fun, amazingly good at sex, talented mouth and fingers..." She purred. "Mmm... what was I saying? Distracted by memories."
--------------- Chuckling, he nipped her lips again. "You were saying how much you love me and how lucky you are I asked you out." Slipping a hand inside her jeans, he squeezed her ass. "Then you were gonna tell me what you were working on."
--------------- Cassie raised herself on her knees slightly, making it easier for him to get inside her jeans. "So lucky to have found my Prince Charming with a wicked mind, a dirty streak, and who knows how to control me and make it all feel oh so good." She murmured. "Who is much better than what I was working on."
--------------- Jason started to rhythmically squeeze her ass, knowing that she could feel it elsewhere. "Tell me anyways."
--------------- "Mmmm..." She moaned, writhing slightly. "I was just thinking about organising a bachelor party for Professor Hardy. Do a good deed and have some fun in the process. The more embarassing the better."
--------------- "Isn't he getting married soon?" Rather late to organize a party when the date was so close. But that was just like Cassie. Throw things together at the last moment and watch it come together beautifully. Or fall apart and it was just as spectacular. All depended on her mood.
--------------- "Wednesday," She shrugged. It was never too late to organise drinking. It just might be too late to get anyone else to join in. Cassie really wanted to make it a good night, but she wasn't so sure she could pull it off. "The queen of procrastination. I'm bad like that."
--------------- Jason pulled his hand out of her jeans, giving her ass a sharp slap. "Yes you are. Bad girl." He leaned up, giving her a hard kiss then set her back down on the bed. "Get cracking then. Wednesday is just around the corner."
--------------- Cassie pouted as he slapped her ass, but she couldn't fight the way her lips started to curl up at the edge, and the lust that ran through her eyes. God he needed to do that more often! How many times had she fantasised about Jason spanking her? "But I want to do you, not that."
--------------- Jason could feel precisely what she felt, the way it spiked through him. "Get it done, and you'll have a lot more time to focus on me. Might even reward you." He rubbed the spot on her jeans where he'd just struck.
--------------- "I can't do anything until people reply, so maybe you shoul reward me in advance....." She purred, eyes wide and innocent. "Or punish me for putting it off until now in the first place" Cassie teased.
--------------- Jason arched a brow and laid back on the bed. "Sure, I can punish you." He even knew how he would do it. By leaving her hanging. So cruel, he was.
--------------- "It's hot in here." Cassie peeled off her shirt to leave just a black bra and camisole that clung to her top half, and the jeans that did the same to her butt and legs. Crawling over the top of him, she stayed on all fours, lowering her lips to his in a kiss, but knowing he had one hell of a view.
--------------- Jason raised his hands, fisting them in her hair. A knee came up to cradle her against him. A split second later and he'd flipped them over, pulling back from the kiss and grinning. "You should be working."
--------------- Cassie let out a girly eep as he flipped her over and give in to her. "I am working, at making you remember why you love me." Came her smart-ass reply, eyes sparkling as she strained up to kiss him again.
--------------- Jason stayed just out of reach to infuriate her. Of course, he did say he'd punish her and he was in just a good position cradled against her thighs. Jason shifted his hips, rubbing into her. "I remember just fine."
--------------- Well that was annoying, and Cassie pouted, but then his rubbing distracted her a little, and she sighed, hands moving down to satisfy her need to touch Jason in a different way. "What about my lips? I was going to remind you of those."
--------------- Jason chuckled, pulling away. "For once, oh Chaos love of mine, I'm not going to ravish you. It is possible for us to have a conversation without sex." Still, he lowered his head and dropped a kiss to her stomach in apology.
--------------- "It is?" Cassie asked in mock amazement, but then she started to laugh, propping herself up on her elbows and looking down her body at Jason with a mix of amazement and love for having him there.
--------------- Lifting his head, he rested his chin on her stomach. "Mmhmm. Surprising, isn't it?" Rising back to his feet, he stretched. "If you give me ten minutes to grab my work, I'll come back here and spend the night."
--------------- It was like Jason read her mind. She was just going to ask him if he'd stay the night, but he suggested it first. "That sounds like exactly what I wanted." Cassie smiled. "You can even do my homework too if you want." She added with a wink, obviously joking,.
--------------- Jason laughed, kissing her nose. "Nope. You get to do your own homework. Or no midnight nookie."
--------------- "Spoilsport." She pouted again, but she was soon smiling. "Hurry up and come back so we can get our work done and get to rewarding me for being a good student."
--------------- "Alright." Giving her a wave, he pushed off the bed and headed for the door to his own place. That could have gone a lot worse.
