Who: Ciri and another dryad (NPC)
Where: the forest by the school
When: early morning
What: Ciri meets a dryad but things don't go so well.

Right after dawn, everything in the forest was so peaceful. Ciri was taking one of her usual morning walks before classes, and after saying hello to the young saplings, she had gone deep amongst the trees. One of her goals was to find another dryad - although they were rare, one or two of them had to exist near a school of supernatural creatures. So far she had no luck, but then she had stuck close to the school. It was time to go exploring and thankfully the dryad could find her way back easily by recognizing the trees she passed. Her cheerful attitude remained as she walked, admiring the flora around her because it was so beautiful! She walked into a small circle of trees and decided here was a good place to greet everything around her.

''Hello!'' she called... )

Who: Calvin and Ciri.
Where: Their apartment.
When: Dinner time.
What: Birthday celebrations.

Ciri awoke that morning, dressed, and had breakfast with less enthusiasm than usual. She was not able to get the poor sprout out of her mind; it stood there in the cold and would suffer throughout the months of winter. When she was in tree form, she accepted it as the cycle of life, but now she had the ability to help. Calvin went to work and Ciri threw on a coat to head outdoors in the direction of the first two sprouts. She said hello and held a conversation with them, glad that they were warmer now. After she promised she would return later, she left to go to the forest for the third sprout. She did her best to be cheerful for the young tree, gave her best smile, and that was when the idea for how to save it came to her.

Hours passed as she sat by the sprout, talking to it and then left with a lingering goodbye. After she returned to their apartment, Ciri grabbed several glasses from the cabinet. They would be perfect to prop up a glass bowl, giving the sprout enough light and also keeping it warm. Duct tape was enough to stick them together although they prevented the sun from getting to the plant. Luckily, she found scotch tape and that was perfect; she cut pieces of tape to place on the glasses. Soon enough, three glasses were stuck together, but when Ciri tried to move them, they wiggled much too easily. Time to put tape on the other side of the glasses.

More determined than she had been in a while, Ciri did not hear Calvin enter the apartment. Her brow was furrowed as she held the medium glass bowl over the glasses to see how wide a circle she needed to make and placed the remaining glasses accordingly. When she finished the circle, the bowl would go on top and be taped securely to the glasses with duct tape. It would work. It had to because she did not want to see any young trees die this winter. This was a new life for her and Calvin and she had to make it as wonderful as possible for him.

Who: Ciri and Go'al'enu
Where: outdoors
When: 9 am
What: moving baby trees to protect them from the cold of the winter.

Ciri threw on random clothes and her coat, hurrying out the door. She had no idea why she wanted to rush, but her worry made it necessary to save the very young trees as quickly as possible. In her haste, she forgot to put on her shoes. That wasn't important right now. Her running barefoot was quiet on the floors of the hallway and she found the exit that led to the trees by the school. The grass was cold and tickled her feet, but Ciri dashed to the place where she had agreed to meet Go'al'enu. Being friends with him was lucky and he was patient enough to teach her and answer the questions she asked. His simple actions of their previous meeting earned him complete trust from Ciri as well as her affection.

"Go'al'enu!" Ciri greeted and wrapped her arms around him for a gentle squeeze. There was no time to dwell on the hug because they had an important mission. "I will show you where the young trees are," she added in Ancient Greek, turning to the trees and started to hurry in the direction of the seeds and the sprouts. The plants were not too far away from each other, but they had landed a good distance away from the school. Ciri managed to dodge the roots of trees sticking up from the ground, running daintily.

They reached the area a few minutes later and she stopped in a small clearing, crouching besides a certain patch of grass. She spotted the couple of seeds and waved him over to investigate. "Here are the seeds," she told him and rose to her feet again. "The young trees are over there." Ciri walked over to where there were three sprouts rising from the ground, a reasonable distance from one another. "Do they have anywhere to go? Can we get a house for them? I do not know how cold the winters become here and I am worried."

Who: Calvin and Ciri Kelley
Where: the hallways of the school
When: morning
What: The Kelleys arrive.

They had finally arrived. Ciri Kelley walked energetically through the doorway of the school and her gaze darted around the hall, taking in the surroundings. There were a couple of people passing by her and she saw that one of them had wings. Wings? In her years of being a human nearly almost all the time, she never saw such a person. Curiosity got the better of her and she headed over to the winged woman, her hand outstretched to touch one of her wings gently. Calvin taught Ciri about personal boundaries, yet when she was very curious about something, that fact tended to fall to the wayside. The woman gave her a frown and hurried away before Ciri could introduce herself.

Worse was the woman left and Ciri was unable to apologize like she needed to do so because she offended her. A slight frown appeared on the dryad's face, but her attention shifted to a door of a classroom. She peered inside the window on the door and hoped to find some students in the classroom learning. The room was empty, unfortunately, and she increased her pace to head to the next one. It proved to have some people in it and she waved at them with a smile on her face. How exciting, people learning! Ciri looked forward to receiving more information from her classes although she had enjoyed learning from her husband very much. "Cal! Look at the students!" she said. She would be one of them!

Her dress rustled a little around her as she continued down the hallway, turning to grin at Calvin. "Race me to the end of the hallway," Ciri said to her husband. "Please?" She'd give him a reward if he was the winner or loser. After they toured the inside of the school, she wanted to see if there were any dryads in the trees near the school. She did not sense them from this distance.... maybe it was just a matter of searching a little. After a moment, she waited a couple of moments before starting to run lightly down the hallway, knowing he'd follow in some fashion because her rewards were always worth it.
