Who: Calvin, Ciri
When: After dinner
Where: Out on the lawn
What: Calvin and Ciri have a rather important talk.
Dinner had be pleasant. Calvin had no real qualms with cooking and had made a nice little meal in the Kelley apartment earlier that night. Afterward he had told his lovely wife to put on some weather appropriate clothes because he was going to take her outside. Grabbing a jacket for himself and zipping it up, he adjusted the collar around his neck. That done quickly, he helped Ciri into her coat before taking her hand and leading her out the door. All the way out he was telling her about his day at work, the strange things he saw students do or heard them say. He thought the lot of them rather funny and amusing. Calvin told her about the new things he had learned while working with Charlie, muttering quiet things that he didn't think other people should hear.
Holding the door open to the outside, he waited for her to pass through. Grinning, his hand pat her rear as she moved on by. "Oh, I'm sorry," he teased while letting the door close. He laughed to himself, following her along. The sun was almost completely set by now, but the purples and blues painting the sky were very pretty.
