Astrid was in an awesome mood. There was nothing possible that could  detract from her awesome mood. Even while she was hanging out in the lounge studying her science homework, she was in a good mood. She was humming her favorite song of all time, "Don't Fear the Reaper" (which was followed closely by Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever") and reading when she suddenly heard her phone start ringing. Well, not ringing. It actually had started to sing... Dear Prudence... won't you come out to play? Dear Prudence, meet the brand new daaaay...

What: Keagan and Astrid have another date and uh, mister chaste and innocent starts to act a little less of both. Mwaha.

What: Summer is delivering sex toys brownies for Astrid

Summer was partially dressed for her date later. She had put on a pair of pretty jeans over her rainbow toe socks, and was wearing a lace-trimmed camisole. The dress shirt she intended to wear was still hanging in her room; she didn't trust her double fudge brownies around it. It was rare for her to wear revealing clothing (she didn't quite dress like an Amish milkmaid, but she rarely showed too much thigh or cleavage), but this was just in the hall! Her bra showing on a few sides -- pink, with black stars -- she knocked on Astrid's door, platter in one hand.

"Heeey," she called, wondering if she was in her room. Her hair was wet from a shower; she would blowdry it later, and then hot iron curl it. It was going to be a process, and she wanted this taken care of first. Without any hint of makeup she looked younger than her age of twenty-four. Generally she always had mascara and lipgloss; with absolutely nothing she looked young. Young, and so, so tired. She had been up half the night.

What: Fox is gonna try to cheer her up!


Closing his computer, Fox sighed. Astrid sounded really upset because of the whole deal with her journal. She may have said that she didn't want to be around anyone, but he had the sneaky suspicion that she truly needed a friend right now. And since it looked like he was the only one aside from Fisher himself to back her up, he was gonna head over.

Keeping his feet bare, he slipped on his jacket and carefully put a couple glasses into his outer pockets. Opening soft leather, he slid a small bottle of Disaronno Amaretto into his inner pocket and made sure the bottle didn't spoil the line. He didn't want to add anything to the rumor mill by getting caught with a bottle of alcohol after curfew.

Grabbing his keys, he locked the door behind him and headed down the hall, stopping in front of Astrid's door. Knocking softly, "Astrid, it's Fox. Can I come in?"

What: Summer and Astrid are hanging out with he dog when chaos strikes

"It's so funny," Summer said, taking the toy from Sebastian's mouth as he brought it back for the tenth time, "because it totally doesn't even really look like a fox, I mean..." she held it up, showing Astrid how it was more of ared  tennis ball with a fake foxy tail attached, "but I guess how it moves, it just makes him nuts."

The two girls had become fast friends. Astrid's rapid fire, extroverted nature complimented Summer's general inclination to be reserved and shy. They had similar interests....Astrid was just more open about talking about them. A lot. Summer didn't mind whatsoever; she welcomed Astrid's forwardness openly. Astrid wasn't upset that her boyfriend had been responsible for her being temporarily blind last week, and Summer was hoping that she could introduce them on better grounds. Maybe they could all become friends?

Summer pulled her arm back and threw the toy again, further. Sebastian took off like a tiny gray shot, tail high, stubby legs flying.

What: Meeting up


Fox had just gotten out of the shower and laid the outfit that he was wearing that night on the bed. Finally, a chance to get out and actually do something. Okay, so it was with people from the school, and it was encouraged to dress up. He wasn't too thrilled about that part, but the suit he'd managed to score from the store manager was pretty awesome.

Dropping the towel from around his waist, he threw on one of his new pairs of boxers and slid into his monkey suit for the evening. It took him all of a five minutes to get dressed and gel his hair before he was ready to go. After cracking the door to his room to let out some heat, Fox picked up his hat and flipped it onto his head, checking out his reflection in the mirror. Not too shabby.

Sebastian came with her to Astrid's room, only because she couldn't bear the idea of leaving him less than a twenty paces away behind a closed door. After gathering snacks and supplies the bright eyed witch let herself into Astrid's room. "Hey," she called, feeling Sebstian tug on his leash. She deposited snacks on Astrid's desk before getting a better grip.

"I brought----"

Sebastian barked loudly, tail whizzing back and forth. It was the nice-smelling girl!

"--Sebastian, with me. Hope that's okay. He'll be good. If you feel the occasional lick, don't worry, it's him, not me."

Fox helped Astrid to her feet, leaving her bags on the floor. Glancing at her stricken face, he realized she'd scalp him later if he left her homework and books scattered everywhere. "Can you balance here for just a moment? I'm gonna grab your books." Reaching out, he set her hand on the back of a chair next to her so she could hold that and quickly knelt, shoving her books and papers into the back and slinging it over his shoulder.

"Alright, we're good." Gently, he grabbed her hands, and started leading her out of the room. "One foot in front of the other. Nice and easy. We're going to head to the infirmary and you're gonna tell me what happened, okay?"

Okay, it was official. Fox was an enigma wrapped in a cookie and now dunked in rock candy. She just could never figure him out. Although, she had his number, she knew it was that he was too scared to get truly involved with people, but she couldn't figure out how in the hell they had gone from hating each other Sunday night to sort of being okay on Monday. What. The fuck.

So, naturally, she figured that she'd surprise Keagan today with popcorn - unpopped - as a not-so-subtle hint that Star Wars night was to be had tonight!

As a result, this meant that about ten minutes before his supernatural history class was ending, Astrid was hanging out outside the door, pacing the hallway without a care in the world, bag of unpopped Pop Secret popcorn in hand.

What: Among other things, Jacob's spell backfires.

The hangover from hell increased Jacob's determination to take action. First he needed to decide what to do and chose magic as his medium. Pearl was unlikely to see reason through normal means of him telling her, so maybe a spell would help matters. His brow knit together as he gathered his magical materials, leaving the room to head to the student lounge. It was unusual for him to be casting magic in such a public space, but there was a first time for everything. Maybe Meike would be there to see it, maybe not.

What he did not notice were his shaking hands, the paleness of his skin, and the rings under his eyes; they seemed inconsequential compared to the goal he had in mind. Motivation spell. If nothing else came from it, it'd teach her a lesson which she sorely needed. Jacob slid the drawstring bag off his shoulder when he reached the student lounge and opened it towards the side of the room. He withdrew a book, because he just needed to remind himself of the spell he was doing, and a snack helped him to keep awake. A muffin seemed like the best bet right now and he finished it within a couple of minutes as he read, sitting on the edge of an armchair.

Jacob retrieved the tiny plastic bag containing a few strands of Pearl's hair and stared at it in his palm. A fresh wave of discontent hit him, his brow furrowing, and he clenched his fist in resolution. Yes, this had to happen. He knew this without a shadow of a doubt.

((OOC: So, here's the deal. I'm just going to post up a description of what goes down that day, feel free to have your kids wander off in interactions, just keep it all here replying as new comments letting people know who's involved and roughly the time. Here's what the kids will be doing))

11:30 AM - Kids meet at the front entrance and leave in a large van to get to Boston
12:30PM - 1:30PM: Boston Museum of Art, fairly quick runthrough, they could be seeing all sorts of things
1:30 - 2:30PM: Lunch at McCormick & Schmidt's after a ride on the subway
2:30PM - 3:00PM: Incident on Subway involving Adora and Duncan. ONLY SOME of the students can see what happens. Basically, first three kids to reply to the incident see the whole thing, next 3 see some of it, the rest don't see anything (BUT YOU WANT TO BE THERE FOR IT)
3:30PM: Matinee showing of Avenue Q
6:00PM: Van ride back to the school

What: Astrid and Fox got totally tricked into dinner together

This was kind of annoying. No, wait, more than kind of annoying. She didn't even know if she could stand Fox, much less purposely go out to dinner with him. Ugh, that Frankie. She was nice, but she was clearly trying to be matchmaker and there was no way Astrid could trust Fox as far as she could throw him. He was a jock. And jocks were never into geeks. It defied the social order! He had to be looking for an easy lay and she wasn't about to be a notch on his bed post. So try as he might, Astrid was going to make sure that winning her over would be the single most difficult thing for him to do.

Even if she did think he was super hot.

OH, but he was SO NOT HER TYPE!

Thankfully, Astrid already had a distraction planned to keep dinner at a moderate hour. She'd forgotten that she promised Keagan he would be able to watch Empire Strikes Back until about ten minutes AFTER agreeing to dinner with Fox and dessert with Frankie. It would take some quick and fast manuevering.

In the meantime, dinner first. Which meant here she was in her jeans and a light sea green sweater, her blonde hair in her eyes.
