Who: Keagan and Astrid
When: Saturday at some point
Where: Dunno yet?
What: There might be a date here, it's kind of up for debate first
Keagan couldn't help but feel nervous. He tried to tell himself that he was nervous about having to drive for the first time in nearly 30 years, but he knew he was kidding himself. He was nervous because he was doing something he'd never done before, and it had been far longer than 30 years since he'd ever done something completely new.
He picked up the keys from Adora and put up with the teasing she gave him as she showed him all the bells and whistles on the car.
"Pleeeease don't break it," Adora finished as she dropped the keys in his hand, still in her slippers, robe and slinky nightgown from the night before. "I don't really have the money to go buy a new one. And no messing the interior, either." She stuck her tongue out at him.
"If I break it, I will replace it." he said simply, purposely not looking below her neck line. She was in pajamas and it wouldn't be proper to do so. "Thank you so much for doing this."
"You're welcome. I'm just glad to see you took my advice and are off having a good time with someone. You need it." Adora reached out and pat him on the shoulder, then started back for her bedroom. "And remember, you're Greek! Don't you guys have the wild and crazy gods?" She shouted at him as she left.
"Yes, but I wasn't friends with them because they were jerks!" Keagan called back and waved as he walked out to the parking lot. He took the car for a bit of a spin over the next few hours so he could get the hang of driving once more.
At 4, he came back to the campus, parked, took a quick shower, changed into nice slacks and a button down shirt, then headed to the girl's dorm.
By the time Keagan had gotten back and was headed for Astrid's door, she'd managed to significantly cool down from her massive annoyance with Fox. She'd put it out of her mind, instead concentrating on the awesomeness that was going to be this date with Keagan. And it was. In fact, her heart kept pounding while she trying over and over again to figure out what she should be wearing. She just didn't have a clue, though, what she should wear for the date, but she figured she'd... give it a shot and just go for khaki slacks and a very nice, dressy green top. She even got out her green knit jacket to wear and had nice green flats to match. She'd given her hair some loose curls and some nice earrings. She hoped that... oh, god she hoped she looked good.
Keagan knocked on her door, rocking on his heels. He could hear her shuffling about inside. Out of nervousness, he poked at the soil in a potted plant infront of the window by her door. Oh god! He forgot flowers! Frankie told him to get flowers. He took a bit of the soil from the pot in hand and quickly formed it into the shape of a rose bud. With a few muttered spells and hand gestures, he transformed the soil into crystal, and was just dusting off the spare flecks of dirt from the crystal rose when he heard the door knob turn.
Astrid heard Keagan knock on the door and immediately wished she hadn't. Her heart decided it was going to ram itself right up her throat without a damn care in the world if she wanted it to do that. "Oh god, he's here..." Astrid did a quick mirror check, then scurried to the door, opening it slowly. And then her breath kind of disappeared for a second because Oooooh holy crap, he was soooo cute. And they were actually going on a date. And... there was something shiny in his hand. "H-Hey..." Astrid managed to squeak, then cleared her throat, blushing and trying again, her voice deciding to be normal this time. "Hi."
Keagan smiled a bit sheepishly and held out the little crystal rose. The rose was only about as long as a deck of cards, but otherwise proportionate. He held it between his thumb and forefinger, and was doing his best to resist bowing like something out of a nickelodeon. "Hi. Are you ready?"
"I... uh..." Astrid blushed harder when she realized he was holding out the rose. "I'm... y-yeah..." She took a step closer, then slowly reached out for the rose. "I-is this for me? I... this looks... a-amazing..."
Keagan smiled warmly, "Yes it's for you. I figured it would last longer than a simple flower..." Well, unless his spell wore off, but that wouldn't happen for some time. "The car is all warmed up and ready to go."
"This is..." Astrid had no words for a sec, and she smiled, glancing up at him. "So sweet. Thank you." She tucked it in the pocket of her coat gently, then stepped out so she could lock and shut her door. "I'm ready to go when you are."
Keagan looped his arm in hers and headed out to the parking lot. He pulled the keys out of his pocket and pushed the little unlock button Adora had shown him. The car chirped merrily to announce it's presence.
Thankfully, Astrid did not ask about the car. She felt like it would be kind of lame to start talking about a guy's car. She didn't even know if it was his, and she wasn't going to ask. "So, I am sooooo glad to be getting off this stupid campus. Seriously? People are driving me nuts around here."
Keagan grinned and walked to the passanger side to open the car door for Astrid, "It does seem very closed in and remote out here. Even though we're only a short drive from one of the biggest cities in the country."
Astrid slipped into the car, waited for Keagan to get in and then buckled her seatbelt. "Y'know, I've totes never been in Boston except for that field trip. I kind of skipped it when the 'rents dropped me off. Papa said it was nice and that I should go visit, but he doesn't do anything these days."
"We will need to remedy that one day." Keagan clicked his seatbelt in place, "It's such a wonderful city. Perfect for walking around." He started the car and backed out of his spot, then started for the Imax theater, which was apparently at a furniture store, but he wasn't going to question it too heavily. Maybe all furniture stores were multipurpose.
"Well..." Astrid grinned, plucking the rose from her coat pocket so she could look it over, blushing a little still. "Maybe if tonight goes really well, that could be date number two?"
"Sure, if you want to go on a date number two." Keagan said, one eyebrow up. He pulled onto the high way and started south, "The theater isn't far. Just a few miles. Of course, we're driving past 3 movie theaters to get to it."
"Yeah, but it's IMAX. Believe me, it's worth it." Astrid said, happy for a chance to be a total geek, looking over at him. "Gigantic screen of epic doom. Imagine sitting down to watch a movie and literally not being able to see anything in even your peripheral vision but... movie."
"That sounds like it would make you ill." Keagan said frankly. "Especially in a film like this one"
"Maybe, but I think you'll be okay." Astrid slipped the rose back in her pocket, then leaned back in her seat to watch the road go by while they talked. "So, I'm starving, how about you?"
Keagan grinned, "I could certainly eat." Keagan exited the highway and turned into the shopping center where, at the top of the hill, sat the theater. Around them were a Chili's and a Maccaroni Grill. "Well, we could go for peppers, or grilled maccaroni..." He knew that the restaurant names werent literal.
"Ummm..." Astrid chuckled, reaching over and swatting at his arm some. "You smart ass. That's a Chili's, but they do have AWESOME chicken tacos. Ugh, I so want chicken tacos now."
"Chicken tacos it is then." Keagan pulled into the parking lot and turned off the car. He hopped out quickly and moved over to the other side of the car to open Astrid's door and help her out. There were patches of ice on the ground, so it was a little slick
Astrid took his hand, glancing down when she realized that it was icy. She slid a little, but managed to keep her balance for the moment. "Okay, the things I do for tacos."
"I hope they are worth it." Keagan put an arm around her waist to make sure she doesn't fall over. He locked the door to the car with the clicker, then headded inside. Keagan opened the doors to the restaurant for her and then went to the pedistal and let the hostess know they needed a table for 2
Keagan was so nice to her. Astrid blushed a bit when he put his arm around her waist, but she was certainly glad that he didn't stop holding onto her on their way to the restaurant, and even when they made it to the table. "I think you'll like them." Astrid said as she slid into the booth seat, immediately telling the hostess she wanted a Dr. Pepper.
Keagan ordered a water, then looked at the menu. "Wow, they have... a lot of menu items." He was a bit floored by it all. He saw an insert advertising something called '2 for 20'. "We should do this."
"Huh?" Astrid glanced over at the menu, then nodded. "Oh, yeah, we should." She grinned as she skimmed it. "And my Crispy Chicken Tacos are on that list!" She looked through the appetizers available and hmmmed. "Do you like spicy foods?"
Keagan nodded, "I do, why?" He looked at the appetizer list, "Ahh, the onions and jalapenos?"
"Oh my god, yes, that was totes what I was thinking." Astrid bobbed in her seat a little. "Seriously, the best freakin' app of aaaaall tiiiiiiiiiiiiiime."
"Ok, so that, and I think I'll get the burger sliders." Kegan stated, looking over the menu. Around that time the waitress came back with their drinks. She took their orders and promised to be back shortly.
Once the waitress was gone again, Astrid moved so she could pull her feet up and lay across the booth, looking over at him and resting her hand on her Dr. Pepper glass. "So, I think so far, we're doing a good job."
"Really? That's comforting." He smiled and sipped his water. "I don't have a frame of reference other than what I've seen in movies and in books."
"Well, you're doing an awesome job." Astrid grinned, sipping her drink and settling down. "You're making me feel comfortable, I'm enjoying myself, I hope you're enjoying yourself. And, um... y'know, if things go really well and this works out, maybe we can, um... actually say we're dating."
"I am certainly enjoying myself. There is Creedence Clearwater Revival playing on the restaurant radio, my water tastes clean, I'm going to see what appears to be a good movie with a very lovely girl." Keagan grinned, figuring he was going to get a friendly kick under the table for the over flattery, "What's not to like?"
And a kick he did get. Astrid bumped his leg with her foot with a giggle. "Shut up, flatterer." She was blushing now, so she decided to hide her face in her soda for now. "You're gonna make it difficult for me to focus on my food if you keep saying I'm pretty."
Keagan leaned in a little, his tone still teasing, "Ahh, but there is no food yet."
"I'm really going to kick you!" Astrid laughed, grabbing her napkin, and tossed it at his face.
Keagan laughed and caught it. "Why thank you! Now I have two napkins! How thoughtful of you."
"No, no, gimme back!" Astrid lunged across the table, then nearly spilled her drink she was holding in the process, so she sat back again, staring at her drink with a pathetic pout.
"Oh dear!" Keagan immediately took his napkin and laid it across the mess of soda and ice. He lifted her glass upright again and did his best to clean up, "I'm so sorry, Astrid."
Astrid looked over at Keagan, her pout turning to amused confusion. "It's okay, I just shouldn't have been lunging across the table like a doofus." She reached out and grabbed his hand without thinking. 'It's fine..."
Her hand was on his and suddenly his face was flushing. Why did someone suddenly turn up the heat in the restaurant? "Uhm... has any spilled on you?"
Astrid smiled and shook her head, pulling her hand back again and clearing her throat. "Nope, I'm good. I'll survive."
Keagan gestured to a waitress, who came over with more napkins and helped get the mess cleaned up.
"Look, I'm fine..." Astrid chuckled as they cleaned up the drink, and she got another one just as their waitress came by with the onion and jalapenos.
"Well, you're a witch. I wanted to make sure you didn't melt" Keagan expected another kick. He nabbed his fork and pulled a few forkfulls of peppers and onions onto the small, orange plate provided.
Astrid gasped, dropping her jaw in mock-offense, then grabbed the app and dragged it towards her. "No more peppers for you."
Keagan looked mock offended, "Hey, now, I'm just pulling off some for me! I'm not taking it all like some people are."
"Yeah, well, you never asked me..." Astrid sat up and fluttered her eyes, then put on a fake Glinda accent. "Are you a good witch or a bad witch?"
Keagan coughed some, as laughing while eating a jalapeno are not two things that go together well. "You're wearing green, not pink. Hence you melt."
"Oooooh, clever man." Astrid chuckled, grabbing a fingerful of food to dip in ranch before popping it in her mouth. She felt a trickle of ranch on the corner of her mouth and licked it up before taking another sip of her drink. "I'm gonna have to watch my wardrobe around you, apparently."
"Why, are you afraid I'll borrow it. I don't think I'd fit in any of your outfits." Keagan tried eating a bit of onion the way she had, with his fingers and dipped in ranch. It was very delicious
"I have no worries about you dressing in women's clothing, kay? I mean," Astrid took another bite of food, then had to pause, occasionally opening her mouth because the food was so hot. "Unless you were in a J. Edgar Hoover commune."
"No, it was a lumberjack commune," Keagan deadpanned, "We were ok. We slept all night and we worked all day."
"Oh em gee, Monty Python ref for the win, dude!" Astrid held her hand up to give him a high-five, all banter forgotten for the moment.
Keagan clapped his hand against hers, "I thought you would like that one."
"It was full of win, especially since we were just talking about you wearing women's clothing."
"Exactly. I cut down trees, I wear high heels, suspenders and a bra. I wish I was a girlie just like my dear papa." Keagan sipped his water again.
"Okay, stop." Astrid giggled, pointing at him with an onion straw. "Or I may have to stop this date right now on the fears that my possible boyfriend might be teh gay."
"No no, not gay." Not really strait either. People were people, and everyone at the school was a child to him.
Astrid chuckled, then shook her head. "Well, no, I mean, otherwise you wouldn't ask me out. Unless... you just figured it out?" Astrid momentarily panicked in the middle of eating her onion straws and peppers. "Oh god, what if I just turned you gay?"
Keagan laughed, "You could not possibly turn anyone gay"
And... now Astrid was blushing. Because something about that statement had completely caught her off-guard and she simply didn't know what to say to that other than to blush and say "Thanks..." It was a good thing that, again, they had their main courses to distract them in a moment.
Keagan busied himself eating his sliders and fries, and watching Astrid dig into her chicken tacos.
Of course, watching Astrid eat these chicken tacos was a fun sight to see, as she practically had foodgasms with every bite. There was no better food at Chili's than the Crispy chicken tacos.
Keagan actually found himself squirming, hearing her happy groans of pleasure. This was an.. awkward sensation. He squirmed in his seat slightly and focused solely on his burgers.
Astrid was blissfully unaware as she happily went about eating her tacos. She glanced over at Keagan at some point and smiled. "How are the sliders?"
"They are good." He replied, a little too quickly, "I'm guessing that chicken tacos are your favorite food aside from the poptarts?"
"Hmmm, that's... a hard decision..." Astrid thought about it for a moment, midway between taking another bite of the taco. Her taco dripped some sauce onto her hand and she licked it clean, finally having an answer. "I think chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream still wins."
Her little pink tonuge was darting from her mouth to lick her hand and Keagan was suddenly not sure if he could do this. Sitting here, watching her. He was quickly becoming... gods, aroused?
And again, Astrid was still pretty oblivious at the moment. As a girl who was a geek and had never seen herself as terribly sexy or cute, Astrid didn't realize what she was doing might be terribly attractive. Thankfully for Keagan, she was on her last taco.
Keagan finished off his burgers and fries and then his water, needing the distraction. he checked his watch to make sure there was still plenty of time before the movie.
"Oh!" Astrid suddenly thought as she finished up her taco. "Did I tell you this movie was gonna have a huge trailer for Dark Knight? At least, that's what i read online."
"The new Batman movie?" Keagan's eyebrow went up, "But I thought that didn't come out until the summer."
"Right, but it's gonna be some super-seekrit trailer thing that you get to see, but only with I Am Legend. I'm soooo excited." Astrid practically was bouncing again in her seat.
The waitress came by again to take their plates and their dessert order. "Uhm, I'll let you pick the dessert, Astrid."
"Ummmm..." Astrid took her time looking through the dessert menu, before grinning and deciding. "Can I get the chocolate chip paradise pie, please?"
The waitress took their now empty dinner plates and went off to get their dessert. Keagan waited until she was gone before resuming his thought. "Is it common to have trailers so far in advance of films?" He hadn't seen a movie in the theater since the late 70s. In Astrid's reckoning, he'd never seen one.
"Oh, yeah." Astrid said as she swallowed another slurp of Dr. Pepper. "Sometimes, you'll see trailers for movies not even coming out in another year."
"So... What happens when we get there? Obviously we buy our tickets... but..." He chewed his lip. He had no clue what kind of seating it was, if it was assigned or not.
"You grab your tickets, then you got running into the theatre and get a seat. After you get munchies. It's pretty basic." Astrid grinned happily at him. "It'll be fun."
"So, have you seen a movie at a theater like this one before?" Keagan was absently playing with one of the spare, square coasters on the table.
"Yeah, I saw Spider-man 3 in IMAX. It was pretty sweet. The problems with that movie? Totally not because of the effects." Astrid grinned, then noticed what he was doing and just watched for a moment.
Keagan took two of the coasters and propped them against each other to form a little house. Then he realized that he was being watched, "Sorry">
"What... are you doing there?" She giggled as she watched him, propping her elbow up onto the table.
Keagan blushed a little, "Well, making a house of cards..."
Astrid shook her head, and would have said something, but then she saw dessert and she had nothing else she wanted to think about. "Food."
Keagan grinned at her, "Sugary food"
With another bright grin, Astrid waited as the food was put in front of them, grabbed a spoon and twirled it in her fingers before digging right in.
Keagan had a few bites of the dessert, but let Astrid have most of it.
When dessert was done, Astrid was quite happy and satisfied and quietly relaxing in the booth. "Oh my god, that was yummyful."
Keagan grinned, and when the waitress came by a few seconds later, he nabs the bill and puts a twenty and a five dollar bill in the envelope. "Alright, we can go whenever you are ready."
Astrid opened her mouth when he paid for dinner, but didn't get much of a chance to protest otherwise. So, instead, she focused on the fact that they had an epic movie to go to! "Okay, I'm ready. Will Smith and hawtness awaits." She smirked as she slid out of her seat.
Keagan stood and helped her out of her seat and back into her coat. He took her arm as they headded back out to the car. The sun had set while they were inside, and it was colder now. "I hope the theater is nice and warm.."
Astrid smiled as she held onto his arm. This was so nice, she really was happy to be with him. She could see this working... y'know, for more than just a couple of dates. He was honest to her, he was nice, he didn't spend his time purposely trying to piss her off, it was great. “I'm sure it will be. If not, I'll hug you and keep you warm.” She grinned as she reached her side of the car.
He had followed her to her side of the car so he could open the door and help her back in. He had been covertly pulling sand into their path to make sure they didn't slip. He helped her into the car then went over to his side, "It feels wastefull to drive just to the top of the hill, but it's so icey, I dont want to risk walking it. Plus, we'll be getting out late and that looks trecherous to come down."
"Yeah, it does look pretty significant there..." Astrid said as she glanced out her window again and up the daunting slope ahead of them. "Yeah... y'know, given my luck, though? I'd fall and slip and really break something and I don't think that goes well for our track record."
"Well, I know a few tricks to make it less slick... call the salt and sand onto the ice and all that. But yes, it is best not to tempt fate." He started up the car and drove up to the building on the hill. It was massive, and he still thought it was odd that a movie theater was inside a furniture store. He managed to find a parking spot not too far from the front entrance and parked. He once again moved to astrid's side of the car to open the door for her.
Astrid was not used to being given so much gentlemenly attention, but she wasn't going to be silly enough to embarrass him about it and make him stop. So, when he opened her door again and let her out, she grinned and took his hand so she could get back up. "So, got any idea of the kind of munchies you want for the movie?"
Keagan walked up to the giant revolving door and through it. The insides were... garrish and confusing. "Well.. I was thinking popcorn and a coke, but then I found myself in a jellybean forest, so I'm thinking mushrooms and marajuana..."
Astrid nearly choked on her own spit she began to laugh so hard. "You did not just say that," She giggled, but she was just as wrapped up in the forest as he was. "Seriously? Are we in the right theatre? I've totes never been here but it's insane."
Keagan looked around. He saw a sign that pointed to an IMAX, "The theater is that way, apparently. I read that this place was a combination theater and furniture store. I didn't think it was an acid trip too."
Astrid laughed, nodding in agreement. "God, seriously. I totally agree. I feel a little freaked out like I'm gonna start seeing Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds." Astrid followed Keagan and the signs for the IMAX with her arm looped around his, smiling.
Keagan walked, arm in arm with a light smile on his face, down the hall to the IMAX lobby. He bought their tickets in one line, then moved to another to get their popcorn and sodas, and some surprise reeses peices for Astrid, because he had a sneeky feeling she'd like them.
The movie had been a totally amazing experience for Astrid. She cried like a total baby through the whole time, had been crying on Keagan's shoulder, and also had been totally stunned that he'd gotten her Reese's pieces. God, why couldn't everything be as easy as just sitting and watching a movie?
Keagan was surprised that she got so into the movie at first, but then he got completely into the scale and scope and hugeness of the whoe thing. And he rather liked having her pressed to his shoulder. Afterward, he took her arm in his to walk her back to the car. It was pretty late now, and the parking lot was nearly empty.
"Oh my god did you see that trailer? Oh my god that movie is going to kick SO MUCH ASS!" Astrid was babbling like a fangirl as Keagan gently steered her towards the car. She couldn't help be excited, because the fangirl in her was freaking out. "And then! Holy crap teen titan and did you see that Superman/Batman poster in the movie? I totally saw that! OH my god, I wonder if they're gonna do it finally!"
Keagan just smiled and walked with her, "They made some changes in the film from the novel or the original movies, but I liked the changes. Very sad."
"Oh my god, I cried like a baby. Poor Saaaam." Astrid whined, holding onto him and glancing up at him. "The worst part was when you find out he's a she and somehow that makes it even SADDER."
Keagan opened her door and helped her into the car, "Still.." he paused until he was in the car as well, "It had a far happier ending than the original short story. At least in this ending, humanity continues on with a cure."
Astrid buckled up and glanced over at him, curling up in her seat because she had gotten superbly cold, even with her jacket. "What's the original ending's like? Someone told me there's a version of this that's super-old with Vincent Price, but I haven't seen it."
"I meant the one with Charelton Heston called The Omega Man. It's a good movie. I like Charelton Heston. Planet of the Apes, Earthquake, Omega Man, Soylent Green... so many good Bad Science fiction movies." Keagan smiled over at Astrid as they headded back out of the parking lot and home again.
Astrid grinned at the mention of Planet of the Apes, and she reached up with a shaking fist. "Get your hands off her, you damn dirty ape!"
"You cut him! You sliced up his braaain!" Keagan grinned, "Clearly, a marathon is needed where we quote along with the movie."
"Yes, yes, I love this idea!" Astrid laughed, leaning back. "Oh my god, I love hanging out with you. You get all my geekdom. Well, most of it. Like, you get all the retro stuff."
"I guess that makes me an old skool geek?" He tried his best to pronounce the K in 'skool'."
Giggling, Astrid nodded and reached out, patting his arm affectionately. "Yes, you are old school and that is totes teh awesome." Despite any protests to the contrary, Astrid suddenly felt a yawn overtake her, and she leaned against the back of the seat, drowsy.
Astrid's yawn was infectious, "Ahhhhrg... I really hate that. Such a defect."
Astrid laughed some, nodding. "Yes, there are a few massive defects in the human body. That's a good word for it. Next time you annoy me, I should just look at you and go 'Dude, what's your defect?'"
"And I will reply, 'yawning' in a simple way, and you will fall over laughing." He grinned at her a little. It was a much faster drive home to the school then to the theater. They were already parking in the parking lot in no time.
Of course, Astrid had kind of spent half her time laughing while they were talking, and the other half trying not to doze off. It had gotten fairly late, so when he parked the car and she stepped out of it, Astrid wrapped an arm around his middle and snuggled him without thinking. "It's cold. But probably because I'm so tired."
Keagan locked the car behind him and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "Come on, I'll walk you back to your room." He quite enjoyed the feeling of her pressed to him
"Mmkay... I like this plan..." Astrid smiled, walking lazily with him towards the residential building. She felt good. Very good. She really liked Keagan, she knew she had a crush on him and this had just confirmed that she really wanted to try dating more. She just couldn't decide how to mention it to him. "I promise I won't force you to sleep in my bed and endure mountains of gossip about us."
"Gossip I can endure. At least the good gossip like people knowing I hang out with a very pretty girl."
Astrid blushed for the billionth time that night, and she reached out, poking him in the ribs playfully. "Stop saying I'm pretty, you're gonna make me blush like crazy. As if I haven't done that enough already."
Keagan tickled her side some, then they reached the door to her room, "Here we are. I hope you had fun tonight."
Astrid smiled, pausing in front of him and rocking on her heels a little. "I had a lot of fun. I had a really, really great time." She was blushing, as you do, on her first date, but she couldn't help it. "I'd like to do it again. If you like. I, um... I really do like you, Keagan."
Keagan smiled and brushed a piece of hair from Astrid's face, "So, we can do this again? Because I would like that"
She giggled a little and nodded, feeling her stomach flip in a very pleasant way when he touched her face. "Yes. Do you think, uh... this would be official?"
"I believe so? If you want it to be. I would like it to be." Keagan's face flushed slightly.
Astrid grinned, nodding and blushing a bit. "Great."
Keagan moved a little close, "I'll see you later then?
"Yeah..." Astrid crept a little closer to him as well, nervous but kind of liking that feeling.
This was the part Keagan had been dreading. He knew it was expected of him, it was just.... Outside of friendly, continental style greetings, never touched lips to a woman's. Still, he figured the corner of her mouth would be fine. He took a breath and leaned in, intending to kiss the corner of her mouth.
Astrid wasn't stupid, nor had she planned to leave the night without giving him a kiss of some kind. So, when he leaned in, Astrid had no reservations about moving her head ever so slightly and let her lips press against his, reaching a hand up to rest it on his chest.
His lips were warm and tingling like they had mint or cinnamon on them. Her lips were so soft on his. After a few moments, though it felt like hours, he pulled back. There was a slight smile on his face, "Good night..."
He really seemed hesitant, but she didn't mind it. She was used to guys who didn't have all that much experience. She finally pulled away, though, smiling and reaching behind her, feeling for the doorknob. She quickly turned and unlocked her door, then opened it, backpedalling into her room. "Night..."
