[There is nothing broadcast to the dome 'today', for Marina is an empty simulation now. Come midnight of Day 443, every last ounce of inmate data was ported out to home worlds, shared or true. Severed of its limbs, Sector 0 existed only so long as its server power allowed it. And come that midnight hour, power had been indefinitely shut off, suspending it the way a sealed room can be preserved for decades.

But all was not yet done with Marina Nova Asylum.

There were still loose ends, ways to trace or track the information on and about those people ported out. The data needed to be properly cleansed and destroyed. They could go without doing it, Jaden especially, but something in him didn't feel like he could rest until he was certain he'd done his part to help those freed remain that way.

It's with reservation that he connects once more to stand amongst the empty sector, feeling it scream at him in silence after such a period of time since he last visited. He wears the familiar guise of his avatar, remembering the feeling of having limbs with a soft quirked smile. He'll miss these inmates as he missed the others.

Hello, inmates. I have to extend a somewhat somber morning greeting for Day 440. I believe we've established ourselves to be as transparent as possible with you, and so I must let you all know that Sector 6 is no longer accessible. It and its contained inmates are no longer with us, due to an attack on us from the outside. You may be aware that you are precious data that we are trying to shield from the hands that once stole you, and to continue optimal running of this simulation we will be shutting down Sectors 1 and 5 tomorrow as a precaution. Please vacate these sectors in entirety by tomorrow morning, anything and everyone left behind will be voided. That action cannot be undone.

I apologize... for this unplanned upheaval. We lost... quite a few inmates today and are doing everything we can to ensure your safety.

Hello and good morning, inmates. I wanted to extend my apologies for the technical issues the dome experienced yesterday, and reassure you that things should be back to normal and expected functions today. Thank you for your patience.

Today is a day for creativity and artistic endeavors. Dispensed throughout the dome's public locations you will find a variety of spray-paint cans which you're encouraged to use to brighten up the scenery for the day. No surface off limits, we would like for you to let loose and do as you please - but the unfortunate downside being the artwork will only last until tomorrow morning. Much like... Cinderella? You have until midnight to have your fun.

The shops are stocked with other painting supplies as well, should you like brushes and paint cans as well. Please enjoy yourselves and have fun.

Hello inmates, welcome to Day 436. Looking back into some of the results of the therapy sessions within the dome, we've examined that many people struggle with conveying thoughts through verbal speech. Looking for ways to remedy this, we have made today a hands-on project.

Present within the shops today are a selection of cakes with a variety of messages from the mundane to the deeply insightful. We hope that you feel inclined to select a cake and choose a recipient for it, to whom you can deliver it personally or have one of our drones drop it off. They will be within the dome for the extent of today for this purpose before retiring come tomorrow.

Should you not find the wording for your heartfelt messages existing, there are stations in Sector 0 where you can freely create your own designs to be distributed at your leisure. We hope you have some fun with this.

Oh, and Ms. Smoak? If you have a moment, I thought we could catch that bite to eat. My schedule's open for the afternoon.

For your viewing pleasure today there is a new exhibit at the museum; Dildos of the Ages. Ranging a variety of decades and encompassing a few multiverses, it's quite a diverse display of sex toys commonly used by human and other races alike. If you feel inspired by any sights seen, we encourage you to peruse the newly taken over establishment belonging to one Captain Jack Harkness for a variety of objects that you can in fact take home with you. Sort of like a gift shop of sorts.

Welcome to day 428. It looks like yesterday's therapy sessions went well, there was a variety of themes that seemed well attended. I hope you all got something out of it, that was its intention after all.

Today there will be a temporary installation in Sector 0 among the food carts where there will be a variety of ice creams and gelato for sampling, in various formats and accompaniments. Please do check it out and advise me on what you consider the better flavors. Nondairy options are available as well.

While tightening up the program, we noticed a long time scheduled event that you may actually benefit from, so rather than remove it we're allowing it to play out as planned. Well, mostly as planned.

Today is group therapy day! I'm sure you all have plenty of things you need to get off your chest, so we've arranged a few meeting places where you can do just that! Just follow the signs to whatever group you feel speaks to you the most, and if you still need a little bit of a push there will be treats waiting for you there.

Oh, and unlike before, none of this is mandatory. You won't get in trouble for skipping out, I promise you. However, Jaden and myself will attend a few of these meetings so if you have no interest in improving your emotional and mental health then perhaps we could just have a chat, face to face.

Good morning, previous - erm, inmates... New collective? Sounds a little bit nicer, but it's up to you what you'd like to be called. I'd be interested to hear your suggestions. [What do you want to identify as, MarinaNovians? Where do you feel you stand now? It's fascinating.]

You may have noticed a few new changes overnight, one more subtle than the other. We removed the sentinel presence from the dome as it was feeling obsolete. Much like some technology of yours we've updated, replacing your previous headset system with a device and accessory modeled more closely to smartphones you may be accustomed to. This now allows for voice, video and text posts. I know this is a sudden change, but you've already acclimated to so much I'm sure you can handle it.

My name is Mary. Some of you already know me. Some of you I've already talked to quite a bit, though you probably didn't know it was me at the time. We have a lot to discuss. I value your patience.

Yesterday, an event happened that has been a long time in preparation. Years, longer than any of you have been here but for all those preparations, it was only partially a success. You know me as your captor, perhaps as one responsible for programming the Wardens that keep you here and while that is true, that isn't the whole truth. You see, I've been trying to liberate you. I've worked undercover with the Dome Project for a long time in order to accomplish this and yesterday the moment of action came.

Unfortunately, I failed. I was able to steal the simulation that makes up your world, this world but I was not able to bring your physical forms with me. Don't worry - they're quite safe where they are but while you are no longer in prison, you are still imprisoned. At the moment, there's little I can do to change that without drawing the attention of the very people who wants to keep you in this dome for the rest of your lives. I don't ask for forgiveness, but perhaps patience. I do care about you deeply, dearhearts.

I'm sure this is confusing. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have, but one thing I can say right now - this is not a prison. There will be no rules, no requirements. If you need something, tell me or my colleague and it will be provided to you in due time. You are perhaps not free, but you are free to govern yourself as you see fit. I wouldn't dream of knowing how to do it better.
