[ Haruka has been promising Gon to show him her cool hobby for quite some time now. And it's finally a day ending in 1 or 4 again. So: ]

[ That's right, it's time for driving class! Haruka has dirt bikes ready for anyone who wants one, as well as a lone motocross bike she'd found in the bike shop. The engine isn't great, though. It won't take her much faster than her motor scooter, which is parked off to one side.

There's a lot of puddles on the streets and in the parks today. What better time for a lesson on hydroplaning...?

She's putting one of the dirt bikes through its paces on a grassy spot, both wheels leaving the ground on occasion as she jumps puddles. The bike is splattered. The bottom of her riding jumpsuit is splattered.

But when she takes her helmet off and shakes out her bangs, her skin and hair are still impeccable. ]

[It's going to be one of those days. Nico skirts around a layout of multicolored shapes just begging to be matched up by threes on his way to the athletic complex. Maaaybe he'll come back to that later...]

I'm going to be at the athletic center today, if you're still interested. Unless you changed your mind...? That's fine too...

[He ditches the jacket - after a while, it just gets too hot. He found a black bracelet to fit over the red band. It slips a bit when he draws his sword and begins fighting invisible foes, but no one is that observant. He's not putting a lot of effort into his attacks, his movements casual. He is waiting for someone, after all. He doesn't want to waste all his energy before they arrive.]

[Later in the day, he can be found back at the grid of shapes (think Bejeweled or Candy Crush or or or...) arranging shapes in rows of three - or more! More shapes fall into the empty spaces. It's neverending! He could do this all night...]

I’ve already explored most of the prison and it’s only been two---[pause, give him a second]-three days? It’s not as big as I thought but easy enough to get around. I also managed to find a decent fishing rod thanks to you, Yen, but it doesn’t quite have the same feeling as the one I’m use to. But it’s still better than nothing!


I wanted to ask! If I break something at Athletic Complex or anywhere else...would that count as property damage? That’s one of the reasons I got sent here so I don’t want to get in trouble. [For now anyway. He laughs sheepishly.]
If I punch too hard, I think I'll break the equipment, even if it's made for punching!

[Yen begins this message by dramatically closing a book. It is very practiced and carefully centered, the book taking up most of the frame, so it is pretty obvious she is doing it for effect.]

[She leans down into view, resting her head on her hands. She grins extra-wide, and she speaks in a force-hushed tone, as though she's giddy but sleepy and she can't tolerate her own rowdy noise. Never mind that it's noon.]

Helloooooo.

It has been brought to my attention that I have been... hm. [Directionless and forcefully pulled out of it with news of dead friends.] Unmotivated.

My fault completely; it's been a culture shock. What's a certified, seasoned adventurer to do, when there's nowhere to explore, no monsters to slay, no bandit-filled roads through which I must escort merchants?

I'll tell you what I've decided to do: everything.

[Yen twines her fingers together so she can rest her chin on that, but it is not as smooth a gesture as she's hoping, and she has to wriggle around to sit straight again.]

Need you a volunteer for an organization or event? I'm your woman. Shall I teach a seminar or class? I'm prepared. Looking for a helping hand around your shop, to run your errands, or to clean your home? It's me.

You need only call Yen Quryoja. [She twitches a thumb to try and indicate herself, but she's still leaning on her twined fingers, so it may not exactly look right.]

No task too grand or too menial! I've expertise in everything from transporting manure, to dealing with gods, to massaging strange old men with salamander oil.

[There are some random beeps and clicks as he continues to fiddle with the device curiously. He wasn’t completely horrible with technology but it definitely wasn’t his thing. But with his cell phone gone, he'd have to make due. Still, it was a bit unnerving since the device looked so expensive! He didn't have money to pay for it, if it broke!
Luckily the video finally clicks on reveling the devices new owner. A fairly young looking spiky haired boy is blinking at the screen, looking pretty baffled but overall unusually calm about the greeting and waking up in some prison.]

But really impressed you managed to get when I was sleeping though. [An amused chuckle escapes his lips, smile ever present.] Heheh~ You must be pretty strong!! Whoever you are, Warden, I’d really like to have a match with you sometime!

[His smile grows and becomes a big eager grin. If his appearance wasn't enough, his voice brimming with confidence and excitement. This was different from his boring day-to-day routine. Ever since the lost of his Nen...--well no use in lingering on that! Prison or not, it was clear the young boy was ready to make the most of his stay. It could be fun! It was going to be fun!]
