Hi, everyone! I've been pretty quiet lately, but I've had my hands full with a few different projects, so please forgive me for that. [ Subaru is still quite enthusiastic, despite starting her broadcast with an apology. ]

I'm making this broadcast because I wanted to say that some of that work was in preparation for tomorrow's class. Those who are on the Defense Force already know about it — [ Because she would have stopped everyone she knew to be on the DF to see if they were interested! ] —but the Emergency Management seminars are open to everyone, and not just us. In fact, I encourage everyone to attend at least one session, even if you're new!

The whole point is to keep everyone safer and get ready in case any emergency situation arises. An accident at the beach, an injury while working with tools, a sudden fire or flood... things like that. [ Her expression calms a bit, because she wants to look reassuring. ] I'm not saying that bad things will happen, but I won't say it's out of the question. The domes — this one and the last — both had their share of incidents and I want to better prepare everyone for as many possibilities as I can think of.

[ She puts a hand to the back of her head. ] Eheh, I guess fire drills will be more difficult to arrange now... maybe I should organize them per sector...?

[ The purple-haired woman cut off her own train of thought and bowed her head. ] Thank you for listening. The class itself is tomorrow, so I hope to see a bunch of you there!

[ Welcome to Sector 5, home of the hospital, non-denominational prayer facility, memorial gardens, graveyard and, more importantly, the museum.

Today, the wardens are treating you to a special exhibit titled "The History of Self-Stimulation Through Mechanical Seismic Activity" where you can partake in such wonderful displays such as "Hand Cranked — A Guide to Historical Devices" (complete with vintage ads such as Aids That Every Woman Appreciates and Vibration is Life ) and "Bullets and Probes — Vibrations from a Universal Perspective" that feature devices from many different worlds.

Feel free to gawk at these colorful and sometimes frightening displays, peruse the gift shop (of course there's a gift shop!) or maybe just wander the rest of the Sector! ]

(ooc: Thread can take place at any time of the day, anywhere in Sector 5! Remember the rain and needless to say, those links are NSFW to varying degrees! )

[So, it turns out that the museum has a gift shop!]

[And it is full of the cacophony of vibrating devices turned on high and set free to wander throughout the shop.]

[Cain just happens to be in Sector 5 at the same time. He's walking along with the air of perfect nonchalance, accompanied only by his dog.]

[Who now has a vibrating chew toy.]

[Yesterday, Kitty set up team captains who set up teams to explore the various sectors of their new prison home. It's a time for research and possibly dealing with threats. Maybe even encountering confused new arrivals. Not to mention team togetherness since sometimes it was hard to get to know your fellow defense force members. Not to mention not all these people were once members.]

(OOC: I say Day 175, but if you want to use this for Day 174 or even 176 I won't tell the temporal police. There are headers for each team. Use them or not as you see fit! ANYONE is welcome to try to encounter DF members to ask questions, pick fights, or try to arrange slumber parties. Whatever you're into.

[At first, one might assume PM sounds perfectly calm. But if the listener has a good ear, they may pick up that it is that razor-thin sort of calm that comes from being in a lot of pain, and possibly shock.]

Greetings. This is PM. We have a post office again. [A pause.] It is in Sector 2, but it will not be ready for business until tomorrow.

[There's another pause.] Does anyone know where the hospital is located?

[Thirianna speaks up over the network again, her voice carrying some strange reverb effect as she uses her talents as a farseer to scry upon Marina Nova.]

Fate is tangled and clouded to my sight in this place as well - divination is a trying experience. It does not help that there seem to exist various places in this dome that are... resistant to my talents.

However, though I cannot see into the future as of now, I can feel other presences in this facility with us. Something lives, and moves, in sector 6.

[There's a very small white fuzzy animal wearing a tiny orange jumpsuit on your communicators now.]

[His location is obscured by very carefully-chosen lighting and placement.] Ah-ha, it looks like a lot of things have changed!

Based on the nature of today's commotion, it seems like some of you have been here for a while. Meaning that I've been gone! Will anyone tell me what I've missed since Sentience's reinstatement?

[QB shifts his weight so that he can scratch behind his ears with a hindpaw.] And please don't waste your time with banal questions. I am not a cat or a rabbit.

[ Why the long faces, People of Marina Nova? There is someone here who isn't as happy with this latest change in events but she was determined to do what she does best. Not only that, she is hoping that this would get the anger and frustration out of her system.

The feeds start with a shaky view of the stage. It was the stage from the amphi-theatre. Moments later, Sheryl comes out and wearing an all too sexy bunny outfit. She turns to the camera and gives a coquettish smile and wink ... but when the camera gave another shake again, she frowned at the person behind the camera. ]

[ Her Galaxy Fairy persona returned though as music began to play and she proceeded to dance. ]

It is strange that the threads would be so entangled for something like this.

I shall look into the skein again - We may be able to learn something about this new... facility.

For your information, I do not feel the presence of the ruinous powers here, either. This may be owing to the interference of this anklet, but I doubt it.

[ While outwardly calm, Sasha is pretty much pumped on adrenaline as she goes through the new Dome. She figured she would concentrate looking through Sector 0, but upon realizing the daunting amount of personal rebuilding she has to do, she figures she might just look for some kind of anchor -- some kind of home.

Thus she wanders through the Sector 2 apartments, just so she can leave her belongings somewhere safe and that she would have free hands. She keeps an eye open to anyone she can bump into: old faces for her own relief, and new ones she might be able to help... ]
