Day 435 - Morning Greeting
Good morning, residents.

I hope you enjoyed the experience yesterday, though I'm sure you have a whole slew of complaints. My door is always open. [ Mary is getting mildly sick of playing Customer Support, which is saying a lot. This was easier with an AI. This would be easier if you were all just a box of USB sticks. ]

If you're feeling sore, I suggest taking a trip to the spa for a hot stone massage and a soak. We'll be serving fruity beverages all day, complimentary of your hardworking caretakers.

[You know, it's still really weird to have all these limbs but he's getting used to it. Sporting a button down and snazzy bow-tie today, Jaden's humanoid observation skills having determined it to be a 'most common' garment pairing. A little uncomfortable but hey, so's having skin.]

I can understand the reasoning and logic behind it, but hot stones just don't sound that appealing.

	Oh yes, that has always been a problem. [ She sighs. ] I was under the impression that humans in particular were especially adaptable to their environments, but so far I've only gotten an earful of complaining over the smallest changes. 	I have. I was thinking of taking her up on it tomorrow. I can make time, leave the render I was working on running while I'm busy. Speaking of which, you know... they're enacting some new safety protocols because of us. And I'm not sure what else, they haven't filtered it down to my level yet. But I've got my eyes and ears open. No, I don't think so. When they start handing me patches to put into play with for ████, I'll be able to better decipher just what they're going for. I think it's primarily to keep any of us from running away with code [he wryly smiles] like a certain someone. But I don't have the best feeling right now. They don't just skim the surface with their probes. They go deep.

Well, I'm hearing it through Cisco and a few casual observers but she went through the wringer in an investigation into your dome. At first they accused her of being an accessory to your theft, but then it became more of simple suggestion that she's unfit for her position if she never caught on to what was happening until it was too late. The internal review is still going on but that's a hard tarnish to her record, so... demoted.

I don't even think she gets to be around lesser life forms, it's a strict desk job.
