I hope you enjoyed the photo exhibit yesterday. If it was to your liking, we may be persuaded to do it again sometime, resources permitting.

For today, I've arranged an exhibit in the museum for you. I've come to understand that some of you are longing for more familiar technology- [ By pretending to understand hers. ] -and so for this day only, you'll be able to find a variety of machines, gadgets and inventions from Earth time past.

[Shiro is so amused by this, he has to share. So he contacts the other three paladins. Hopefully, they will find this amusing as well]

[ what shows up first is a blurry image, more a smudge then anything else. then lance moves his thumb, and a clearer shot of his face can be seen as he peers down at the phone in his hands, looking equal parts befuddled and wary. nothing against all of this, of course, but when he'd been pondering the sudden and strange disappearance of his official-unofficial leader in one second, only to suddenly find himself here (wherever here is) the next... he kind of has to wonder, okay. ]

Look, uh. I appreciate the apology and all — [ though to be honest "inconvenience" is downplaying it just a bit, isn't it? ] — but I don't really have time for this. [ whatever this is. ]

If this is another wormhole problem, just tell me where the teledove lenses are and I'll grab 'em all up, no problem!

[Things were definitely getting crowded in here. With Pidge's arrival and Shadow now hanging out with Shiro, Keith came to the conclusion that a small, one-bedroom efficiency apartment wasn't the best idea anymore.

Before anyone could leave this morning, he gathered them up in the living room.]

I think it's time we moved to one of the bigger apartments.

[It took Shiro a day or so to get himself together enough that he could think about speaking to someone intentionally. Sure he'd talk to Keith and Shadow when he happened to land outside their apartment, but really no one else.

There was someone that he needed to contact first before anything else though. So he decided to reach out to the teen who had stopped him from attacking Keith during the nightmare]

Nico, I wanted to thank you for intervening a few days ago. I also owe you an explanation.

[Shiro sighed leaning against the exterior wall of the hospital, not able to bring himself to go inside once more. He also couldn't bring himself to go home either. So he was just going to stand there outside the door of hospital with his arms crossed, staring at the ground.

How could he have done that? No, really, how? He had gotten so completely lost that he hadn't even recognized Keith anymore and he had attacked him. Now that he had his senses back, the moment where he had sliced open Keith's arm kept replaying in his mind. Another thing to add to list of terrible things he'd done.

The realness of the nightmare seemed to be sitting just behind him. The sounds, the voices, everything had been from the world he'd thought he'd escaped from. Even if he was no longer in that world, there really was no escaping from it.

The sound of the medical center's door opening finally did get him to look at the door]

[An odd looking face appears on screen, something like a lion mixed with a human, a reduced snout, green eyes, and Ash grey fur. Under all that fuzz, there's an almost cub like quality to his face denoting youthfulness, and the mane stop his head, adolescence. He has cut off the collar and sleeves of the jump suit for the being.

His eyes flick to the screen briefly and his brows knit somewhat.]

Oh. That’s on record, in’it? It is. Um. Uh. Hi. Hello. I’m Shadow and --

[He clams up, not really sure what to say lest it come off as awkward, since this really was awkward. He also seems a bit jumpy, as a sentinel moves behind him, spooking him. He scurries off to a tree and hides behind it, but appears to have one of those deep fried macaroni things to snack on.]

Them droid things are a menace, but only cos I got a power suppressor thing on. How do you get these things off?

Also, I wanna know if my dad is here. Or isn't he? Anyone seen a guy with robot legs and an eyepatch? He's also like a pirate and he's way more a crook than me. This place must be filled with villains and crooks. [He offers a sheepish smile, as he finds this entire thing to be strange and foreign to him. He exhales softly and fiddles with the device before the feed goes dark.]

Action
The clothes were garish, and he usually didn't care about how his clothes looked as long as he had them. He cut through the top half of his jump suit and ditched it, leaving him clothed in only orange pants with part of the suit tied around his waist to keep them from falling off. He'd torn off the pants below his heels as well so he had mobility. So now he was running on all fours through the district, trying to see what the full range of the power restrictions were. He'd jump and climb on anything he could reach, trying to climb to the top of buildings for a bit of parkour. They didn't seem to be restricting his more natural gifts so that was a plus.

Trouble is he isn't exactly a seasoned pro so he makes plenty of clumsy mistakes, like missing a landing and falling into a window, or falling to the ground if he doesn't catch himself.

It's either that or he's exploring a shop or two, especially if there's food involved.

[It was dark, silence broken only by the sound of footsteps echoing down the corridor outside. This… this couldn’t right. There was no way this could be right. This part of his life was over.

Finally, a door opened] 117-9875, get up

[This wasn’t right! But as Shiro attempted get out of the flashback he was seeing… it never came. He was still staring at the Galra drone standing in the door no matter how hard he tried. The sounds around him were of the Galra prison and even the clothes he wore were the same as the prison.

And with absolutely nothing to ground him, Shiro lost himself. He was right back there]

On your feet. It’s your turn to fight again.

Not this time!

[As he leapt to his feet, the drone tried to shoot at him. He managed to avoid it, his hand activated and he attacked the drone, going passed it and out into the hall. There were more Galra drones there, all ready to shoot.

He had no option at this point. If he lost, he’d be as good as dead or would wish he was. He had to make it out]

[ooc: Shiro is quite literally armed and dangerous. He’ll most likely see someone as a threat. His hand generates high energy emission for attacks. Let me know if you want the hand to be active if your character wants to fight Shiro – can have actually be active or he can just think it is]

So, uh... normally, I'd have a welcome reception tonight, but... Well.

[She shifted the video to show that she was floating a good two feet off the floor.]

I seem to be having some trouble getting around, so sorry about that. We can do it tomorrow, okay?

[So, delivering the one welcome basket he had today was really interesting. The fact that he was basically in a zero-G environment didn't help. He was just... floating around the dome here. Anyone want to help bring him down?]

What was the worst way to go from sitting in your robot lion, flying through a wormhole, ready to fight the being that had attempted to steal your lion, had been the one ultimately responsible for being captured on a mission to Kerberos?

Suddenly being in the water of course.

This was the lovely introduction Shiro had to Marina, finding himself suddenly in the water. It took him a moment to process what had happened before practically launching himself out of the water, finding himself standing on the beach? Where in the name of all things holy was he? ... And how did he end up in that awful looking jumpsuit? No one would every pick such a thing to wear.

It was while he was wading out of the water that he full processed the communicator, the welcome message displayed. As he read it, he had to sit back down. First instinct reacted unconsciously to "prison". Brief flashes from the Galra prison danced across his vision for a moment before he pressed one hand to his forehead, forcing them back.

That list of absurd "crimes" almost instantly became the least important priority. Where was the black lion? Where were the other paladins? Had he really just been separated them right before they were supposed to fight Zarkon?! There was no way that they could assemble Voltron without him! This stupid place had pretty much killed the other paladins, Allura, Coran, all of them!

His hands tightened into fists as he glared angrily at the wall of water on the other side of the dome. Then with his metal arm, he punched the ground as hard as he could.

[It takes a bit before Shiro has collected himself in order to use the communicator, but this was very important. There's a concerned look on his face as he speaks]

So it seems that I have just arrived. I do have a few questions if someone can help me. I'm trying to find someone. Actually several people. Does anyone know if it is possible to figure out where they are?

Alternatively, is there any possible way to find out something that is going on back home? I need to know something that was going on back home.
