Laurel was disorientated, she work up in a strange place in a hospital gown with a cellphone in her hand when she assumed she had died. She still had scars of her wounds and they weren't hurting. It didn't make sense, Laurel wondered if perhaps she was drugged or if maybe this was heaven?

She felt so out of place as she looked around, this didn't make sense, She started to walk, a hand was clamping the back of her gown together. The smell of coffee caught her attention, so she followed her nose and saw the street food stands! She didn't have any money, she wasn't sure what to even do, so she stood there a moment, trying to figure this all out.

Most of the Day

Piper could be found in the memorial garden surrounded by tombstones. They each had a different name, but most of them said "Halliwell". There were at least five, Prudence, Phoebe, Penelope, Patricia, Wyatt. There were others... Leo Wyatt, Paige Matthews... and she seemed trapped there, unable to leave.

Evening

Piper had finally gotten away from the garden, but now she was in her restaurant, with a young man. She seemed to be pleading with him for forgiveness. Some people may see him, some may not. Behind her, also potentially invisible, was a playpen with a small child.

So, uh... normally, I'd have a welcome reception tonight, but... Well.

[She shifted the video to show that she was floating a good two feet off the floor.]

I seem to be having some trouble getting around, so sorry about that. We can do it tomorrow, okay?

What was the worst way to go from sitting in your robot lion, flying through a wormhole, ready to fight the being that had attempted to steal your lion, had been the one ultimately responsible for being captured on a mission to Kerberos?

Suddenly being in the water of course.

This was the lovely introduction Shiro had to Marina, finding himself suddenly in the water. It took him a moment to process what had happened before practically launching himself out of the water, finding himself standing on the beach? Where in the name of all things holy was he? ... And how did he end up in that awful looking jumpsuit? No one would every pick such a thing to wear.

It was while he was wading out of the water that he full processed the communicator, the welcome message displayed. As he read it, he had to sit back down. First instinct reacted unconsciously to "prison". Brief flashes from the Galra prison danced across his vision for a moment before he pressed one hand to his forehead, forcing them back.

That list of absurd "crimes" almost instantly became the least important priority. Where was the black lion? Where were the other paladins? Had he really just been separated them right before they were supposed to fight Zarkon?! There was no way that they could assemble Voltron without him! This stupid place had pretty much killed the other paladins, Allura, Coran, all of them!

His hands tightened into fists as he glared angrily at the wall of water on the other side of the dome. Then with his metal arm, he punched the ground as hard as he could.

[It takes a bit before Shiro has collected himself in order to use the communicator, but this was very important. There's a concerned look on his face as he speaks]

So it seems that I have just arrived. I do have a few questions if someone can help me. I'm trying to find someone. Actually several people. Does anyone know if it is possible to figure out where they are?

Alternatively, is there any possible way to find out something that is going on back home? I need to know something that was going on back home.

[Piper was out getting ingredients and supplies for tonight's party. She could be found at the library looking up recipes, and then at the store buying ingredients before heading back to the Sizzle & Sear.]

[The decorations were kept to a minimum, but Piper was hoping to go for the 'Welcome, we're in this together' kind of idea. Just something to help comfort rattled nerves because arriving in Marina was always a bit of a shock.]

[ So this Bihari cuisine. Of course he has to try it. And he's instantly drawn in just from the smell of it, he loves this kind of food.

Once he tries it he's even more in love. ]

I wonder how these are made. [ He can probably figure it out, and today he only has one class to attend so unless anything comes up at the post office, he should have time to pick up on some stuff, but sadly not all of it. ] It's such a shame this will only be available today. I wonder if they'd be willing to teach me.

[Lyle is seen sitting at his table, the communicator likely being held by one of his haros. In his hand was a piece of paper of some sort. He doesn't look at all happy]

I love how this place wants to keep making me relive this... over and over again.

[Now he turns the paper to the camera. It's a picture of himself with a lavender haired woman standing next to each. They are wearing similar uniforms, his in green compared to hers in more of a red. The picture seems very mundane, but clearly his reaction to it means there is more]

Yep. Yet again another reminder. Well... thank you... for that.

He turns the picture back to himself and stares at it for a moment. Then he starts to reach for something that's in his shirt pocket. It's then he remembers the communicator is still rolling]

[ She doesn't want to get rusty so every day, she practices her magic. She knows that it's been somewhat dimmed so she doesn't want want to lose even more power. If she needed to use them for something important and she couldn't use them because she had not been training, then that would be bad.

So she practices her sky and wind magic, but things are not going as they should. Things are going very confusing today as a matter of fact, because the wind either bends weirdly, like doing a u turn to blow her off her feet, the wind accidentally sending her flying up into the air - at least she manages to cushion the landings sometimes, a little - the wind sometimes turning sharply to knock someone else over. If that happens she's quick to shout out an ] I'm sorry!

[ And sometimes the wind changes into another element entirely, and she is shocked every time.

For example, why is that spot suddenly on fire? ]

Aah, no, why!?

[ She's definitely a bit teary-eyed and panicky. ]

[ In the end it's best to just stop trying to use her magic. She drifts between places that sells sweet food. It's easy to find her with her head dropped onto a table surface where she sits. She's definitely a sad one today. ]

For those that don't know, my name is Lyle Dylandy. So I'm sure that most people here are aware that Euphemia is no longer here. I know that she will be missed by many.

For those who don't know, one of the things she did was to create Marina Academy. This is an educational experience designed to offer a wide range of academic options for those here.

At least for the time being, I have asked to take over running the academy. I'd be happy to answer questions that students and teachers may have.

So, hi. I see we have an extra day of newbies this time. Well, I'm a little short-handed again as my... bartender... [Her expression flickered at that, but she pushes on.] has recently disappeared, but I'm hosting the semi-traditional day-after-arrival-day comfort food party at the Sizzle & Sear. So, if you're not up for beach barbecue, I can offer things like mac & cheese, or whatever it is you consider comfort food back home.

[After she closes the feed, she goes about prepping as best she can, now without both a hostess and a bartender. Back to going it alone. It wasn't the work that bothered her. It was the sadness at losing two good friends...

As people come in, she greets them, seats them, and then proceeds to handle the rest of the evening pretty well on her own. She has bots to help with some of the service and cooking, as well as the bartending. It's not the same as having a real person do it, though, and she might seem a little melancholy or maybe a little resentful of those mechanical helpers.]

[The video opens facing a seemingly random direction before turning back to a blond teenager, turning the communicator like he's not sure what to do with it. To the untrained observer, they might think that this kid needs to be in the medical wing: pale to the point of being nearly white, sunken cheeks, and dark shading around the eyes.

However, he didn't seem to have the problem of the orange jumpsuits, currently wearing a white long sleeve shirt with a patch of dark brown fabric at the shoulder.

After a few minutes of examining the device he grumbles to himself, frowning]

I don't have time for this. I have to get back to Paedar. You open one stupid door in an abandoned city and this is what you get.

I'm sure Qin would know what happened... Of course he's not here when I need him to be.

[Erebos has found himself in front of the eating establishments in Sector 2, moving to stand in front of different ones as he surveyed them. Was he hungry? Not particularly, but as he yet to find a way out of the place he had found himself in. He might as well get a lay of the land and some of the other places seemed... too bright for his taste.

Besides Paedar would want him to eat....

In theory, he might attract less attention in a restaurant.

In practice, he hadn't actually gone inside any of them. He was just staring at them]

[Piper wasn't going to give her location away by talking through that communicator thing. No way. In fact, she left it behind. So, if anyone approached her and didn't speak English, it was highly unlikely she would understand. Instead, she was stalking about, searching for something. A way out? A particular person? Either way, she looked ready for a fight, and her more battle-ready outfit suggested the same thing. It wasn't something she would normally wear.]

[How one girl can be so oblivious to the fact she was recording the whole time she was walking through the dome in understandable, when one takes into account she's a demigod. Hazel had put on the communicator and accidentally flipped the video switch before she started walking.]

Frank! Piper? Where are you guys?

[She found herself standing in the middle of the park, looking around.]
