[Carl had woken to everything in his apartment being normal and quiet. But as he finished with breakfast, there was an oddly familiar sound outside. Scraping, clawing, an odd sound that sounded somewhere between a gasp, moan, and cry. Even just hearing the sound made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.

Walkers.

How could he have really thought that this place would be safe? What a fool was he? How stupid could he have been?

He ran immediately to his kitchen cabinet, tearing them open and grabbing for the kitchen knives that he had hidden just for this reason. As he pulled them out, he noticed walkers now filtering into the apartment. He couldn’t be trapped in there! He’d never be able to beat them. So as he raced for the hallway, slashing at the walkers, just trying to get out of the apartment.

They were everywhere. There was nowhere to go! He’d have to fight his way out]

Hello...

Uh... Nico and I are inviting all the teenagers to a game night on day 420. No! Day 421. Sorry. The days are messed up. So day 421 is game night. In the clocktower estates. Room [insert room here]. We'll have lots of board games, but if there's something you really like, please bring it. There will be food and drinks.

[Carl knows fully that he has been stricken with the rhyming bug today, but really what is the harm of it. It's weird yes, but its far less dangerous than what he's seen. He's more curious how far this will go than anything else]

[Okay, so she still feels a little awkward about the whole kissing thing, but Chuck had suggested activities. Bowling was an easy one, and now that she had stupidly joined the baseball team, perhaps they could practice throwing a ball or something.]

Since getting back to the dome, Sarah had doubled down on her mural. She hadn't left the apartment much, though today it was rather necessary when she realized she was out of a very specific blue she needed to mix the proper color. She left the apartment unaware of the various paint smudges on her forehead and near her ears. There was a particularly lovely splotch on her chin when she stopped to think about something. Sarah never was a neat artist.

Happy Day 365, Marina Nova!

Hear ye, hear ye! Inmates, prisoners, fellow underwater dwellers! Lend me your ears and hands and actually just bring all of you because we're having a ye olde Renaissance Faire to celebrate a full year in this bubble under the sea!

The dome has of course been decked out appropriately. Flickering torches light the pathways, interspersed with larger bonfires that you can cosy up to with that special someone - or perhaps just a glass of honey mead. Pennant banners hang across the gates and along the buildings, sporting the proud coat of arms of the prison (a lot of purple and octopi, for some reason) and many of the clothing stores offer time-appropriate options for those of you who still knows how to have fun. The kiosk has even been re-imagined into a castle.

Many areas within the dome has activities to partake in and, if you're skilled or lucky or both, prizes to win!

The time has come! All of the stars have aligned at it is...

Superhero Party in Quatro Park! Some decorations have been put up, mostly appearing to be comic book action words like 'BLAM!' and 'POW!'. There is a table for food with picnic-ish style fare. A few placards for the food are mildly punny for another who has read comic books. Another table is set up for make your own masks for those that weren't prepared. There are a few games out, but periodically Carl will host the foam sword "battles" set to music that is not fitting for a sword fight just for amusement value.

Anyone can come to the party even if they just want to be themselves and not pretend to be a superhero.

[The video opens with Carl trying to adjust his communicator, having it the button a little too early. He's not in his apartment; anyone paying that much attention will likely see that he is sitting in one of the parks. Can't have anyone seeing where he lives right? But after a moment he spokes]

Hey, everyone.

I just wanted to let you know that Euphie and I throwing a superhero costume party on Day 361. So come dressed as your favorite superhero or you can make something up, like 'Super Pickle' or whatever. Any of your secret identities.

Or if you want to come dressed as yourself and have some food, that's cool too.

It will be held in Quatro Park around lunch time and go until whenever.

Twas the day after Newbie Day, when down by the beach in the dome--

Stockings and other decorations were hung alongside jack-o-lanterns, baskets full of colored eggs, boxes of heart-shaped candies, and other things. The only creature that seemed to be stirring in this early morning hour was Quinn Fabray, who took it upon herself to see to a good bulk of the set up. Tables and chairs were set up alongside a makeshift stage and dance floor, with bright orange extension chords stretched out across the sand to give life to the lights, music, and karaoke machine. Games, should anyone want to play them, were set up to the immediate right of the food tables.

Don't be late! The Holiday Mash-Up starts promptly at 5PM. Bring your dates, wear your gowns and costumes, and celebrate all those holidays from home.

Um... I'm sorry to anyone who was worried for me yesterday. It seems I'm back now. Thouh I'm not sure how I'm supposed to run laps if I barely have control over my legs.

PRIVATE TO IANTO AND CHUCK

So... I don't actually know you Ianto... but I was... I guess... sort of wondering how... ... what coming back was like. And... I'm not entirely sure what I'm asking. I just... didn't expect this to happen.

[Sarah is soaking wet and clearly sitting on her kitchen counter. She looks more than a little alarmed, and is clearly trying to keep her voice calm.]

Um... so I was reading and didn't realize how bad it was raining... but um...

I'm trapped in my apartment and the water keeps rising. And I don't know what to do.

[OOC: Just so everyone is aware, Sarah is not going to survive the flooding. She'll be back in one IC day though!]

[ The Wardens would mess with everybody on the day of Haruka's driving class. This makes teaching motorbikes rather complicated, as Haruka is currently leaving a trail of roses sprouting in her wake everywhere she goes. She'd hoped that if she took her feet off the ground it'd stop, but it doesn't seem to be bound to commonsense measures like that.

So come along, anyone interested in motor scooters! Bring yourself however you are. Just don't drive directly behind the teacher. That would turn into a lesson on emergency evasion fast. ]

[Anyone living next door to Carol, or on her floor, or maybe even in her building, might have heard the scream. She stared at her face in the bathroom mirror, and then collapsed. When had she died? How long…? Her skin was mottled and rotting. Her eyes were sunken in, and her lips pulled back. She hardly recognized her own face. She was a walker.

How she still had thoughts and could still fumble with her headset, she didn’t know. Maybe she wasn't all the way gone yet. She was too shaken to bother with privacy settings.]

Carl … can you get a gun? A knife. Anything. Get to my apartment as fast as you can.

Hey! So there's a class now for sewing and knitting and stuff and if you wanna learn how to do that kinda shit you should, I dunno, come to it or whatever.

[He's perched on top of a desk in the Education Center's Home Economics room, stress knitting a scarf. This is starting to feel like a stupid idea and he's kind of hoping no one will show up but if they do they'll find the classroom well supplied with yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks, not to mention fabric, thread and needles, even sewing machines.]
