Day 436 - Morning Greeting
Hello inmates, welcome to Day 436. Looking back into some of the results of the therapy sessions within the dome, we've examined that many people struggle with conveying thoughts through verbal speech. Looking for ways to remedy this, we have made today a hands-on project.

Present within the shops today are a selection of cakes with a variety of messages from the mundane to the deeply insightful. We hope that you feel inclined to select a cake and choose a recipient for it, to whom you can deliver it personally or have one of our drones drop it off. They will be within the dome for the extent of today for this purpose before retiring come tomorrow.

Should you not find the wording for your heartfelt messages existing, there are stations in Sector 0 where you can freely create your own designs to be distributed at your leisure. We hope you have some fun with this.

Oh, and Ms. Smoak? If you have a moment, I thought we could catch that bite to eat. My schedule's open for the afternoon.

[And precisely at noon, Jaden will be there as promised. Wandering in from just off screen, as if his presence had been there longer than it really had. For the occasion he's dressed in his usual flair of business casual. If there's one thing he'd learned before coming to work in Marina Nova it was that creatures of many types always ended up focusing on self image and reading into it. It takes a little getting used to in his case, but attention is duly paid.

[Felicity can't help jumping a little at the abruptness of Jaden's arrival. Sure she understand that this is a digital creation and that really, he could insert an avatar of himself in wherever he wants and now that they know about it he doesn't have to be subtle about it. It's just that there's a sense of reality to the whole thing all over again when it happens like that.

For a being who claims to not know much about humans he certainly has a way with human fashion. On Felicity's end she's wearing a gin-gum sheath dress and heels. She offer him a bright smile. It's nice seeing him in the digital; even if it does make her all the more curious as to what he actually looks like. Still, there's something to be said for the avatar you create for yourself.]

Best not to leave company waiting. [Were he to have been late it would've had to be intentional, something he wouldn't have seen much point in. Time is a valuable resource and truth be told, he has genuine interest in interacting with Felicity today. It's also just nice to observe the scenery of the setting you help create and monitor from a new view every now and then. He hopes that maybe there'll be some sort of insight from this excursion that can perhaps help him perfect it a little more.]

"Lunch with a friend always makes a day better. Not that it wasn't already going good or anything. You? Also, where do you want to eat?" It's surprisingly easy to fall into casual with Jaden. Even with the rocky start, which seems her MO with everyone, she's gotten to really like him. He's a good guy, or alien person. He might not even be a he really, she doesn't know.

If you don't mind walking we could go the the boardwalk. The computer's great. A bit underwhelmed with being used for Solitaire and typing, but it can't be helped.

[It's not even a dig for information. She knows she isn't going to get any and he won't let her help in any way. Of course, that doesn't mean she won't still be trying to figure things out on her own. She's just, not going to confide that to him.]
