[ when the video comes into focus zed is frowning at the camera, her brows furrowed slightly. she's felt off since she's arrived. her senses were off... disconnected. she's determined though, to figure out what's happening, to connect.

she doesn't like the idea of making this video. the idea of doing something so public makes her uncomfortable. what if someone from her father's cult sees her? she doesn't know if she trusts people or this place enough to put herself out there. it's a risk but what does she have to loose? if this is a prison, what could they do to her? ]

[ there is another pause. her expression softens slightly. the determination is still there but she looks tired. almost resigned. zed isn't the type to give up easily. she always keeps going, keeps running, keeps doing what needs to be done. but this, this might be the tipping point. ]

Hello everyone. My name is James Tiberius Kirk - but just feel free to call me Jim. I'm going to be your new self-defense teacher at the Academy. In two days I will be holding the first of my classes aimed at beginners. That is, anyone who wants to learn the basics of self-defense. Anyone of any level is encouraged to stop by, but just know this particular class won't be challenging for those of you with a lot more experience.

If you're looking for a sparring partner, I'm more than happy to arrange private sessions.

The first session for those with slightly more experience - Intermediate, you could say - will be on Day 414, and the Expert class will be on Day 416. I would like to keep those classes a bit smaller, so if you're interested let me know.

She was hoping Kanji would get here, as she was likely going to ask him to co-captain with her now that Euphie was gone, and she was also hoping they'd just get more people to show up in general...]

[ So this Bihari cuisine. Of course he has to try it. And he's instantly drawn in just from the smell of it, he loves this kind of food.

I wonder how these are made. [ He can probably figure it out, and today he only has one class to attend so unless anything comes up at the post office, he should have time to pick up on some stuff, but sadly not all of it. ] It's such a shame this will only be available today. [The video came on, and Duo was not in his usual room. It was too sparse. Since getting hurt, he'd been staying at Trowa's in one of the extra rooms. Trowa, unlike Duo, had thought ahead when picking a place to stay and had picked one with more than one bedroom in case anyone else showed up. Lucky for Duo... and Quatre, who showed up. Not that Duo wasn't considerate... he just could sometimes be a little scatterbrained.

Either way, he was here now, and looked perplexed.]

[ John is sitting... well it's probably the room of his floor. As usual he's got a cigarette in his mouth, but now he's flashing around a fancy lighter. He's got chalk with him, so Lord only knows what sort of seal or spell he is trying to perform this time to test his magic. ]

Now, living normal happy lives is all nice and dandy. For the people that lead that sort of thing. Me? I walk the darker side of life. I don't suppose any of you lot know if any places in this prison have darker corners things like to hide in.

[It's the day. It's the day! She's been working up to this since she (was seeded the idea) landed here with her heels on the ground and her heart set on love. But of course, finding your true love is far from easy and it is kind of slim pickings in jail but that's still one large step up from Hell. So Satan's daughter Jezebel has deemed today the right time to get the ball moving so she can find Mr or Mrs Right already.

The feed starts with Jezebel looking up at the camera, flashing her good angle before a toothy little grin as she brings the lens down level. She's braided her hair around her two protruding horns and even has a little dab of lipgloss on. Her apartment still isn't quite right but one of the walls behind her already has a framed picture of a kitten on it and a doily on the couch armrest.]

I was just wanting to tell you guys that today, well - tonight Lyrical's going to be a total dating hotspot for singles! So if you're looking for love you should head on down there, where there'll be some music and singing. And drinks, I guess. So you should go! [So you heard the post and you decided to drop by Lyrical, the karaoke bar, on a whim or to witness the curious spectacle. That or you just happened to walk by on the same day Satan's little daughter Jezebel's declared to be her big first chance at finding love in this tiny little wading pool under the sea. She's put up a few glittery banners and has tried to organize some sort of food set up (with as much booze as she could muster) but she's not sure how to really run this thing being wholly devoid of experience. But she's still holding out in hopes someone will show up to join her.

Otherwise it'll be a lot of lonely demon girl sitting alone. You wouldn't do that to her, would you?]

Hey uh... Obi...? Can I ask you a favor? Mind meeting me down at the Post Office for a minute?

[Duo was spending most of the day over at the Post Office today, receiving things, and all that. To the observant, they might notice a certain motorscooter to the side of the building that used to belong to Haruka. They might also notice a pair of crutches propped up against the wall behind the front counter where Duo was working.]

[ Pet Cafés are amazing, they're an innovation or something. Obi is fond of animals and he likes cats and he's encountered a cat couple at this place he went to, a red molly and a silver white tom. Watching them cuddle with each other, Obi fiddles with the little communication device, and turns it on to make a video.

Until a shaggy brown cat jumps down on him and climbs over him on its way ... somewhere, and knocks the device off. ]

There's a mountain monkey cat too?

[ The shaggy cat gives him the stinkeye. Or at least it looks like it. Obi returns the look as the turns off the video feed.

From the corner of his eye, Obi catches the sight of an elegantly amused looking blond cat settling beside him, its tail curling around its front paws. ]

And Lord Big Brother is present too. [ Because this cat sure looks regal, even if he doesn't know if it is male like King Izana. The cat watches the shaggy brown cat and the silver white tom bicker around the red molly while Obi tries to figure out if you could take pictures with it. ]

These things should come with proper instructions...

[ He turns the video feed back on once more, only briefly. So he actually makes two posts within the span of a minute or two. ]

Y'know, it's pretty fun how you can see people you know in animals, don't you think? I just met cats that reminds me of my Master and Mistress.

[ That's when the brown cat knocks the device from his eye and it hits the floor, catching the shadow of the shaggy animal momentarily. ]

[As it is, the Kiryuu-Kuran residence - now with its fifth member - consumes a rather lot of food. Meaning, even though Zero stops by both the convenience store and Bull's Eye often enough, there's always a reason to go. Maybe even more so when they have Mika and Yuu over. He doesn't mind it, though; cooking for others is something he's come to like. He looks forward to doing so with both Ai and Ren.

. . .and speaking of the two, they're both with Yuuki at the moment. Of course he would've liked to join them, but he'll take on the task of preparing for the big dinner they'll be having tonight, as suggested by his son.

[It's a bit after he dropped the groceries off at the apartment. No matter how frequent he comes here, he'll never like how the "ammunition" are made of foam, of all things. Granted, he's adapted fairly well to it. So much so that he hits the target more often than not. . . a major difference compared to how flawless he is with real bullets (or arrows, at any given time). Every now and again the trajectory ends up veering off. It's nothing new, but still irksome.

Maybe he could try and add more weight to them somehow. There has to be some kind of way, while still leaving them as harmless as they already are. Regardless, he'll continue.]

[Zero has only more recently come to the rink; within maybe the past week. For whatever the reason he hadn't thought much about it. Opposed to the other sports he engages in, this is more relaxing. He glides around easily. It's been years since he last was able to, yet it seems he's a regular at it, effortless.]

[As Duo was headed back to his apartment, he spotted someone relatively new. One thing about doing the Post Office and delivering welcome baskets was that he was able to meet everyone at least once. He waved at Kirk.]

[ This is pretty much the worst case scenario and despite the reconciliation with Vanessa, Wade is feeling way too exposed here. He knows what he looks like and maybe she can get drunk enough to love an incestuous pizza face but he has a feeling he won't get as lucky with a dome full of strangers. He needs his suit, but until then he needs a temporary concealment. Back to his roots, to hoodies and balaclavas, one problem at the time.

He stealths through the dome to the best of his abilities, which isn't a lot all things considered. You can't sneak in a bright orange jumpsuit, but he gives it a damn good try, aiming for the nearest clothing store where he can cover the hell up. ]

[ Obi isn't intending to make himself known just yet. Perhaps chat to a couple people on the street, learn somethings. On the other hand, he's awfully curious about this little thing in front of his eyes.

It might be rude to sit on top of a tall big gravestone but he landed there (almost) so as he pokes at the thing that informed him that he's suddenly in prison, he stays on top of the stone, and mumbling to himself. Which is what he's still doing as he accidentally turns on the audio feed. He doesn't notice yet, though. ]
