[It felt odd to be doing so simple as bringing dinner home, but that was exactly what Dimitri was doing this evening. He had a plastic bag hanging from one of his hands, Chinese takeout, as he opened the door to the apartment he and Rose had found with the other.
Rose would no doubt hear him come in, so he didn't have to announce his presence, instead moving into the kitchen to set the bag down on the table, and beginning to pull the greasy, white cardboard containers from inside.
He glanced around, wondering what Rose had been up to in his albeit short absence. Chinese wouldn't have been his first choice, as it wasn't the healthiest of options, but he had to admit that it did smell good.]
