[ On the video screen, my friends, is a man with an interesting face and a leather jacket. He seems not at all disconcerted to be a newcomer here. Considering the prisons he's seen, this one is pretty nice. Plus, he doesn't intend to stay. ]

[ He grins in greeting. ] Hello! Nice place you've got here, considering. I'm the Doctor, and I'm looking for a blonde girl, name of Rose. Has anyone seen her? We got a bit... separated when we came here. I think. [ He looks a bit confused. He doesn't exactly remember how this came about. ]

Or if you've met my friend Jack -- and you'd know -- [ He lifts his eyebrows significantly. ] -- or seen a strange blue box around, I'd appreciate knowing. Thanks!

[ He waves goofily and turns the video off. ]

[ ooc: The Doctor is a bit of a wanderer, so action is open pretty much anywhere in the dome, or video/voice is also welcome! ]

... That's better. No offense, but I look really bad in that shade of orange.

[ When you wake up at 6am in an unfamiliar city (that is actually a prison), you have a habit of moving fast. Therefore, when the feed flickers on to show the inside of a Bull's Eye fitting room, it might be useful to note that acquiring clothing was not actually the first thing Li had done so far today. It was the second, because he was moving just that fast.

Also, because his fashion sense is apparently pretty nondescript. He probably grabbed the first pair of jeans, t-shirt, and hoodie he found. ]

It's weird. This whole thing hasn't really sunk in for me yet. I'm kind of psyched about getting to live on my own and decide what I want to do and when.

So, I'm wondering... how long does it take for homesickness to set in? I want to try to be busy that day.

Shery! Sheryl! What are you doing?! Get down from there!

[ The feed will start showing Sheryl Nome's playful and excited face. There was something else in her eyes too. And that is mischief. A lot of it. The person was shouting for her to get away from the ledge of the tallest building she could find.

Her initial purpose was to just look at the walls of their prison and admire the water. She had never seen so much water before. Not even at the Frontier, but now she found another fun reason to be up there.

Sheryl reconized Kohran's voice of course and leaned down over the ledge to look at her. Maybe she should feel guilty making her roomie so worried like that, unforunately as much as she really liked her roomate --- she was not immune to Sheryl's antics ]

If you say so, Kohran!

[ She puts her communicator down --- with a clear view of what she was about to do. With one last turn for the camera, she blows the people watching a kiss ---

--- and dived over the ledge. ]

I have to say, I’m not particularly impressed with the wardens’ fashion sense. Although I suppose if everyone’s dressed the same I can’t complain of looking the fool, since we’ll all be fools together! As stifling of individuality as that may be – but then, I suppose that’s sort of the point, if we’re in prison?

[he waves at the camera] Hello, fellow inmates! I am Loki, and I assure you I am not a foolish sort of person.

I do hope this thing is on. Otherwise I’d be talking to myself, and that really would make me look ridiculous.

[The feed abruptly comes on to a very panicked young man looking frantically at the screen, messing with buttons on the unfamiliar device in hopes of contacting the thing that greeted him.]

Hey! Wait! D-don't go! I have questions! How did I get here?! Aren't I supposed to get a trial or something!?And who puts truancy on the list next to accessory to murder and organized crime!? That's not... just... why is that even on the list at all... H-hey! A-are you listening?!

[Then there's that moment where it dawns on him he just had a very awkward sounding outburst in public. Of course. Well, he could at least say that wasn't his most humiliating public experience. He was in more than just his underwear this time. He heaved an exasperated sigh and hung his head.]

Of course your not. That's just my luck.

[He removes the device and sets it down next to him, unaware it was broadcasting to anyone but the voice that greeted him, and started rummaging through the brown bag with his belongings.]

For someone so against the mafia, they sure made this look like a seedy money drop... Ah, I'm going to be stuck in suit too... and it's all wrinkled up...

[After Jane had listened to a few other conversations over the communication headset, she decides to fumble with it enough to get a message of her own to go through.]

Hello? Is this thing on? [She has it turned to the audio setting. She had to readjust it on her ear after playing with it.]

I have a proposition to make. If I may speak with a warden here? There seems to be a mistake and I must speak to someone right away. There are lives at stake if I do not return to my place of origin right away! I must not waste a moment of time here.
