[ you can find amy exploring - as usual. she knows at some point she needs to get a job (as long as it isn't being a kiss-o-gram), but she'll worry about that later. after all she isn't convinced she'll be here long enough to need one - she will get out, somehow.

amy isn't in the best of moods today. she's grumpy, very grumpy. she's also tired. not to mention she's scottish and a ginger, so she may have a wee bit of a temper. she also isn't sure what to make of this "holiday" business - it all seems a little fishy to her. spiritual needs, were they kidding!?you may or may not want to approach with caution. ]

[ sookie can be found this fine evening wrapping up her shift at merlotte's, which consists of taking orders, cleaning off tables, and making sure all the sugar, salt, and pepper shakers are filled to the brim. later, once she's said bye to sam and the others still on the clock, she'll be making her way across sector 4 back to the clocktower estates. bother her at any point tonight! ]

[ caroline's on her device and she looks a little disheveled and not so happy. somebody had a canon update up to season four end of episode two and isn't happy about it.]

Is it normal to just wake up with just... new memories? Like things that hadn't happened to you yet but then... it's like they just...did? It's like I went home but I'm still here.

[The nigh-unhackable system in MarinaNova is by far the most frustrating thing Garcia has ever encountered. It's been bugging her for weeks, but the shame of having so little to give Hotch when he arrived was the last and final straw. Since last night she's been at the keyboard nonstop, frantic to get somewhere with this impossible system. Anywhere. Her team is depending on her and that matters more than sleep. And so, here she is at the coffee shop.]

[She had only intended to grab a few triple-shot lattes to go, but she had her laptop in tow because habits die hard, and then inspiration struck...]

[Hours later she's still there, several empty coffee cups lined up on the table where Garcia is typing with grim determination. She's murmuring to herself -- or rather, at the uncooperative code she's trying to slip past, accusations of unfair play and then something about "bagbiting" -- her fingers moving faster by the moment until she's attacking the keys like they've personally wronged her.]

[Seconds later, she slams both hands down on the table, still addressing the laptop.] You are far and away the most stubborn thing I have ever seen! Don't be so smug, I'm not done with you yet.

[Eric wakes with a start, a headache and an oddly full feeling that only comes from feeding on blood rather than the bottled stuff. Sookie is already gone for the day, which is normal but there isn't any blood staining the sheets. He's got a whole new set of memories and he's not crazy about some of them. He shuffles off to the shower and spends an inordinate amount of time in there going through the new memories. He's not terribly pleased by some of them. He's not terribly pleased by a lot of them, but the most 'recent' ones, the one featuring Russell's demise...that's one he plays over and over. Revenge is sweet and makes a Viking Vampire a cocky bastard, especially when said cocky vampire wakes up one more to find he's the oldest most powerful vampire in his world. That tickles a little in all the right places. It gives him an extra happy to know that his willpower is way more than rock solid, even more than he'd thought it could be. By the time he gets out of the shower, he's whistling. Sure, not everything back home was going according to plan. There was that perpetual pain in his ass named Bill Compton, but Eric had time to figure that one out.]

[Eric is smiling when the video comes up. Sure, it's his politician smile, but he's only got three kinds of smiles and this one is more friendly than his 'I am better than all of you. Now bow down and be my minion' smile, which is honestly the smile he wants to use. The only other option is his genuine, happy smile and very few people are ever privy to that one. He's wearing an outfit quite typical of Eric at work: black slacks and a black silk shirt, unbuttoned to the third button. He leans on the bar, a glass of synthetic blood at his elbow.]

What an extraordinary day, wouldn't you all agree? I do feel like celebrating. Come join me. [A well rehearsed chuckle.] The drinks are on me.

[ he woke up in Quattro Park. is he dead? he should be. he kind of deserves it. unlike Angel, he'll recognize the headset at least from science fiction television and he'll put it on. he'll listen to the entire message, taking in the scene around him, including a list of his crimes. his mouth will only creep up into a smile once.

so that's it. fitting, really. ]

How many of you believe you deserve to be here? I only ask because this is a prison and while our justice system imprisons those who deserve it, there are others who are resigned to their fate. They turn themselves in. It's interesting because our wardens seem to be interested in our taking responsibility for our own actions yet they give us no choice in the matter.

[Ianto looks as though this all is no more than a mild inconvenience for him, to be resolved momentarily. It’s a lie, of course, and there’s real worry in his eyes if you look for it, but he’s not going to panic just yet. Wouldn’t be the first time he’s been held hostage by aliens or robots or whatever. Might as well try and calmly get some information before working on the inevitable escape plan.]

[Jack's been here a couple of hours. He spent the first hour disbelieving and furious, but wary of letting that show too much after his initial, instinctive bout of yelling – which he didn't broadcast, although sorely tempted to, because he's been kidnapped before and he doesn't want to get in too much trouble until he knows far better what he's up against. So he kept his head down and started exploring to get the lay of the land and find out what he had to work with here.

[And then he found the beach. He'd never lost his love of the sea from growing up beside an ocean, and he was out of the horrible orange jumpsuit and into the water before he'd even thought about it. Even if the waves and the sun on his back weren't quite natural, an hour or so of vigorous swimming calmed him down a lot. Enough to make his first transmission on the network with a decent amount of composure and a fair imitation of his normal cocky grin.

[He's still naked, by the way. It's kind of lucky (or maybe not, depending on your point of view) that the video doesn't extend below the waist. Not that Jack cares what you see. He's sprawled on the beach, the waves breaking gently behind him, feeling the sun on his tanned skin, and he's smiling. After all these years of practice, it's a pretty convincing smile.]

So. MarinaNova. [He rolls the name around his mouth, trying it out.] What've we got? Any hot babes here? Or hot guys – I'm really not picky. Maybe some Italian stud who actually looks good in orange? [ the feed starts off shaky, and there are the muffled sounds of someone trying to set it up. when it finally comes into focus there is a very annoyed looking ginger on the screen. ]

[ she's not sure the "you" is exactly, but it won't stop her from saying it. she's angry, and more importantly she's confused. maybe even a little scared. why is she in a prison of all places? the last thing she remembers is being at stonehenge.

her expression changes slightly, although only someone who knows her would notice. ]
