Who: Kim and Starbuck
When: Tuesday around 1:30pm
Where: Starbuck's place
What: Kim's about to get a bomb dropped on her..
Starbuck's texts had kind of worried Kim. Sure, he had asked to her skip classes before, but this was different. He was being vague and needed to talk to her about something that couldn't be talked about over text. That was never good, was it?
As soon as he sent her one last text, she turned around and started walking toward his apartment. A hundred questions began buzzing through her mind. What did he need to talk to her about? They had only been apart for a few hours since she had left his place this morning.. what could possibly have happened between then and now?
Chewing on her bottom lip nervously, she arrived at his door and unlocked it with the key he had given her. As soon as she stepped through the door, a fresh wave of nerves hit her. Why was she feeling more uneasy all of a sudden? Kim walked over to the kitchen and sat down on a stool, setting her bag down on the kitchen counter. After taking a few deep breaths, she turned around and called out to him cautiously. "Starbuck?"
