Front Lines Communications

So I hear that operatives and founders of the Movement for Atavist Liberation are taking questions. I've got a few.

It's been nearly two months since the incident in the New York Presbyterian Emergency Room, in which I was working as a nurse. I contacted Project: Ascension when I came across a new atavist who I wasn't sure was in control of their powers, and when they arrived, the two sides clashing proceeded to destroy, blow apart, drag up floors and down the walls of my hospital.

It caused harm to my patients, it shut down our capacity for trauma for some time, and it scared the living shit out of me and countless others.

Project: Ascension, while of course putting the blame on you, came to help.

Where were you, MAL?

So. A clinic. At Greenwich. I got the okay to make one. Or, rather, to put together a proposal for how much it's going to cost to put one together - I've got to figure out some of the money part later but that's my problem.

You three are on the list because fuck if I actually know what that's actually going to entail. Between medical know-how and equipment and remodeling blueprints... well, go team go. In terms of scope we're looking at primary-care, urgent-care stuff, just, you know, preventative somethings to keep Atavists healthy without necessarily having to turn their medical records over to the government.

As the MAL keeps expanding the population of atavists, I think this may be the most important groundwork we set for the future.

Explain something to me, Project: Ascension, since you're all about helping new atavists. Why, when I contact you to let you know that there might be an atavist in my workplace who doesn't know what's going on, do you send a team that blows up my emergency room, not only inciting panic but tearing up my workplace and causing actual injury to my patients??

I believed you when you told me that what happened when you came to tell me about my ata power crazy shit was abnormal. This is unacceptable. Tell me what you're going to do about it.
