Don't forget Mothers Day is on Sunday. Make sure to avoid several months of passive aggression by remembering to send something.

On that note: what is everyone planning on doing for their mothers on Sunday? I need ideas.

It's a fact of the universe that the closer one gets to the end of school for the summer, the more and more your children transform into wild animals. They're like werewolves approaching the full moon. And they can sense fear.

Hey, sweetie. I'm sure after the above message you're just dying to spend time with our children, but It's Arthur's birthday on Friday. I'll be taking him to dinner and an overnight. Is there a chance you'd be able to do an overnight babysit? It's no problem if you're busy, I know it's your Friday night. If I need to I can ask the nanny if they'd like to do some overtime.
The nanny will start watching the kids starting at 8am on Saturday so you can make it to brunch (and bring a date) either way.

Hello, everyone. As some of you know, Arthur's birthday is on Friday. I have a standing reservation for a small surprise brunch at Má Pêche at 10 on Saturday morning. Arthur only likes a little deal to be made over him for his birthday, so no gifts at brunch, please. Gifts are fine, but privately!

Please let me know if you can or can't make it. I'll only guilt you a little bit if you can't. Forever.
