Front Lines Communications

In the wake of The Maker's statement, discussions about The Way have gotten a little [...] heated. Which is understandable; The language and imagery was certainly provocative, and that kind of thing can put people off. Or even put people on the defensive.

I understand that, because just a year ago, I probably would have felt the same way.

Well, this is a fine clusterfuck we find ourselves in.

Perhaps next time The Project and The MAL would like to throw us all to the wolves, we could get more of a 'heads up'? Taking shipping and tailoring into account, I don't think I'm going to have nearly enough time to re purpose my wardrobe for the inevitable paparazzo attacks. Luckily quite a few of my Cavalli pieces already convey an air of 'step any closer and I will hurt you', so there's that.

Thank god for Cavalli, an institution we can actually rely on in these trying times.

I see that The Project will be offering free classes to our community. Which is incredibly-- what is the word, quaint? Like being sent to summer classes at The Y so your parents stop screaming at you.

For those of you who don't wish to ferry out to Staten Island, you should know that The Way is now offering a variety of self-defence classes for all its membership. A perfect chance to seek enlightenment, learn to protect yourself, and avail yourself of our wonderful facilities at Whitehall. Any non-members who are interested, feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do to squeeze you in.

As an update to my last entry; I eventually bought them both. Of course, now I have to consider shoe options.

[The Way]

For those of you who I have yet to meet, I am Dominik Novak. A recent inductee and member of our security force.

And now, in the light of the work I have been doing whipping our Mr Mendoza into shape over this past week, it has been decided that I will be leading self-defence classes for any interested. Obviously the goal is to let each of us feel safe and secure, no matter what life may throw at us, but there will also be a focus on unlocking the potential within each of us.

Classes will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 07:00, 13:00, and 19:00 starting next week. I run a tight ship, so expect a full list of rules and a dress code to be posted closer to the start of class.

I am, of course, always available for private tuition, too. Satisfaction guaranteed.

I suppose I should actually use this network for something. So;

The Vuitton is obviously more traditional and has more utility to it, but I can't help but admire the Valentino's undeniable flair, subtle though it may be.
