My youngest and her friends crashed at my apartment I had some company over recently, and they decided to swap ghost stories. One of my guests even claimed to have seen one of the Dakota Hotel ghosts. This all eventually turned into one long symposium on UFOs, Bigfoots, and plot discussions of the three Ghostbusters movies, but it made me think. A year ago, I would have laughed if someone told me that there was an idol that could give you powers, and well, here I am, writing a post on a social network for people who have experienced just that. After everything's that happened, has your belief system changed at all? Do you think the truth is out there? Do you take things with a grain of salt? Or do you simply say, "Shelley, you've been playing the X-Files in the background while you go through your daily tasks again, haven't you?"
