In case y'all haven't seen it yet, consider the main network compromised. Anythin' you say or even hint at under filter will likely be seen by the murder cult. We've got the safehouses, and I've got a few connections to get some non-operatives outta dodge.

Just in case, we might wanna settle on some rules of engagement in the event some baselines try to start somethin' with any of you. I'd suggest not usin' your atavisms unless absolutely necessary. We didn't start this fire, but there ain't no sense in throwin' gasoline on it.

Where we at with the people who were supposed to be lookin' into the murder cult? We find anythin'? What about Leo? Dora seems to think he's still with us, so he likely ain't at Whitehall.

Hello all,

Thank you for participating in our family Thanksgiving celebration. It warms my heart that we can all come together and share our traditions and good food.

A couple days ago we were contacted by a member of Project: Ascension leadership, Nero Decorso, with a proposal on how to move forward in an alliance. This has not been seen or approved by his superiors. He has given it to us first to decide if we are going to do this, so that we may provide a united front when this is presented to the Secretary.

His proposal as as follows:

I think it's important to note that the mission of the Movement for Atavist Liberation has not and will not change. We are here to make sure that atavists are allowed to live freely. Decorso is proposing that our Movement and their Project both sit at the larger table and help plot a course for atavists moving into the future.

We will not make this decision unilaterally. It's big and if they go with Decorso's idea, it would mean turning ourselves in to receive pardons. We are open to any suggestions and questions you may have.

Onto another, equally-important topic... Leo Barone is still missing. We don't have any reason to believe he was abducted. Him being caught by the Way would not be good for us given everything he knows about us.

There is no knowing where he is or what he is planning to do. We need to change this. I'm going to need a few agents to work with me in investigating his whereabouts.

Senator Sanford has extended a deal to us as a whole.

Full pardons for all involvement in the MAL and any unlawful acts up to this point, in exchange for turning over The Mother, Leo, and three of our own to be used as scapegoats.

I have told him we will not turn over any of our ranks. And I hope you stand by that sentiment. There's no doubt in my mind that if we turned over anyone, they would never see the light of day again.

As painful as it might be to imagine turning down a normal life, where we are free to go home, I— I wouldn't purchase that life with the lives of any of you.

So I say no. Not as long as they want us to sacrifice our own.

Hey all!

Thanksgiving is a week awayand I'd like to get the menu finalized. For sides we're leaving it open so feel free to add whatever traditional dishes your family makes to share with the rest. This is potluck so everyone is contributing. If you can't cook or don't bring anything you will be put to work, either the night of or going shopping for those of us that are trying to keep a low profile.

I'm going to be doing some Puerto Rican dishes so look forward to that, those of you who weren't with us last year.

Leadership, tell me what to do.

I know we've been dealing with a lot of shit recently, but I've got a problem.

An old friend of mine got atavised, someone from back in the biker days. He's a good man, but I don't know if we should try to recruit him because, well. He gets swept in things like this and lets them fuck up his life in a lot of ways. I really can't throw stones there, I just figure he's better off being left out of all of this altogether.

But turns out one of his ex-wives works for the Project, and he's been staying with her on GI ever since he got turned. There's a whole thing there, but I've got to warn him how fucked up the Project is, right? Because even if the Project wasn't the giant dumpster fire it is right now, that place wouldn't be good for him. So what do I do?


And in news that doesn't involve my past coming back to bite me in the ass; I've been practising with my powers. Trying to learn and remember things while I'm split up and seeing if it sticks when I'm myself again, and it works. It's just been little things so far, but I want to try taking it further, so if anyone's got some spare time and a skill they'd be cool with trying to teach one of me, I'd appreciate it.

Hey, everyone. I had an idea.

So now that everyone knows atavism is genetic we should tell them that the source of atavism, the kick-starter or whatever, is stored in the Chrysler Building. Everybody wants superpowers, right? And everybody wants to have some kind of cool genetic mutation. And then people would flock to the building and there would be crowd control issues and the Project would have to handle the situation. It might not create mass chaos or anything but it would be a huge headache.

Maybe some nuances of this plan need to be figured out but that's what I've got so far. I've never really leaked any information to anyone before so I don't know if that's someone's specialty or whatever but, yeah. Thoughts...?

Unrelated question: Does atavism being genetic mean anything for us? Other than it being interesting I guess and people with family avoiding them flying here.

As you know, I've been suspecting that my sister, Sierra, is in the process of being atavized. Sierra doesn't know about Gus and me, and only knows about atavism through the news. She hasn't been sleeping well for some time and it's difficult for her to sit upright in chairs for some reason. There is some discomfort and pain in her back and there is a weird protrusion along her shoulder blades.

This morning, I think I touched the bruises there and [...] I felt something move. She has seen (baseline) doctors and she's told me that she will be getting a biopsy at the end of the month. I can't think of a reason to stop her.

We have a problem. There was an incident with Shep at Mount Sinai Hospital. Giselle and I got him out, but he was using his powers. He was trying to help patients, but he got into an altercation with a security guard. He seemed out of control, but he's burned out now, and we don't know what happened. All of this was caught on the security cameras.

I know this is a terrible time and I’m hesitant to bring this up, but I’m being sent to Sunnyvale for an important work thing during the first week of November. I’m asking the Project if they’ll even give me leave to go, but I thought I would also give you the head’s up.

To make up for my absence (if the Project doesn’t get in the way), if there is anything I can do to help the cause while I’m out there, please let me know, whether it’s physically out there or remotely.

Also to make up for my relative silence over the past couple of weeks, if there is anything I can do to help whatever’s going on now before I leave, if I’m allowed to leave, please let me know that too. I’ve been having a hard time coping with everything, as I know we all have, and I know it’s no excuse, and I’m more than willing to do what I can now.

Well, I know the timing's god awful, and we still got a helluva lot to discuss, but I'd like to take a moment to introduce all y'all to our newest member of the Movement: Shep Beauregard. Reckon he'll be real useful here at Headquarters, what with him being a walking bottle of Advil and all.

Two things:

It has been a week now and we know very little of what may have happened to Ariel. She could be still in serious danger, or worse, not to mention that it will help us shed light on what happened to Corrine and how the safehouse was found. I am doing what I can but that is only so much. Let me know if you are interested in helping.
1) Gus? Lana? Could the two of you help search in perhaps the more traditional sense?
2) Someone should search the area around the safehouse. It's been a while, but [...] in case we find a body.
3) Is anyone close to people who may have seen her or whom she may have seen? If so, if it is possible to reach out to them without implicating yourselves, that may turn up something.
4) We should think of a way to acquire information on whether or not she's been reported as missing to the police, as well as any unidentified bodies from the last week that the authorities are in possession of. Between contacts and excuses with my company I may be able to handle this. But if someone has a better or easier way, I'm very open to ideas.

Any other methods of searching would be helpful if you think of something.

A second -- over the last couple of months Aidan and I have scouted out three new safehouses, and have acquired (in a sense, at least) them all. One is an abandoned school, a massive property, that I didn't bother to buy, as that would just draw unnecessary attention to its existence -- but we've refurbished some of the inner rooms and it will do in a pinch. The second is a half-finished cafe that we have both completed and added a small underground bunker to. I wanted to add a bathtub, but unfortunately it wasn't feasible -- thankfully for our luxuries we will have what we have lovingly deigned the Family House, a house in Hudson Valley that looks quaint but has been possibly upgraded enough to outlast nuclear winter. (Exaggeration! For clarity!) Please show your appreciation to Aidan for finding the place.

It's a little more crowded at HQ with the new additions to the fugitive lifestyle, so Jane, Mia, Rose, Jared, assuming you are interested, you can of course move to the Family House, as that was its intended purpose. I will be dropping off some new emergency documents for you all later today. Let me know if you need the house equipped with anything, or just take one of the cards and acquire it yourselves.

Keys and other instructions are ready for pickup at HQ. The cafe bunker also has biometrics installed so if you could drop by when I'm around I'll take retinal scans.
