Hello everyone! Having finally got the okay from both the Fire Dept, our insurance company, and an independent structural engineer, Greenwich House would like to invite you Volunteers to help us clean out the debris and get ready for rebuilding!

When: Sunday September 24th, 9am
Please bring: clothes you don't mind getting messed up, close-toed shoes
We will provide: gloves, masks, trashbags, lunch, drinks

I'll be down at Greenwich all Saturday; everyone is allowed to go through his/her rooms to see if anything in there can be salvaged and I'll connect up what's left of the doors so you can bring it directly back to your apartments. Please make time on Saturday -- after Sunday, I'll just be having people toss whatever they see as Insurance wrote it off as a full loss.

I guess after the a-bomb, torture and killer robots, there is no line we won't cross in the name of 'security'. No line whatsoever.

There is this thing I had hanging on my wall: all of these highway markers from California that led to the places I used to go to all the time, collaged and mounted. It's a little bit weird what you think to grab in a fire. Maybe, in those snap seconds, I just thought I could always go back and rip new ones down to remake it.

BIG THINGS
1) All of that equipment we ordered is supposed to be here Friday, so hopefully you all have time to help me get it moved into the 'Clinic Storage Room' (wherever I figure out where that will be).
2) Contractors will be here TOMORROW to start demo for the electrical upgrade and doing the mods we got from the architect!!!! I don't know what magic you wove, Violet, but that shit worked and someone backed out - that should be done on the 12th of JUNE instead of the 12th of July!!!
3) All of the computer stuff is here, Raj - I put it in the bedroom two down from yours for now.
4) WE HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE!

So. A clinic. At Greenwich. I got the okay to make one. Or, rather, to put together a proposal for how much it's going to cost to put one together - I've got to figure out some of the money part later but that's my problem.

You three are on the list because fuck if I actually know what that's actually going to entail. Between medical know-how and equipment and remodeling blueprints... well, go team go. In terms of scope we're looking at primary-care, urgent-care stuff, just, you know, preventative somethings to keep Atavists healthy without necessarily having to turn their medical records over to the government.

As the MAL keeps expanding the population of atavists, I think this may be the most important groundwork we set for the future.
