This week was the Feast of the Holy Trinity. It's not as dramatic as Pentecost last week, but drama isn't everything. It's good to reflect on how one thing can be other, distinct things, and how those things can all, themselves be part of a larger whole. I've been thinking about how it can't be a coincidence that I've spent so much time with parallax measurements lately when trigonometry is also about the relationship between three sides.

For all who can't make it home or don't have other plans for Easter dinner tomorrow evening, there will be a group meal at Greenwich House. All are welcome to attend (if you've heard of the 'Orphans Easter,' this would be it). Come whenever, leave whenever, and of course there is no requirement that you bring anything.
