Hello, this is a public service announcement to thank you for thinking Día de los Muertos is beautiful and worthy of dressing up for on Halloween, but unless you are Mexican or latinx, it is cultural appropriation to do so. No other group likes to see their culture worn as a costume, especially if you don't understand the significance of it. Día de los Muertos is not our Halloween. Our cultures are not a prop.
