Agent Barajas and myself successfully apprehended the 'skinwalker' atavist, Emmett Montgomery. We finished processing him this morning and getting him registered. Honestly, given his reactions when we found him, I would recommend counseling. At the risk of sounding flippant, he most certainly has an identity crisis.

Is an announcement needed to the atavist community at large that he's been brought in? Not my job to say

The skinwalker atavist was brought in and registered. Agent Barajas has assigned me to finish up the case paperwork thanks, Hector. I know that this involved the atavists Abe Seo, Justin Lo, and Kenichi Jones. Are there any other open cases I need to reference?

Recently, there were some cases of a rogue atavist 'stealing' the identity of several other atavists, and posing as them. The Project would like the community to know that this atavist has agreed to come in peaceably, and is cooperating with us fully. As always, if there is ever a concern about powers misuse, the Project can assist.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a crafts project for people who aren't artistic? I'm determined to do at least one, but I am apparently terrible at knitting, scrapbooking, cross-stitch and anything involving a hot glue gun.

I also have quite a lot of craft supplies to give away, if anybody would like them.

Since for Lent I have to refrain from all sweets, meat, and dairy, usually I come out of it feeling better overall, but having a five year old now is making it....interesting. This calendar pretty much saved me this year, because that kid loves counting.

I, personally, am looking forward to that first cupcake from Sweet Beans on Monday, though.

Okay, so maybe this is true.

I had a pretty nice birthday yesterday (it's always nice when it falls on a Saturday). Although I was born and raised here, my parents still expect us to do things the traditional way, so I hosted my family for dinner. Yes, in Italy you host your own birthday party and pay for everything! I copped out a little, since I took them out for pizza, but it was a nice place and I even sprung for wine.

And to anyone chiding me for not saying it was my birthday earlier, sorry, but that's also a little tradition, keeping birthdays a secret outside of your party. You're not supposed to look like you are fishing for gifts, you know!

Anyway, had a strange issue this morning. I kept making force fields when I reached for something; I knocked three mugs of coffee off my counter before I gave up drinking any. Usually I can only create them when I concentrate or I'm really stressed. Is this...do your powers accelerate over time? I'm trying to move pretty carefully today.

Okay, I need help. A friend has suggested that hipsters don't like Star Wars. I said that everyone likes Star Wars. Am I wrong? I mean, if I am wrong, I'm still going to pretend I am right, like the massive nerd that I am. We are in the Star Wars Renaissance, people.
