I was allowed to visit Dax. All things considered, he's doing good okay alright. According to him and as far as I could see, he's being treated well, and I'm waiting on another scheduled visitation.

Did anyone get caught in the subway blackout yesterday? I mean, I didn't because I have a gorgeous car and premium parking at 31 Whitehall (feel free to ask for more info about said perks), but I'm just curious. With our numbers these days, there has to be at least someone, right?

Also, a friendly reminder that no matter how long you're stuck on the subway, you should never take those subway ads for plastic surgery seriously. Those guys are all terrible at their jobs, which is why they need advertising.

I'm aging tomorrow, if you didn't already know, so I'm trying to get a headcount for how many people can make it to dinner at ROOSTER tomorrow, 8pm. I'm going to reserve a booth at Throwback for afterward, if you can't make the dinner.

I know I'm a little late with this but the 15th was the start of Hispanic Heritage Month! [Side note: we totally need to change this to Latinx Heritage Month (sorry spaniards I love you but a lot of the celebrations honor the independence of Latino American countries from Spanish rule]. It's so important that we honor all the contributions we've made to American history and culture.

So don't forget to show some love to your favorite Latinx friends and family members and favorite celebs! I'm gonna go listen to my Gloria Estefan playlist and watch a couple of episodes of One Day at a Time (which you should totally too because it's awesome).
