My parents went back home this morning, so are we officially in the clear for them having visited without being ativized, or is there the possibility that it happened and we just don't know yet? Please tell me we're in the clear, because TRUST ME, you do not want my mother showing up on the network and to your Atavist support groups.

This Wednesday, ROOSTER will be hosting an atavist networking event from 6PM - 9PM. Thanks to Alphie Sullivan and Aidan Driscoll for for setting this up and hosting (I'll just be at the bar)! Come have a few drinks, eat some great food, and get to know your fellow atavist. Maybe you'll end up with the best job of your life!

Guess what time of year it is? That's right, it's almost time for MY BIRTHDAY. No offense to Annie & Cole - I'm sure the unicorn party will be #dopeashell - but I got atavized on my birthday and even though I know I'm not the only one, it's still gonna be a fucking EVENT. Here's my idea for the weekend:

- dinner & drinks on my actual birthday (Thursday June 1st)
- rage on Friday night (start at Throwback, end up ???)
- Actually, rage on Saturday night too
- Boozy brunch

Come for everything, come for one thing, but just get excited. And before you ask, yes you WILL see the return of The JuLo (I swear I've perfected it this year, and they will be the best jello shots you've ever had).

So I hear that operatives and founders of the Movement for Atavist Liberation are taking questions. I've got a few.

It's been nearly two months since the incident in the New York Presbyterian Emergency Room, in which I was working as a nurse. I contacted Project: Ascension when I came across a new atavist who I wasn't sure was in control of their powers, and when they arrived, the two sides clashing proceeded to destroy, blow apart, drag up floors and down the walls of my hospital.

It caused harm to my patients, it shut down our capacity for trauma for some time, and it scared the living shit out of me and countless others.

Project: Ascension, while of course putting the blame on you, came to help.

Where were you, MAL?

so let me get this straight. there's The Movement for blah blah blah and Project Ascension and you guys fight over us? and the rest of you just sit around arguing all day?

Thank you to everyone who has come to the last two sessions!! It was really great to see and hear your interest, so again, if there's anything you'd like me to teach you, let me know. This week, I'll be introducing proper suturing methods and what you can use for stitching when you're in a pinch.
