Anxiety. That was the only thing she was capable of feeling as she made her way down the long corridor that connected the girls' wing to the boys'. It wasn't like she expected things to magically be better. But between her only friend now involved in a relationship and being stuck on campus due to being under age and the recent trouble she'd gotten herself in, Dizzy found herself running out of options. At the end of the day, as much as she didn't want to be reminded of her history with Rez, there was no denying it. When there was nothing else left at lest she should make some effort to repair that. Hands were shoved into the pockets of her jeans as socked feet silently carried her past the doors to other bedrooms.

Reaching his door, fingers curled to knock gently against the wood. Shoulder leaned against the molding of his doorway as she waited for an answer. A slightly over sized gray t-shirt hung over a skinny torso, practically hiding any hint of her femininity. She'd thought about bringing a stashed bottle of booze but sneaking it during the day didn't seem like the sort of effort she was willing to make. She had something far more discreet in her pocket if he was interested. "Hey..." She said sort of blandly as Rez finally opened the door to his room. "How's it going?" It was a little awkward to be so nonchalant, but it was a sign that she'd gotten over their drama, atleast mostly. Her heart wasn't attached and therefore she could muster up enough maturity to handle this and anything else that might come her way in regard to Rez. Or so she kept reminding herself.

Who: [info]dizzyp & Open
When: Friday 2|22|08
Where: Student Lounge

This was bullshit. Being confined to the building, as large as it was, had left the girl fiendishly itching for air, for freedom. It was her own fault for having slipped off campus, stayed out for days instead of just hours and ended up getting arrested in Manhattan. She knew this. But Dizzy wouldn't admit it and preferred to continue to sulk and mope as if the authority on campus had been entirely unjust. So what if she was high and in the process of being undressed by someone atleast a decade her senior when found. No one was hurt. No harm done. In truth the teenager was fortunate that the extent of her punishment had been probation and being confined inside the main building. If she needed to go to the infirmary or church, hah, then she was to be escorted. Thoughts roamed over the night of her arrest and she couldn't help but regret the shameless debauchery that had occurred on the porcelain sink in the bathroom of some rich kid's loft apartment, certainly funded by mommy and daddy. Rather than make her feel better it'd merely left her feeling even more empty than before.

She'd been the only person in the student lounge all afternoon. Those of age were probably in the process of signing themselves out for a night of fun in town, others attending predetermined plans of hanging out... she hated them all right now. In the hours the she'd lay upside down on the couch situated right in front of the t.v. while old episodes of Saved By the Bell played in marathon mode, her legs draped over the back, her spine against the seat cushions, her neck curled over the edge and her hair cascading down to gather on the carpeted floor in a mahogany pool, no one had been in there. She'd watched bodies pass the entrance as people made their way back and forth through the halls, but no stop offs. Not that she'd really know what to do if anyone did stop in.

It was a bad idea to leave the girl to her own devices when restricted to this degree. Slipping a cigarette from the pocket of her jeans, Dizzy brought it up to her lips and lit it, eyes shifting toward the door as she inhaled and proceeded to let the smoke escape in a satisfied release. How long would it take for staff to notice? This was a horrible idea, it'd only land her in more trouble. Though at this point, she couldn't really imagine it getting much worse. Fingers captured the cigarette between them pulling it away from her mouth, her arm extended outward in a linear path away from her head to flick the ashes onto the carpet as she exhaled a steady stream of smoke. If they wouldn't let her go out for a smoke, she'd just have to have it in here.

Who: Dizzy and Ophelia
Where: the rec hall
When: evening
What: watching movies and chatting?

Since the movie marathon was announced to take place on Thursday, Ophelia looked forward to it. The films shown might be good or just really lame, attending was still worth it for the new people she could meet. She received a phone call from her mother right before she was supposed to leave and so she'd be several minutes late to the showing. It couldn't be helped. Ophelia dressed in a simple black sweater and jeans, rushing out of the room and locking the door behind her. The rec hall was a reasonable distance away if she hurried and soon enough, she had reached the place.

Opening the door quietly and slipping into the room so she would not disturb anyone was a challenge, and Ophelia hoped she had done so. She glanced around for an empty seat and managed to spot one, taking it before she noticed the girl next to her. Wow, she was pretty. It took her aback for a second and made her slightly nervous. "Hi. Sorry for disturbing," she whispered. The first film appeared to be Gladiator, if she remembered correctly, and she looked forward to watching it again.

Who: Dizzy and Jacob
When: 4 pm
Where: Dizzy's room
What: Pampering from a friend.

Jacob gathered the items he'd bring over to Dizzy and packed them into a backpack, double-checking the alcohol bottles were wrapped in something soft. If Pearl wanted to spend all her time with someone else, doing the things she normally did with him, then he was spending his time with his friends. He had no intention of giving Dizzy his bad mood and tried his best to focus on the mission he had of pampering her. Locking the door behind him, Jacob headed to the girls' dormitory.

He knocked on Dizzy's door three times, but didn't give her a chance to open it before he did and stepped into her room. "Hey, starfish," Jacob said. "Today's your lucky day. It is the day of pampering. Don't bother complaining because it's happening. I know you're down and I'm changing that." Pushing up his sleeves, he slid off his backpack to rest it on her desk before casting a spell to fluff her pillows. There. He pulled out a bottle of alcohol and unfurled it from the warm little blanket in which he wrapped it. "This is really strong shit."

There was little to no stopping him once he got started. Jacob also revealed a couple large bags of M&Ms and Mars Bars for her to eat later. To be honest, he needed something on which to focus and he hoped she would appreciate this, even if it was deep down. The depression rested a little on his shoulders, but he gave her a smile as genuine as possible.

Saturday 1/20/08

Who: Dizzy and Jacob
Where: Dizzy's room
When: 9 pm
What: Jacob wants to get out of his mind.
Notes: PG-13+? Sorry for flooding the comm! You're probably sick of me by now.

Awkward, damn awkward. Why did his fingers have to type out what his brain was thinking at that particular time? Jacob was never going to live that or his previous actions down with Summer, he was sure of it. Drinking alcohol was all well and good, but he had no desire to deal with the hangover the next morning. He recalled that Dizzy had offered him something Thursday evening that might be exactly what he needed now and decided he should take her up on said offer. So after he left his room and locked the door behind him, Jacob headed to his friend's room with hunched shoulders, a determined walk. It was the walk of someone who chose to blatantly forget common sense and have fun without consequences, just for one night.

Alcohol did a good job messing up his mind, so perhaps it was time for a change. He reached out to rap on Dizzy's door three times with his knuckles and waited impatiently for her to answer it. Though she was his friend and he cared about her well-being, now was the time for utilizing his connections to fulfill his needs. Determined fire lit his eyes as he met hers. "Still got the happy pills? We're getting fucked up right now," Jacob told her. His tone indicated there was no room for disagreement and questions, lest she desired a barrage of glares.

He entered the room and sat on the bed, leaning against the wall and wished the world could sweep away all his reservations that had built up over the years. Maybe going back to that neat underground place he found and staying there for a few dozen years. Or a hundred. Feeling alone was the worst part, though Pearl hadn't betrayed him exactly. Dizzy was the next closest person he had to a sister figure here and he somewhat selfishly demanded she take care of him (if giving him ecstasy was part of doing so).

Rating: PG 13 for language

Ecstasy and weed, this was what it'd come to. Neither could ever compare to the effects of china white or her beloved black tar, but it was far better than Percocets. And all for the cost of a kiss. A fucking steal by her standards. Dizzy had done far worse for far less. This would be quick and easy, not to mention it was saving her the last few dollars she had left, considering she'd just tossed William a wad in hopes of scoring something heavier. Although the alcohol her newest friend had been keeping her supplied with was fantastic, it didn't always do the trick of killing her senses or better yet, picking her up from the dump she'd been feeling lost in the last few days.

Xander had provided a solution and she was more than eager to get through dinner to get her coveted purchase. While most students were hanging out in the common rooms or taking a walk before bed time, Dizzy was slinking down the hall toward the male wing of the dormitories. Fortunately she'd go unseens as she made her way to Xander's door. Converse anxious kicked at the floor, hands shoved into the front pockets of her snug fitting jeans. She'd done this sort of thing a millions times before. But this would be her first here. She hadn't really had a chance to feel out the level of security or what the penalties might be for bad behavior, though she prayed tonight wouldn't be the night she got to find out.

After a moment of hesitating just outside his door, fingers curled to give a knock against the wood to announce her arrival just as she began to step inside. Jades surrounded by charcoal eyeliner spotted him immediately as she went about shutting the door behind her and locking it. She wouldn't wait for an invitation to do so, in hopes of getting right down to business. "Hey..."

The week had been a shitty one. Peyton had set in all in motion with her bitchy little tiff about how Dizzy was responsible for ruining poor little Rez. The whole thing irked her more than she'd bargained for. Dizzy knew he didn't love her. The repetitive visions of his confessions of love to someone other than her had been the reason she'd split in November. She hadn't wanted to be around for his realization and her further heart break. Though, what if Peyton hadn't been entirely wrong? What if he hadn't realized his own feelings yet and her actions had been the cause of his relapse? She couldn't blame herself... he made his own choices, as was apparent throughout their relationship in the past. It'd all just been easier to avoid since her return. But now, now faced with the possible guilt that she wanted to deny, Dizzy had gone on the hunt for something to make everything better. Though it'd seemingly turned up fruitless, atleast in her initial endeavor. But what had resulted from her search was enough to grant her the euphoria she needed and possibly bring a friend along.

Of all those that she could think of, Jacob was the most deserving, and in her opinion the most in need. Poor boy was far too innocent. And though she had no sincere and cruel intention to corrupt him, Dizzy did hope to dirty him up a little. Maybe he'd have the reverse effect on her, though it wasn't entirely likely. A girl could dream of going backwards though. If only they was a way to revert back to innocence after learning. Having snuck out of her room, down the halls and eventually out of the building, making her way to the pump house had been the easy part, once she'd hit the snow covered grass. Classic Converse hi-tops hurriedly jogged toward the small building at the edge of campus, warm breath escaping her in cloudy puffs in the chilled air. Jeans and a black hoodie under a green military jacket did their best to keep her warm in the winter weather as she waited for her cohort.

Setting the black book bag she'd worn on her shoulder to the ground, Dizzy squatted down to unzip it and start emptying its contents. A can of gasoline for the fire, matches, her cigarettes, water to keep hydrated...

Who: Fenrir and Open
When: Saturday Afternoon
Where: Woods around the Boston Area
What: The Hunting Trip

Fenrir had rented a van for the occasion, which had required all sorts of fun interactions with humans. But after nearly terrifying three receptionists to death and being removed from quite a few agencies, he had managed to compose himself enough to rent a van and be done with it. On the plus side, his earlier frustrations had made him a far better driving companion, and he barely said a word as he ferried his hunting companions out into the woods where he knew deer were abundant. There had been less hunters over the years, which meant deer populations were on the rise. And there would be no hunters in the earea, since hunting season was over. Luckily they were going hunting without weapons, and Fenrir didn't give a damn about the rules anyways.

As he stepped out of the van, he stretched his muscles, cracking his knuckles and his neck in the process, and inhaled deeply, reveling in the fresh air. He turned to face the group with a large smile on his face and actually seemed rather happy, which was almost as disturbing was him being upset. "So then, who's ready for a hunt? Do we want to go individually or see if we can try a little pack hunting?"

Who: Jin-Sang, OPEN
When: 8PM
Where: The Pool
What: An evening swim to relax

After his dinner had settled in, Jin-Sang left the apartment room he was staying in to head for the pool. He wasn't surprised to find it empty, though he wouldn't have been surprised to find students in it, either. Hell, he had gone swimming wrongly in the pools back at the university in Florida. There was no difference between himself several years ago and the students he taught now. Strangely, some of his students in dance or swimming were of equal age or older. Jin-Sang didn't find it weird or so much a bad thing, unless they disrespected him. Then they would have a problem. However, he being one of the "lax" types who was everyone's friend, he was sure there would be no issue.

Closing the door to the pool behind him, Jin-Sang moved further into the dark room. There were dim lights that were low-cost and always kept on. By that glow alone did he see, walking along the bleachers until he reached the one he felt most like putting his things at. Kicking off white and red Nike sneakers, peeling off white socks, the young professor leaned forward and pulled his shirt over his head in one go. It felt like some old ritual that had long been forgotten. Jin-Sang probably would not be swimming with his students, not when he knew a handful knew what they were doing. If he needed a demonstration he was sure he could just ask one of them. Xander, perhaps, who had boasted to being on the swim team before TJS as well. Good for him, JC was genuinely glad to hear there were students here who shared a common interest.

It's hard to say no when you want to say yes. )

Sunday: 9/16/2007

Who: Fenrir and Dizz
When: Post Lunch
Where: The woods
What: The first lesson begins.

Fenrir layed lazily on the ground, trying to figure out what he was doing. In the time he had been in the school, he had never attempted anything as brazen as this. To teach a student to embrace the wolf in them, rather than simply controlling it. For one he'd never met anyone who wanted something like that. For two he'd never made the offer.

Maybe it was just boredom. He'd been living for a long time, and he had been without proper wolf companions for decades now. Maybe it was some unrealized instinct that he had pushed away and was resurfacing. Or maybe it was nothing at all. Maybe he had just let his desire to be top dog push him into making an offer he would regret.

Whatever his reasoning there was no turning back. Well there was, he could always just get up and leave and let her come to this spot to find nothing, but that would be pointless. She would find him around the school and then he would have to confront her anyways. He just hoped she recognized him in a pure wolf state. From what he understood, those who had not been born werewolves did not have the control to shift into a pure wolf state. It was strange to him, to think of being stuck half way. He would see what this new wolf could be taught.

Who: Dizzy and Rez
When: 9/15/07 6:00 pm
Where: All over the place
What: Going out for Dizzy's birthday

The day had seemed long and it felt as though it should've been much later by the time six o'clock neared. Her morning had been consumed with a run, a shower, and breakfast, the afternoon with getting her shit together so that she could leave the grounds tonight. Proving that she'd turned eighteen had been much easier than she'd thought it would've been and once the paperwork had been filed, she was free for the next two days if she so chose.

Although most girls would agonize over what to wear for such an evening, Dizzy couldn't bring herself to worry about clothing. She was far too preoccupied with the looming talk that still hung over her and Rez and the conversation from yesterday, with the older wolf. A week in and she had alot to think about already. Jeans and a tattered green sweater that looked like she'd stolen it from Kurt Cobain's closet and shrunken it to fit her in the dryer, were all she wore along with those beloved classic Converse hi-tops. Shoving her room key and a pack of smokes in her right back pocket, she'd pause to glance around her room before heading out the door with her note in hand.

Stopping by the common room where she'd run in to Rez just the other day, she'd stick a post-it note on the empty couch where she'd sat, for him. "Meet me out front. - D" She was in dire need of a smoke and grateful to the custodian that'd hooked her up last night. Braiding her long, brown hair as she walked toward the exit, she'd let it drape over her left shoulder. As soon as she stepped outside, Dizzy pulled a cigarette from the pack in her pocket and lit it up with a long, deep inhale. Immediately her nerves were soothed and the impending conversation with Rez or dealings with Fenrir didn't seem as big of a deal. Cigarette between her middle and index fingers, she'd give the butt a flick with her thumb as she waited for Rez to find her note and meet her outside so they could head out for an evening of utter boring and corny fun.

Friday: 9/14/07

Who: Fenrir and Dizzy
When: Friday, Breakfast time
Where: The Cafeteria
What: Fenrir smells a new wolf and investigates.

Yoga had finished without incident. Students were trickling in slowly but surely, though he knew he would have more success with the night sessions. There were always more during the night sessions, and so that was the time he devoted to more instruction, as opposed to expecting them to follow. Really he always expected them to follow, but he was technically an instructor, even if his two subjects were optional.

With the start of a new semester there were always too many scents to filter through. He had picked up on the old vampire who smelled like dirt quickly, because it stood out, but the younger, fresher scents were harder to filter, as there were more of them and they were less unique. However, he had been sorting through them all week, noting that there were some scents he had never smelled before. One that even smelled like crystals. However in a facility that took in so many different species, he was concerned with filtering out only one type of scent. His kind.

He had caught the young ones scent yesterday, but hadn't realized how young she was until the five minutes of meditation that followed every yoga session. When he realized it, he knew he had to introduce himself. Well, introduce was a poor choice of words. He knew he had to let her know whose world she was in now.

He found her in the cafeteria, which was not surprising. Many of the young students had required classes and those required classes took up the morning. He walked over to where she was sitting, ignoring anyone that may have been with her and sat down in the nearest empty seat with a loud thud, not bothering to control the force of his body.

"We must talk, young wolf."

Monday - 9/10/07

Who: Rez and Dizzy
When: Monday Afternoon
Where: The Student Lounge
What: Christmas came early this year.
Status: Log In-Progress

It was Dizzy's first week at another institution, though this time she wasn't being held captive, caged or controlled, well not entirely. The last month had turned up some of the strangest events of her life and it seemed they'd only continue to get stranger. The opportunity to leave Manhattan hadn't come a better time and to some degree, despite the twisted turns she'd taken recently, there was a sense of relief in her newfound home and life. Dizzy Parker, thinking positive. Hell must be freezing over and pigs filling the sky.

Still weary of the place and people she'd spent as much time alone as possible aside from being showed around. Meals had been mostly skipped thus far in exchange for naps. Finding the lounge nearly empty while most students were still finishing up dinner or outside enjoying the Autumn air or not back from break yet, Dizzy had taken up residence on the couch nearest to the television.

After nearly a half hour of flipping through channels she'd stopped on some gospel baptist preacher exorcising his parishioners and repositioned herself. Denim covered legs were draped over the back end of the couch as she laid upside down, her head hanging over the edge of the seat cushion and her long mane of brown cascading and gathering in a pool at the carpeted floor. It felt just like being at the crazy house for juveniles, except, no one knew her here. Atleast, not yet.

Guitar Hero be damned! )
