This week had been a little better than the last. Her new year had arrived in silence and solitude and for the days proceeding she feared it was only a preview as to what the rest of her year at this place might look like. Her plans to avoid her peers had soon been retracted when the opportunity to do something simple without being forced into awkward social situations had presented itself, video games. A small and simple, yet appreciated release and break from the already monotonous routine of every day life... and classes had only just begun. This was how Dizzy met Jacob. Though their conversation wouldn't really have its birth until he'd sent her an instant message. And soon the two were making plans for ways of coping through atleast one class together as well as the overall semester. Maybe now the teenager would have a reason to remain attentive during Energies and Emotions, even if it was just to wait in anticipation for the notes being passed back and forth.
Before she knew it the weekend had arrived and Dizzy felt the inclination to somehow show Jacob her appreciation for the whiskey he'd given her. With nothing but painkillers she'd snagged from the infirmary, which she had to ration out carefully, and the cigarettes she'd bribed a janitor to keep her stocked with as long as she showed him her breasts weekly, the girl was only partially satisfied. Jumping from regular heroin use to nothing but Oxys and Percs had been a difficult downgrade for her to stomach. After a holiday spent vomiting with the shakes and creepy crawlies, she'd only recovered minimally and was doing her best to not rip her hair out when things got too still for her liking. The whiskey had been a nice little additive to her downers and not to mention, much needed.
Black leather combat boots silently strolled down the hallway as jade hues, heavily lined in charcoal searched for his room number. Slowing to a stop just outside of room G1, Dizzy paused a moment to glance down either ways of the hall before she'd proceed. The floor creaked just outside the threshold as hands brought up the painfully crude image of a blonde, just barely covered by patches of red leather. Taping it to his door, Dizzy atleast hoped to get a laugh out of him, though she didn't plan on waiting around to find out. Once the torn magazine page had been fixed to the front of the wooden door, a free hand rose up to push away long bangs that were parted to the left. She'd initially planned to knock and run, but it wasn't as if he wouldn't be able to spot her. Hell, he'd know right away who'd left it once he saw it. Instead, Dizzy decided it best that he see it on his own, by chance. Making sure it was secure, she'd take a step back to give it one last look before leaving. Amused grin curling the corners of her mouth.
