It was possibly odd for a girl to be in a music room packed with instruments only to wear headphones writing on a little notepad, but that was Olivia. The dorms were noisy with people making friends and their thoughts of each other kept seeping through. The stress of moving in was enough for her powers to spike, and she'd heard far too much shit in her classes to cope.
So now, instead of mingling and introducing herself, she was holed up in the quietest places she knew listening to her music player and writing down the seventh chapter to her new novel, embracing the quiet away from any seeping thoughts.
