Why did he leave his damn IM on? Wesley shoved the laptop aside and continued to sulk as he turned to watch the TV. It had been Family Guy illuminating the darkened room but since his conversation with Hope he wasn't really paying any attention. Even when his favourite scene came up he didn't realise. Time was that he'd have some peanuts or whiskey in his room but since Rogergate he'd not bothered to fill his up his stash beneath the bed.

Waiting for the inevitable soft "hey" that would come to the door, then the lovely woman would come through his door, flutter those brown eyes at him and then talk in her sweet fucking Scottish voice...
