Hi again!
I’ve already explored most of the prison and it’s only been two---[pause, give him a second]-three days? It’s not as big as I thought but easy enough to get around. I also managed to find a decent fishing rod thanks to you, Yen, but it doesn’t quite have the same feeling as the one I’m use to. But it’s still better than nothing!


I wanted to ask! If I break something at Athletic Complex or anywhere else...would that count as property damage? That’s one of the reasons I got sent here so I don’t want to get in trouble. [For now anyway. He laughs sheepishly.]
If I punch too hard, I think I'll break the equipment, even if it's made for punching!

[ Action ]

[ Speaking of the beach, that’s primarily where the young Hunter has been spending his time. Staying too the far right end, Gon had spent most of yesterday evening and this morning on it’s warm sand. The only times he had actually really left the area was to grab food (so much spaghetti~), water or for other necessary bodily needs. He had even took to sleeping there last night instead of bothering to go home to his newly claimed apartment but hey, nothing beat sleeping under the ‘stars’. ]

[A number of sticks of various heights stuck up from the sand. Each one was piercing an apple that was placed atop, symbolizing some sort of target. It was very similar to a practice he had done during the Hunter Exam, only this time it was purely to get a feel for the fishing rod he found. It was more delicate than the one he was use to but it still did what he wanted it to do, for the most part. With a brief moment to aim, he would give a strong swing to quickly to cast the line. The hook and its heavy bobber then collided with the target of choice. A flick of the wrist, sharp pull of the line and the apple was soon in his hands. This continued for a good few hours. Between hitting targets, readjusting and moving targets for more difficult skill shots and just overall pondering on what he wanted to do next...Gon seemed pretty content keeping himself occupied until his question was answered.]

[Ripping the last target off the stick that was a good distance away, he looked over the metal rod thoughtfully as he caught the apple in his right hand]

Not as rusty as I thought....but not amazing either. This rod feels pretty weak compared to mine...I hope I don’t break it. [Sighing a bit, he unhooked the apple and plopped down in the sand.]
