EVENT INFO: FAST FORWARD
Tired of the same-old of every day life? Curious to see what the future may hold? On Day 411 (January 16-22) you'll get the chance to do just that in our Time Hop Event. Twenty years have passed in prison. Physical changes and fake memories have been implanted to fill out the gap — what's your character doing these days? Are they still crushing on that other person? Is their hair turning grey? Have they given up all hope of escape, or are they still fighting the good fight to get home? You decide!

Will they remember this after the event? That is up to you, the player! You can have them remember everything or nothing or perhaps some of the things, like waking up from a dream.

Don't want to grow old? That's fine. You can stay in present time with your present memories, gawking at all these old timers that used to be your friends. Lucky.

A few things! :D

1. If someone was injured going into the event, I'm assuming that the time jump would have healed it?

2. When they wake up, are they waking up in whatever location they fell asleep in or where they would be after said time jump?

3. Would they have memories of people who were in the dome after the previous day, but left before the event timeline and would that be allowed? (Like... said, 5 weeks from current game time, a character arrives. There's CR. Then, that character disappears before the timeline that the event has them in.)

I was directed here, so here we go~.

John canonly knows a lot of people within the "underworld" of society. So, that's anywhere from dark arts, magicians, voodoos, to named demons themselves. I figure after 20 years, he'd know some people or have contacts that he could think back to. I'm not sure what sort of underworld/dark web/sneaky things MarinaNova would have as it is a prison with Wardens.

Also, for the sake of future self, I was toying with the idea that John would be aging slowly. In the comics it's due to demon blood in his veins - which didn't happen in the show (or, hasn't happened? Cartoon reveal makes things odd). So, how should I go about having this added to him for the future? Since MarinaNova is a digital prison.

	Additional question... Piper would have probably wanted to change the name of the Sizzle & Sear at some point in the 20 years she's been there. I have some ideas at least partially outlined for Kitty. Your character can accept as much or as little of what she knows to be true about herself as you want! She'll think you're experiencing a glitch if it isn't lining up with her world view. There's nothing to prove her version of events is real and in the places where someone else should be able to disprove it she'll just come up with reasons for that the way your mind does when it is incorporating sounds from the RL into a dream.

PHYSICALLY
— 40 years old, looks mid 30s.
— Hair is longer, falling past her shoulders, brunette, wavy. She wears it down or in a bun.
— Outfits are more professional.
— Still in excellent shape.

HISTORY/STATUS
— She married Chekov 17 years ago and kept her last name.
— Chicago, her dog, died years ago.
— They have a tribble (who can't reproduce) named Pushistyy (It means fluffy in Russian.)
— The Defense Force no longer exists in it's original form, but they were able to overthrow the wardens. After much work it was determined there was no way to send anyone home or anywhere else because everything about the system was set up as a one-way trip and they would destabilize to reverse it. They were able to stop the system from accepting new people, but they were unable to rejoin minds to the virtual reality who weren't already part of it. It was eventually decided they needed to stay in their suspended states in virtual reality because of their limited resources, though there was always someone monitoring them physically.
— She sits on the Liberation Council, the MarinaNova government, which she also helped found.
— She has taught several courses over the years including various languages, electronics, dance, and self defense.
— They still rarely, but occasionally have glitches resulting in strange events.
— The mistletoe bots are no more, but they do have a yearly tradition of hanging mistletoe.

SEEKING
— Anyone else who might be interested in sharing and expanding any of the prison backstory I outlined.
— Coming up with relationship arcs/events/connections (past and present) for our characters together! The good, the bad, and the ugly!
— I'm also very open to people contradicting her backstory which can just come up in game play.

The backstory idea of finally overthrowing the wardens is pretty cool! Although I'm fairly sure that A'oran is going to mock the idea of calling the government of a prison in which they are still trapped the "Liberation Council."

I don't have anything major to add, but my characters would be willing to help with the overthrowing part if possibly (they aren't tech savvy but time record is good for holding things in place is need be). Also would the Council be the first and only iteration of a government or would it be like...the latest in upgrades as they work out the fine kinks?

Okay, going to try and keep this brief and mostly relating to the characters. I'm super duper willing to collaborate on relationships etc so please do hit me up!

Spencer Reid
• 51 years old.
• Still wears about the same as he always does, though he's skinnier in an unhealthy way. Hair long, graying, thinning. He's getting old.
• Suffering from the onset of schizophrenia, possibly exacerbated from his virtual reality experiments. Has a hard time holding on to reality, frequent memory lapses etc. Because of this, he's isolated himself more than usual. Contemplates suicide as a final attempt to break the simulation, as well as a possible escape from a life of untreated mental illness.
• Sorry that got super dark he is not a happy boy.

Charlotte Charles
• 48 years old.
• Chubbier, getting some wrinkles, recently took to cutting and dying her hair in a style reminiscent of her mom's.
• Never had kids, obviously, but still adopts any teen that will have her, perhaps even more aggressively now that she's old enough to actually be their mom.
• Gadget is super dead and she still keeps his collar in a drawer but is absolutely not sad about it, what are you talking about?

Aidan Reilly
• 44 years old.
• Dad bod. Little graying streaks at his temples.
• Has basically turned the community gardens into a self-sufficient virtual farm and will take anyone under his wing that wants to learn how to grow stuff.
• Has had so many dogs come and go, good god, there are no dogs left for the rest of you.

Spike
• 146 years old.
• He's a vampire, literally nothing has changed.
• Still stuck with you losers though, which has made him less reluctant at helping people out of stupid situations.

Wade Wilson
• 59 years old.
• Looks about the same, what with the immortality and all. Starting to wonder if that immortality is about to come bite him in the ass.
• Still keeping up with the secret identity thing, though he's going outside without the mask as much as he isn't. Careful about keeping a divide between Deadpool and Wade though, out of respect of the Masked Avenger Code.
• Eventually accepted that seeing Vanessa again was probably not going to happen. Proceeded to date/bone/romance whoever would have him, slowly and carefully at first and then with slowly mounting confidence.
• Still ambushes Kirk with dickshaped popsicles every single morning. Yep.

Karev keeping tabs on Reid/ helping if he can would be A+. If there's a way for them to get meds it'd be interesting but if not, any coping methods he could think of he'd try to help Reid out with. And if you're gonna go why not well, maybe... make it a safe euthanasia?

Becca & Aidan being petparents would be nice though it'd be interesting to see if they grew / grow apart too with no escape and potential foiled self-destructive plans attempted on her part. But then they kinda are stupid easy magnets who compliment each other into a balance so idk.

Spike and Wade: Please take care in having some part of helping Jezebel grow up so she may now consider you Papas or uncles or besties.

Oh... this will be fun.

Duo
- Mid-30's, probably looks right about his age (since Frozen Teardrop future would not have happened in Marina)
- Still has the stupid braid, but it's shorter... more manageable.
- He's shorter than both Quatre and Trowa. And finally over it (it took a while).
- Still keeps up with the basketball thing and the Post Office thing. Did actually join the DF finally. Stays in shape physically.
- Might be something of a serial dater for anyone up to having had relations with him. However, he's sort of a commitment-phobe, so he probably hasn't settled down, yet.
- He probably experimented with dating guys and girls, so open to ex-partners with anyone.
- He is just starting to turn grey, which will irk him to no end. So feel free to notice a grey hair or two.
- He still wears the gold cross pendant, but he's started moving away from the almost completely black wardrobe.
- Still spends a good amount of time in the arcade.

Kitty
- Also mid-30's, but looks younger, probably late-20's in appearance.
- Is now teaching at the school.
- Managed to get herself into being a ranking member of the DF despite a mildly protective double trying to keep her from doing anything too dangerous. ;)
- Helped get something of a governing council started among the residents. Currently serves as a member of said council. Open to ideas on what position.
- Is the cheerleading COACH instead of an active squad member... when they have enough people for a squad.
- Cut her hair to just around shoulder length, and leaves it down a lot.

Piper
- Is now in her 50's.
- Still has long hair, but it's salt-and-pepper now.
- Still runs the restaurant.
- Still works with the DF, but not as much. It's sort of a part-time, when-needed thing because she still has her powers and feels the need to help others who don't have that ability.
- Joins Chuck often in being "Prison Mom" by "adopting" kids who come in, potentially to fill the void left by never getting back home to see her own son Wyatt.
- Has finally accepted to not going back, so has been open to dating and potentially marrying someone. Open to m/f pairings here.
- Still teaches the cooking class.

Tieria
- LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME. Except maybe his clothing choices have changed a little, but he's physically identical.
- That's not to say he hasn't aged mentally and emotionally. He's now been active for almost 30 years. His emotional changes reflect this.
- This means he's probably gotten to the point of being able to successfully date people. Not a lot of relationships, but a few long lasting ones. Open to ideas. Tieria's flexible and would probably date anyone he found interesting enough to stir an attraction. He's an intellectual dater. If he makes a connection with you intellectually, he's interested in you.
- Still works with the DF. Hasn't quite given up on finding a way out. Occasionally still tries to hack and probe the system to look for weaknesses.
- Has taken on a few more classes teaching at the school. Mostly things along the lines of math, science, economics, history. Open to ideas on classes for him to teach. Probably three at most.
- Has taken it upon himself to keep track of library changes and be something of a make-shift librarian.

- In his mid-thirties
- He gained a few inches in his late teens, but much to his disappointment, is still short. Sometimes this bothers him - like when he can't reach things without a stool.
- Hair is shoulder length, messy, and usually in a ponytail. He's added a few more piercings. Clothes are still casual and mostly black.
- Still thin, but healthy. He works out and trains daily. Eventually started teaching combat and sword fighting to anyone who was interested.
- Quit the DF ages ago.
- He still runs his little goodwill store, though he updated it to look more professional.
- Personality hasn't changed much, though he's generally more relaxed and cheerful.
- Fear of getting attached to someone only to have them disappear kept him from dating until he was in his late teens. Even then, he can't bring himself to fully commit to any serious relationship - romantic or otherwise.

• 46 years old.
• Waiting for opinions on this idea from Rica and Anna before I commit to this idea but I feel like between being involved with not one but two immortals he would have had a Serious Vampire Discussion. (Knowing he dies at home totally doesn't create any sort of fear or death AT ALL I'm sure.) He would have saved up lots of points beforehand, called in some favors from some magical prison friends and had a soul all lined up and waiting for him after getting vamped because Ianto prepares for things like that. If that's the case he'll be more or less the same, a little older and wiser even if not physically, still very much involved in the running of things in the dome.

Phanan
• 52 years old
• Older, hair is mostly gray at this point, rocking the dad bod. He's made some updates to his prosthetics over the years as things age and break down or fall apart. His facial prosthetics are a little sleeker looking and the artificial eye is yellow now instead of red. His hand is more robotic looking now (think Luke's upgrade in The Force Awakens) with entirely exposed metal parts rather than artificial flesh. He hasn't picked up any new cyborg parts though with is good.
• Still married to Chuck, still head over heels for her. #relationshipgoals
• Still pranking Kitty whenever possible. #relationshipgoals
• 20 years away from combat with the empire have been good for him. He's in a better place than he was when he showed up here, doesn't hate himself or all the cyborg parts anymore and has generally had the happy life he never got the chance to live back home.
• Mittens the tarantula is dead, he's okay with it and has probably adopted many more insects across the years. Also kids, because that's what he and Chuck do.

Kanji
• 36 years old
• Probably went his true ending route in terms of looks at some point so he's stopped bleaching his hair and started wearing his glasses. Still kept the piercings though because he likes them.
• Still not quite the best and the brightest the dome has to offer but he's gotten his act together and is really involved with teaching classes, partly in Euphie's memory and partially because he actually really likes it.
• Not much has changed in terms of personality. He's probably never really had much in terms of romantic relationships but he's a lot more confident and comfortable with himself and that's enough for him at the moment.

Aigis
• 32
• She's a robot but she's not entirely unchanged. She can't age but has made her Arena weapons upgrades to herself so she has rocket launchers when needed now. Also she's more likely to wear a red tie than her schoolgirl bow.
• Twenty years is enough time for even the most clueless robot girl to learn how to be human. She's still polite but is fully in touch with her emotions and is much more empathetic and aware of social cues. She's completed the path she started down in The Answer and become a kind, caring young woman who places a lot of importance on her friends. She's become more of a leader and less of a loner, and is the first one to step up and protect the dome from any threats or danger.

• Now in the 46-48 age range
• Greying, not that you'd tell because she's still often dying her hair a few strange colors and/ or rocking an undercut
• In good shape, but softened after so many years not needing to be peak of fitness Assassin, yadda yadda.
• Still emotional over her dog children (presumably shared with Aidan,) yet incapable of not bringing more home

Jezebel
• ??? Age range, immortal daughter of Satan here. No physical changes.
• A little more put together and independent, but still enjoys a web of friendships (pls join in and be her friend) for support and good times.
• May not have yet found True Love but has had a few good relationships, learning from each one and making them more meaningful/ less "idealized" and more real
• Probably has a pet hamster named Sugarcube. Everytime Sugarcube dies she gets a new Sugarcube to replace him/ her.
• Sings regularly at the bar every few nights, less bubblegum princess more sophisticated crooning, etc.

Karev
• 50s
• Still excited to do minor surgery, usually stuck with colds and allergy symptoms
• May or may not have a good thing going with someone for access to their regrowing organs in exchange for favors, points or etc.
• Is grouchy. Is pretty much the same. May have had a drinking problem that he's 4-5 years sober from.

Peter
• 40s.
• You bet he's still rocking the red and blue.
• Enhanced DNA doesn't slack easy, he's still fit, flex and in spandex.
• (Not really spandex)
• Probably kissed a pizza face at least once and regrets it or at least never speaks of it but still bickers like a married couple so there's no big difference
• I'm losing my coherency at plots but Peter probably tutors or low key teaches people if interested in science or physics, etc. He's rocking tweed jackets and button downs at this age too. And maaaybe some glasses.

Okay, thoughts. I'm not very good at this extrapolation stuff so people to bounce ideas off are very welcome!

Age: Jack will be approaching his bicentennial, which might be a thing that gets him thinking about stuff. If he's been stuck here for 20 years already, he'll already have had some big bouts of depression about the fact that being stuck here 'forever' means a lot longer for him than it does for mortals, whose real, physical bodies are presumably still ageing and who will therefore presumably die eventually while he won't.

Physically, he won't have aged much at all and will still look thirty-something, beyond the odd grey hair or two, so a lot of other people will have aged past him, which may have been a sore point with some of them.

Would almost certainly be performing some kind of leadership role. Because I'm lazy, I'm going to say that's some kind of position on Kitty's council. :-)

And if I'm going for that I may as well go for the rest of her idea, i.e. no more wardens, which means NO MORE SEX BANDS. Which means that casual sex is go again and in 20 years, even if he's still with Ianto and Spike and mostly staying faithful to them, there would almost certainly have been breaks in which he slept around any of the rest of the dome who would have him. So feel free to assume your character was one of them and leave me a comment to say so! :-D

A'oran
Looks: 559 years old, looks exact same, except his hair is in a messy braid instead of out.

History: Gillian showed up 16 years into A'oran's stay and used their bond to try and force A'oran to give up his blood for him. Fight happened, Gillian died, so A'oran is free from the blood bond between them, but had to worry about his soul degrading without a blood bond if he went without for too long. He'd been avoiding making a new one because you know, fucked over once already, but his mental state was not doing so well. Mood swings, being thirsty for blood all the time, avoiding the friends he'd made, etc. Finally someone smacks some sense into him and he agrees to a bond (whether a true bond or a secondary one that is more temporary).

Seeking: Friends that A'oran could have made over the course of said 20 years (aka, some saint willing to put up with him), in particular one (or more) willing to make a blood contract or a secondary one with him. Blood bond involves swearing an oath of fealty and subservience to the person in return for their blood to sustain his soul and involves some psychic connection as well but the level depends on the strength of the bond/devotion the two have for each other.

Miranda
Looks: late 40s, streaks of white through her hair, which is about halfway down her back, walks with a cane due to old injuries, arthritis in her hands and wrists

History: Miranda spent the last 20 years gardening, reading, making friends, and during that time also joined the Defense Force, but isn't currently a full-time member. Mostly retired. Also she started a History Club during that time where inmates could meet up and share the histories and cultures of their worlds and a record would be kept of them so that they wouldn't forget what their worlds were like and allow other inmates to learn about different worlds than their own. At first she started with writing all of it by hand with audio recordings, but finally someone made her learn to use proper computer/laptop for typing. Also over the course of those 20 years she's become a more confident and at peace person. She would be more willing to try at romance even though she's awkward and likely would need time to get used to the idea ~~especially the sex part~~.

Seeking: Friends, potential romantic partners (current and/or former), and other people who would be willing to take part in the world history club/project.

Mal will be 51. I could go one of two ways with him. Either he lets go and just becomes the prison drunk, or he mellows out. I'd love for him to settle down with something. Now that he realizes he'll never have Serenity or Inara, maybe he could start looking around at the other women? If there are any women willing to be his partner? He'll definitely have gray hair, but other than that, physicality depends on whether he becomes the drunk or he settles down.

Martha will be 44. She ages gracefully. She's managed to get her scars removed. Like Mal, I'd love to play her settled with someone, but if no one is up for that, I would also be willing for her to be a character who somehow was never able to get in a relationship here. Again, it's up in the air. IF you want your man to wake up next to Martha in the morning hit me up. If not, that's cool.

Sarah will be 35. Oh dear. I need to talk with people about this before I really come up with something. Suffice it to say, I think she'll have matured a bit by then.

Please play with me as I continue to slowly dig myself out of post-holiday and work RP funks! I'm all here for this event and would love to use it as a way to deepen existing CR or start something new.

Pavel Chekov
- Forty-two or forty-four (depending on how you count time travel), holy wow.
- Could probably outrun your middle-aged character because fitness is forever.
- Much more subtle Russian accent (shocking, yes, I know).
- Married to Kitty for seventeen years and currently raising a tribble with her.
- Not as happy as he thinks he should be. At some point he accepted that prison is going to be forever and, as much as Marina has going for it, his hopes and goals and dreams had been tied up in getting back home and back to space. His work and Russia had been key to his identity and, with both gone, things would have been bleak for a while. They're better now, but it's been rough.
- No longer makes exaggerated claims about things that were inwented in Russia.
- Very into teaching math and physics of all levels.
- Also very into being A Good Friend because honestly, being stupidly loyal is one of few character traits that being trapped in Marina indefinitely continues to foster.
- SEEKING: Math/physics students, friends (seriously, would your character like an intense friend, because they can have one), shenanigans.

Felix Gaeta
- Forty-seven and not entirely sure how he's still alive or if he's cool with that.
- Probably on MarinaNova's best-dressed list.
- Forever single because romance is dead and all for casual encounters of the sexy kind.
- Stays busy because not being busy leads to thinking which leads to dark places.
- Possibly involved with implementing and maintaining post-Warden order? I'm not sure what I'm doing with him yet, but if there's any kind of civilian government or public servant roles to fill, he'd want to be there.
- Has learned/is learning all of the things. Tech, languages, whatever information the prison and other inmates are willing to impart.
- SEEKING: Friends-with-benefits, friends-without-benefits-who-enjoy-gossiping, please just come at me, I want to do things with him.

So, first we'll have some basics. Then we'll get to the ideas that I'm toying with given they could possibly need mod approval?

1. John is now 52!
2. He has lung cancer, because he's canonly doomed to have it. Everyone who pointed out his smoking habits can laugh at the irony.
3. Following Hellblazer canon, how about he somehow managed to get the scar he acquires.
4. Also, following Hellblazer canon for the kick of it, John has lost his thumb (a little graphic so watch out) along the way. Probably, like in the comics, trying to summon some entity. Maybe even did a spell against the Wardens and it horribly backfired? It's a mystery~
5. (if Zed mun approves!) He probably had a relationship with Zed that was deep, meaningful, and he shot himself in the foot and ruined it. Most likely he used her powers to benefit himself in some fashion as opposed to really helping her.

Ideas Needing Mod Approval?
- As I'm literally just pulling from comic canon, he does have demon blood in him that makes him age as slow as a sponge moves across the ocean floor. I'm not sure how it could happen or if it should/can - hence this section!
- Twenty years gives you plenty of time to know about a possible underworld? Magic orientated, maybe just some dark creepy secrets. John canonly has contacts out the arse when it comes to this department, so it would be something he would have established. The thing is, who these people are/what he'd know would obviously need to work within the game/what is established.

- 36 years old
- still damn babyfaced, has long hair now, mostly in a ponytail.
- still spends way too much time in the library but at least he works there now.
- Has probably had some casual relationships with people.
- He's probably learned to trust a few people by now, so maybe those people know stuff about his past. Even the deal with his family.
- Has a lot of cats, and is so happy that the cat from home is still alive. She's an old cat now though, mostly sleeping, instead of going out roaming and tripping people.
- Also teaches various languages. Has probably learned every single one spoken in the prison. So he's definitely not wearing the communicator to get translations.
- Spends way too much time among cats but what else is new.
- Secretly deeply involved in the prison's underworld.

Obi
- 43 years old (or so he'll say)
- He's turning gray and has some wrinkles but it only looks good on him.
- Fashion is unchanged
- He's finally been able to get over most of the love he feels for his Master and Mistress, though, he sees that as a good thing.
- Probably has hooked up with people too. He doesn't do romance though. But having mutual sexual relationships are all good, he's not picky about partners either, as long as he gets along with whoever it is.
- He has no problems handling electronics any more and is pretty good at them.
- Has a lot of influence in the shadier parts of MarinaNova.
- Cooks for people that need help but also often have people over to eat just because it's fun.
- As agile and flexible ever. Just like a stray cat, as always.
- He'll forever wear the identification badge he got from his Master.
- Has a lot of flowers. A lot of them are a mix of apple red and snow white, and a lot of other ones are dark. If he can find blown-black flowers, he'll have those.

Wendy Marvell
- 33 years old
- For reference, her counterpart from another world looks like this and Wendy looks like her. Her fashion is a little less revealing though. She has a dragon tattoo somewhere, I need to decide where though. Also a Cait Shelter tattoo.
- As kind as ever. But not as shy.
- Has picked up a lot of new magic. And martial arts and weapons.
- She's teaching people magic now. And she's working at the hospital as a healer with her magic.
- Probably dated a few people at least, if anyone wants her.
- Is referring to close friends as family.
- Got really good at baseball, the Purple Dragons are definitely all family.

since zed is still so new i'm seriously leaning towards her not ageing, what better way to get to know everyone than having her meet the older versions of them? what better way for her to be all WAIT WHERE THE FUCK HAVE I ENDED UP?!

zed is a psychic, so if anyone wants her to have dreams involving your characters for this let me know and we can work something out. her visions aren't normally clear, so bring on crypticness.

- 39 years old. Aging well. (He takes care of both his hair and skin somewhat obsessively.)
- Just beginning to silver in a dignified way. Hair a little longer, often tied off low and loose.
- A few inches taller and broader, but still more pretty than handsome. Still skinny beyond belief, but taking better care of himself (and his partners) than he did in his teens, so it's a healthier skinny.
- Opened a little couture business years ago, making custom, made-to-order clothes. He started it for something to do, and for the Rehabilitation Points; but he likes it a lot more than he thought he would.
- Also teaches occasionally at the school. (As in, occasionally gets an idea for a class and then teaches for a limited amount of time; seminars on specialty topics that he's studied up on. See below.)
- Does a lot of reading. Was a child prodigy back home, has picked up a lot more over the past twenty years. He's learned more languages and picked up a few more musical instruments. Also stepped up his game a lot on the hacking front, which might have allowed him to contribute something to the Overthrow The Wardens effort...
- Has finally acquired a pet of his own. In his "defense", the dragonet was supposed to be for Suzaku, because they live much longer than cats or dogs and Lelouch didn't want to watch Suzaku be repeatedly sad about losing pets, but she took a fancy to him instead, obnoxiously willful creature.
- Still lives with C.C. and Suzaku, but now they're sharing a bedroom. With the appropriate blue bands. It was a difficult situation to navigate, but twenty years was more than enough time. (Occasionally just quietly marvels over his good fortune; outwardly, does a lot of complaining about both of them, but time has softened the edge of his tsun a lot. The complaining is usually still with a smile.)
