Superhero Party Mingle
The time has come! All of the stars have aligned at it is...

Superhero Party in Quatro Park! Some decorations have been put up, mostly appearing to be comic book action words like 'BLAM!' and 'POW!'. There is a table for food with picnic-ish style fare. A few placards for the food are mildly punny for another who has read comic books. Another table is set up for make your own masks for those that weren't prepared. There are a few games out, but periodically Carl will host the foam sword "battles" set to music that is not fitting for a sword fight just for amusement value.

Anyone can come to the party even if they just want to be themselves and not pretend to be a superhero.

[Carl can be found setting up decorations before the party and wandering around in a button up shirt with a cape bearing more comic action words on it]

[ Helping out with a party seems like a great idea to take your mind off things. Aidan skipped on the spandex and instead opted for a white tank top, a pair of slacks and a touch of fake blood, a look some people might find familiar. ]

[Sarah carefully makes her way over to him, cursing her heels as she walks. The only superhero thing about her is the bookworm plastered on her undershirt. Other than that, she looks like a librarian. Pencil skirt, glasses, button down... But she's thrilled to see he managed to find a comic book cape. So delighted, it chases away the lingering sadness from the day before.]

[It's more of a kiddie-party than she was expecting. Not that she really knew what to expect from "Superhero party" but she said she'd go and so here she is. And she does absolutely look the part possibly because she is just in her uniform from home. She wears it occasionally when things are going bad in the dome and it was obvious from the start rather than just being out in the middle of it. But a lot of newer people probably haven't seen it at all.

She's going to be browsing the food for those pizza bites Aidan promised her and giving anyone who suggest the sword battles a look.]

[ It's absolutely more of a kiddie party than he was expecting and although he's dressed up, he feels awkwardly out of place. Still, he said he'd come and so he's here, making a beeline to say hi to her. She is, after all, the reason why he came in the first place. Once they've talked he might just go home. ]

Dude bring it on! [Kanji has his Phoenix Ranger Featherman R costume on because it's about the only superhero type show he watched when he was a kid. Even with the helmet it's pretty easy to tell who the tall person yelling at you is.]

[ Reid wasn't going to go, but someone convinced him to come and so he's here, dressed up as a much less traditional hero. He's still sporting a pretty impressive black eye and maybe that's why he's decided to channel someone much more mature and put together than he is. Good thing Hotch isn't here to see it, though.

He'll linger around the outskirts of the party, as is his wont, nibbling the occasional snack and feeling way out of place. This was less Comicon and more 13th birthday but honestly, what did he expect. ]

[ Aidan wasn't sure what to do with the whole superhero thing and since spandex would show off the chub he's been getting lately, he decided to opt for something a bit more down to earth. Tank top and slacks, a small touch of fake blood as if he's trying to get used to the idea of blood on his face. Maybe some people would recognize the look but I assure you that it's entirely coincidental on his end.

Still a little dazed from the other day, he'll wander around and check on the food, eating or refilling but most certainly not being very present. ]

[Martha had actually taken quite a bit of effort to put her costume together. Blue fitted suit, red trainers, brown trench coat... she'd even fashioned a sort of sonic screwdriver, though it wasn't pretty. The only things she couldn't manage were the fabulous hair, and the height. Other than that, Martha was walking around as the tenth Doctor for anyone who knew him.]

[Link wasn't totally sure what a super hero was, but he did know what a hero was. IE him. He combed the stores for the closest approximations he could find of his Hero's outfit from back home. And luckily he did find things that mostly worked, he wasn't looking forward to sewing a completely new tunic by hand.

He wandered around the party, not quite sure what to make of any of it. Strange food. Odd costumes. And swords made out of... he didn't even know what that was...]

[Sarah felt just the tiniest bit uncomfortable. No, scratch that. She felt super uncomfortable. She had thought going as the secret identity of the bookworm would be easier. So she had found a button up shirt, pencil skirt, pair of sensible heels, and of course, glasses. She'd never really worn any of those items before. And on top of it, the top few buttons of her shirt were unbuttoned to show off the insignia underneath. A green worm with glasses reading a book.]

[Someone is bobbing down periodically from overhead, upside down and looking around. The words Superhero Party beckoned him, especially since it was really the kind of thing he would've loved as a kid. If he could contribute any sort of fond memory to someone, why not show up? He can even eat pretzels with his mask occasionally rolled back.

But one question remained:] Is it egotistical to consider yourself a "super hero"?

[Lyle hadn't been quite sure what to do for a "superhero party". There wasn't really anything pre-set. It was flexible. So in the end, he ended up pinning a large letter "L" to the front of his shirt. Seemed simple enough and effective for the purpose of the party.

He hadn't been quite sure what he was expecting, but it definitely was clear that the host of the party was a teenager. It was rather juvenile, but given the age level that made sense]

[When M'gann heard "superhero", she got really excited. She was a hero! This was easy for her. So she had just decided to use her suit to make it look like what she normally wore when she was fighting. It definitely looked cool! Not that she understood the references, but it still looked fun!]
