Who: Heather and Roake
When: Thursday morning
Where: out on school grounds
What: possibly awkward introductions

Karishma was in the care of a good friend, as she often was this time of the morning (and month). Just because Heather was a mother now, didn't mean she had to give up her figure or fighting. She wasn't able to run twice a day anymore, but once a day was doable. It was just a shame she didn't have Kim here to join her, though Heather's talented protege would be returning before long, and then they could get back to their regular training sessions.

Right now though, Heather had energy to burn on her own. She was jealous of Kim right before the full moon. Kim had a man. Heather needed to get one of those for herself, if only to scratch the itch she always got in the days leading up to her transformation. She only had a few hours left to burn, and she would have liked to spend them naked, but she was dressed in her running gear instead.

Heather's feet hit the grass in perfect rhythm. One after another they carried her across the school grounds. Her mind and body were both humming with excessive energy. She could feel the moon's pull. It was calling the beast within, begging it to come out and play.

Who: James and Heather
What: Date Night
Where: Grill 23 (Center City Boston)
When: Saturday Night

James wasn't generally one for Pomp and Circumstance. But tonight was the first real date he'd had in a long, long time and he was going all out. He'd made reservations as soon as Heather had agreed to Dinner, and he'd been worrying ever since. Which made no sense, since he knew Heather wanted to get to know him. Something about her overthrew his usual confidence though.

He was dressed casually for the evening, keeping the weather in mind, and had presented roses to Heather before a tumultuous, to put it lightly, drive to the restaurant where they were now seated. Still a little frazzled from the drive, James was having trouble thinking of what to say. "You look lovely this evening, Heather" he said, wanting to kick himself for starting off two conversations with her now with the most cliche' possible approach.

Thanksgiving day

Who: Fenrir and Heather (And Karishma)
Where: Heather's apartment
When: Thanksgiving
What: A feast of sorts.

Fenrir was, surprisingly, nervous. He had never been to a Thanksgiving dinner. In fact, he hardly knew what one was. He did know it involved Turkey (he had gone hunting for the school yesterday. Luckily wild turkey's were becoming a problem in the Boston area, so he had no trouble finding plenty) and that it was a celebration of sorts. But he didn't know what do at all.

He had asked a few people, mostly with little help (his reputation preceded him) but he had eventually learned that he should dress up, and bring something. He didn't know how to cook at all, so in going out to buy some nice Clothes he had also purchased an apple pie.

He felt very constricted in the dress shirt and suit coat he had purchased. The woman who had helped him decipher the maddening system of numbers involved in purchasing dress clothes had tried to get him into a tie as well, and he had amazingly not bit her head off. Though she did look very startled when he growled at her. But he wanted to be presentable and so he would suffer through it. He cocked his head to let out a soft pop, before he knocked on the door.

Who: Fenrir and Heather (and Karishma)
When: Tuesday night
Where: infirmary
What: Heather goes to check on Fenrir

Heather heard about the fight shortly after it happened. She had been reassured that both Fenrir and the student would recover, so she didn't rush off in a panic. She couldn't afford to do that when she had so much more responsibility now.

Being a mom was HARD! It wasn't that she had never appreciated all her own mother did, but now she truly understood what a drain it was on the body. Any fears Heather had in recent years about gaining a few pounds were now gone. She'd already lost two pounds this week from all the chasing, lifting, and feeding someone other than herself. But Karishma brought new joy to her life. She'd never felt so wonderful.

Seeing as how Heath was out and about, Heather had no choice but to bring the toddler along to the infirmary. Heather hoped that Karishma wouldn't upset Fenrir.

With the little girl resting on her hip, playing with Heather's hair, the pair of them entered the infirmary. Two sets of eyes darted around the space. Heather knew what she was looking for... Karishma was simply entertained by a new place to explore. The child wiggled around in Heather's grip, but Heather softly said, "No, no... we have to be quiet in here. There are people sleeping." Karishma and Heather were still getting to know each other, and the child was good at pushing boundaries, but Heather remained firm. Sensing that Heather was very serious about behaving in this particular case, the little girl calmed down.

Spotting Fenrir, Heather walked over to his bedside. He was out cold. She wasn't sure if he was unconscious due to what he'd experienced, or if he was just sleeping. She whispered, "Fenrir?"

Who: Fenrir and Heather
Where: Heather's Apartment
When: After Fenrir's Yoga Session
What: Heather requests a chat.

Fenrir was nervous. That was the only word he had for it. He wasn't nervous because he was afraid of Heather. If anything he wanted to fight her again. And he wasn't nervous because he was worried what she might tell him. He had gone for quite a long time without companionship. And it wasn't like he expected anything from her. He had lost. And he had never been well liked. So why would he be nervous?

He didn't know, and he didn't like it. But he was feeling particularly calm after his yoga session, and he'd been different ever since his visitation on Saturday. He wasn't sure how yet, but he felt better than he had in a long while. Like a weight was disappearing from within him. Which wasn't to say he had changed completely. He just felt like there was something more to life than the cold rage he had kept inside for so long.

He knocked lightly on her door and stepped back, arms behind his back. He'd done good yesterday and hope to keep the streak going today with being good. He knew that he was being watched now.

Sunday: 10/28/07

Who: Heather and Fenrir (dun dun DUUNNN!)
When: Sunday night
Where: Fenrir's apartment
What: Heather is gonna rip his balls off and shove them down his throat!
Rating: R for violence and language

Heather was furious. FUCKING FURIOUS! The condescending little note. The raw meat. And just her general hatred of Fenrir and pretty much everything he represented to her. He was just like every asshole who had ever told her she was 'just a girl' and therefore couldn't play with the big boys. Well, she'd proved them all wrong (sending some to the emergency room in the process), and she'd prove Fenrir wrong too. Fucker was going DOWN!

Storming through the halls, her bare hands clenched around the pieces of meat he'd given her, she left a trail of blood and other juices in her wake. Her hands were squeezing the flesh... punishing it... and she hoped she'd soon have the chance to do the same sort of damage to his face. She knew she probably should have taken some time to cool off and really think about what she was doing, but Heather was just too damn mad. Meditating and/or praying wouldn't work this time. Hitting a punching bag wouldn't deliver the same sort of satisfaction. She needed to attack this problem head on. Destroy the source. The symptoms would go away once the problem was dead and buried.

Arriving at Fenrir's door, Heather slammed her fist full of meat against it with all her might. The door frame rattled violently, protesting her greeting. "OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!" she said in a growl. It was a good thing Saffron was gone, because Heather didn't want to put her friend in an awkward position to punish her.

Who: Heather and Kim
When: 7:30PM Monday
Where: the gym
What: Kim's first training session with Heather

Heather had been somewhat scatter-brained lately. School was going well, but her personal life was a little chaotic. She was stressing about all the paperwork and the social worker visits in preparation for her new daughter's arrival. It still felt weird saying that. She was going to be a mom soon. To a degree, she already was, it just hadn't been finalized yet, and the little girl had yet to move in, but Heather was already very busy planning, which meant lots of trips into town to buy toddler supplies. Heath was taking it all in stride, thankfully, including his sister's mood swings, which had been severe lately. She had occasional panic attacks over the ridiculous notion that she was going to be a terrible mother. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Really focusing on training again would be a good distraction though, and she was excited to teach someone who had real potential. She hadn't spent much time with Kim, but Heather was a good judge of talent. With the right training and attitude, Kim could be turned into a real fighter. Heather missed those days, but her fighting career was over. She was a teacher now, and she was truly an expert in fighting, so there was no better person to teach Kim.

After a quick bite for dinner, Heather ran back to her apartment to get all the supplies she and Kim would need. She lugged the huge duffle bag across campus to the gym, arriving a good fifteen minutes before Kim was set to arrive. She wanted to be early so she would have time to set up everything. The gym was well equipped, thankfully, with perfectly crafted punching bags. It sucked to go to a gym and see shitty ones, the kinds that busted easily. Now that she was a lycan, it was even more easy to destroy a bag or rip the seams in her gloves. She only bought the best these days, because it was too irritating to replace the cheaper stuff constantly.

Heather considered going ahead and wrapping her hands, but she decided it was best to wait. It would be part of their lesson today.. teaching Kim how to wrap her hands properly. One of the many things the young woman would need to learn.

Monday - 9/17/07

Who: Saffron and Heather
When: Monday Afternoon
Where: Saffron's Private Quarters
What: Saffron requires a visit from her personal trainer.

It was safe to assume from their emails back and forth that Heather knew exactly why she was coming to see Saffron. They played it cool, never said much in a way that it could be traced, but they were both quite content with the arrangement that the two of them had. Of course, that might not entirely be all that it was. Saffron did have feelings for the woman. It wasn't love, of course, as she felt incapable of that, but there was... something there. If not, she wouldn't have bothered to have sent that glowing recommendation to the adoption board or put in for the Jao's to be moved to a larger apartment because she was so very certain that it would go through.

But all of that was neither here nor there at the moment. And she certainly wouldn't talk about what feelings she did or did not have for the woman. That would simply ruin the moment now, wouldn't it? Instead, she busied herself with making the room, and herself, ready for the visit, deciding to surprise her in a way that she might find pleasant. After all, who wouldn't want to walk into a room with a beautiful, naked woman waiting for them in a bed adorned with satin sheets?

As Saffron waited for Heather to arrive, she couldn't help but to smirk a little, thinking back on the first time that something like this had happened. Once upon a time, Heather really had worked with Saffron as her personal trainer. The chemistry was almost instant, which was surprising considering that Saffron didn't tell anyone about her sexual preference. Being a succubus who was also a lesbian was, well, more than a little unusual. But it took one to know one, apparently. Heather had picked up on her signals the very first time but it wasn't until many sessions later that the sparks became a bit too much and they ended up sweating off some calories between the sheets, or against the wall as it were, instead.

Sunday: 9/16/07

Who: Heather and Nathaniel
Where: Heather's office
When: early afternoon
What: Nathaniel pays her a visit to say hello.

It was the end of his first week adjusting to a new place and so far things had gone well, more or less. Nathaniel met a few potential friends, online and off, and he had Starbuck and Kamea too. All things considered, he had nothing to complain about, and hoped that meeting his staff sponser would be a good ending to his week. Finding her office took some work, but he managed it after a short while. The door was open and so all he had to do was knock on it before he entered. For a moment, he hesitated - meeting new people always required an inhalation of calming breath beforehand.

He looked into the room before he could help it and saw the figure of Heather, a dark-haired, toned woman who looked about his age. Appearances could be deceiving as she might be much older than him. Nonetheless, he'd give her all the respect and courtesy he usually gave people, even more so if she was his staff sponser. "Miss Jao - Heather?" he asked. Calling her by her first name made him a little uncomfortable. He had been in medicine where titles were used frequently, after all. Heather seemed friendly over e-mail but that didn't always correspond in person - he thought she would be nice, giving her the benefit of the doubt.

He hoped that he wasn't disturbing her. True, he could always come back later if she was busy because he was paranoid about that sort of thing. "Am I interrupting?" Small talk was not one of his strong points and he had no idea what to talk about with her besides asking her about baking. Nathaniel couldn't forget about that, not when he and Shizuka made plans for a Baking Club. He put a small smile on his face to seem less grumpy - both his mother and Adam were insistent that he scowled unconsciously and it was difficult to forget the talk they gave him. Just too serious all the time... well, he ought to change that.
