Her mouth opens, closes, opens again and yet rather than words, all she can manage at first is a shake of her head as her face runs through a veritable Rolodex of emotions, the main theme being Pissed.]

When I went to bed last night I was under the impression that things couldn't actually get any worse. [Her jaw locks in place, the Dhampir so angry right now that she's moved into that semi-scary place of calm with a side of snark.] I - stand - corrected!

[The bright orange jumpsuit is hard to miss, even when it's muddy and dripping water onto the sodden ground as the person sporting it sits there with her arms resting on top of her knees, trying to ignore every itch and generally uncomfortable sensation that comes from being kidnapped, thrown in prison again and soaked to the core. Even if you missed her video introduction to the residents of the dome, it doesn't take a genius to realize what's happened. She's pretty much the poster child for Take care where you step today.]

[Nico is out, for as long as he can be out. His jacket is zipped to his chin, but he's already soaked through. (Maybe hoodies aren't so stupid after all.) He's found temporary shelter from rain and flying cephalopods.

He may not be able to shadowtravel into the safe zones, but he can get pretty close to them. In this, he can be useful. At least until his energy runs out. Hopefully he'll be close to a safe zone or somewhere safe if/when that happens.]

You were right. I don't know if there's any connection between this and a few other cases, but this anger is far stronger than I've felt normally in any situation.

[ today deanna can mostly be found in her office, but there's also the time she heads for the ice cream parlor to grab a to-go cup of chocolate sundae and everything chocolate to take back while she thinks. she'll look distracted if anyone runs into her, but for normal therapy sessions, she acts completely normal. she can focus on what she needs to, even while distracted. for the most part. ]

[Asami's smiling face appears onscreen, with a variety of dirty magazines visible behind her.] Hey, so there are some faces here. A lot of new faces since the last time I advertised, actually.

Mal strode out of Lyrical pissed off beyond words. Also drunk... but mostly pissed off. They'd cut him off. He didn't want to be cut off. The last thing he needed was to be cut off. He just needed to drink himself into oblivion. Of course he let his anger be known... He may have thrown a bottle at one of the fucking bots and done his absolute best to destroy a chair before stumbling out.

His next stop was Inara's room. Once he got there, he stood in the doorway. The problem with refusing to listen to one's emotions means they come out in even more violent ways when poked with a stick. And the wardens were definitely poking him with a stick. Crossing the threshold finally, he punched a hole in the wall. He felt his hand break as he did it. He didn't care. He just needed to get this anger out. The mirror was next. He destroyed as much as he could... except her clothes. Her clothes would stay as they were. In fact... he packed them up and brought them over to his own room.

[Bruised, angry, and quite sad, Mal comes on. There's a gruffness to hide anything he's actually feeling.]

Hello Mariners!

I think we should play a game, so I thought of one that might work over the network. It's called Would you Rather.

I'll give you two scenarios and you'll have to choose which one you'd rather do. You won't actually have to do them of course! Then you'll give me scenarios and I'll choose. Let me know if it doesn't make sense. Maybe once it gets going it will be clearer.

[It seems peaceful enough on surface. Just another average evening in the dome. Get some new inmates, have lunch, put a vampire's soul back.

Tonight is the night. They'll either come together as the team she wants them to be or this will fall apart. She gave out the final assignments yesterday. Now, it's a matter of having a little faith that they'll all do their part, and this spell will work.

She can feel the weight of the stake on her belt. It's not that the wood is heavy, but what it represents is—a choice she'll have to make to whether or not to take someone else's choices away.]

[It's that time again! The (usually handwaved) baseball practice! Grab a glove, grab a ball, grab a bat! Come work on your technique, do some drills, play catch, talk to your fellow baseball players and people who stop by to look (and maybe be enabled to join.)]

[ deanna is in desperate need of something to do. she's tried several places already today. the ice rink just made her think of her husband. no good. fusion was nice. it has a few dishes she recognized but nothing really appealed to her so she'd left. the art center is interesting. it makes her think of both data and nathan... and also the enterprise. it could work if she can't find anything else. she'd wandered around the row and found a few things that seem to work well for her sense of style and comfort. they remind her of some of the things she used to wear before captain jellico had requested that she be in uniform. as she doesn't have her uniform here, she may as well be comfortable.

and then she'd found chill, the little ice cream parlor in sector 4. she's needed this for a long time and she's quick to order the most chocolate-filled sundae on the menu. chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, chocolate syrup, chocolate toppings, and chocolate sprinkles. clearly this means she's having a bad day. she'll be there for a few hours, savoring the chocolate taste for as long as she can, even if that means she has to drink the melted part at the end. ]

There is nothing like a good chocolate sundae.

[ totally just talking to herself, but it's said loudly enough for anyone nearby to hear. ]

[By the afternoon, Anya is tired of waiting for people to come by her apartment and bring her her pearls. So she starts systematically going through the Dome, stopping people in the street, interrupting them at lunch, knocking on their apartment doors, demanding the return of her pearls.]

[ Clay tries to avoid wandering. It's not a natural for him, not anymore. When he was a child he'd do anything to get out of the house and run, but that was a long time ago. It's been beaten out of him, so to speak. The fact he's already been attacked here for doing exactly that doesn't speak to his safety. But there's one thing here he hasn't inspected-- the starscape. Is it the same? He's spent aeons watching the stars, the moon, the sky, locked in the animus, but he hasn't managed it for even a minute here in this prison. ]
