Day 280 [Spike Resouling Mingle / open*]
[It seems peaceful enough on surface. Just another average evening in the dome. Get some new inmates, have lunch, put a vampire's soul back.

Tonight is the night. They'll either come together as the team she wants them to be or this will fall apart. She gave out the final assignments yesterday. Now, it's a matter of having a little faith that they'll all do their part, and this spell will work.

She can feel the weight of the stake on her belt. It's not that the wood is heavy, but what it represents is—a choice she'll have to make to whether or not to take someone else's choices away.]

[Sam has been researching vampires of the prison since he arrived and he wished he had more to show for it. Then again at home there wasn't a lot of saving when it came to monsters. It usually too less work to find a way to kill them. He's still not sure he understands putting all these resources behind saving Spike. It would be different if it was someone like Oz. But he's going along with it for now.

He's as ready to answer questions as he can be and a little more ready if there's trouble. He keeps an eye on one of the headquarter's windows.]

	Waiting like this? [For something bad to happen?] Not a lot, but I guess often enough. [She absently rubbed her finger along the window ledge.] The boarding school I stay at back home... part of our training is to use our powers for good and protect people. It's better than all of us just figuring all that weird power stuff on our own. It's kinda scary to suddenly be able to do something that's not normal or that other people can't do or don't understand. And then they get scared of you... and it's just all around messy.

My parents wanted me to hide my powers. But, when I first got them, weird things would happen, like I kept dropping things, or I'd fall through the floor... and it just wouldn't have been a good idea to fight it and not learn to control it.

It sounds like someone else would have noticed eventually unless they kept you away from everyone. You convinced them to let you go to school though. [He had his own trouble getting to school with his Dad, but that had nothing to do with powers.]

	It's more defensive. I can protect people with it by making them intangible, or rescue people by helping them get through obstacles instead of having to go around them. The only thing I can do that's taking action against someone is to short out electronics with it. But that's okay. I don't mind. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

With the containment room set up in the library, there wasn't much he could do from HQ beyond what he was doing now.
