Wesley was proud of himself. Immensely proud. Not only had he managed to prepare a stunning venue for his and Roger's outside date but he had also undergone the painstaking task of lighting little outdoor-bulb ornaments in a line leading to this very place. He was spruced up, dressed smartly, in a suit he'd bought especially with the money he'd saved from working here at TJS. It was all for a good cause. He'd taken time to preen his appearance. It was all for the love of his life - Mr Roger Bates. Whom he really really hoped would come tonight...

After being worried sick about Roger's whereabouts (as he had heard of Dante's desire to rush somewhere remote after a rage) Wes had been up all night. He'd annoyed Ric with his pacing, generally noisy exploits and stumbling over boxes which made it all the more frustrating. When he finally got a call from Roger it was... well, complicated. His relief and happiness at his boyfriend's wellbeing was quickly abandoned when the subject of Dante overtook it and Roger seemed a little... offended. All that was left was to try and salvage this on the road.

Ric kindly offered to give Wes his car, and Wes was driving at breakneck speed trying not to crash. Once he got to the destination, despite a few wrong turns, he was out of the vehicle and running to the foyer of the hotel. "Roger?" he called, attempting to be subtle as he scurried through the doors.
