Maggie was really struggling in her classes. She’d missed a bit, make that a lot of school the past year or so from all the insanity in her life. Plus, she was used to classes designed for someone who was seven years old. Yeah, she now had the body and most of the mind of a fifteen year old, but she still had only existed for a little over seven years. There was so much she hadn’t experienced, and saying she was sheltered by her family was an understatement. Although, to their credit, they’d tried, for the most part, to treat her like she was a grown up. Her parents and Charlie weren’t happy about her cross country stunt, but when she insisted on staying at TJS, they agreed to it. Now they were all in the process of moving from one coast to another, only a few months after the last move in the opposite direction. They did a lot for her, and she appreciated it. Still, hormones were a bitch, and Maggie felt really fucking moody on a regular basis.

She was a bit grumpy as she gathered up her belongings, shoved books in her bag, and then exited the classroom. Thank God it was her last class of the day. This new workload was more than she felt she could handle, but she was a regular student now, and that was cool at least. No more private tutors in classrooms with no other kids. She also was back at the school she really liked. That place in San Fran was lame. She’d always gotten along with adults better than kids her own age. Now she felt fully grown up, and was ready to be with her true peers.

What: the cure has arrived!

Charlie was making the rounds through school. He’d already given several friends the cure, and he made sure Wes and a few other healthy people had vials of their own to give shots. Together, they could hopefully get everyone treated within 24 hours, though it wasn’t as simple as simply shoving a needle in and arm and pushing a plunger. Some people were really bad off, and Charlie stuck around to make sure they reacted well to the medicine and could care for themselves after receiving it. So sue him, he was a caring guy!

Once he moved from the staff buildings to the dorms, he headed straight for Fox’s room. Being half angel, something that was extremely rare and foreign to this world, Charlie figured Fox would be in horrible shape. Demons and elementals had been the worst, and maybe angel spawn was high on that list as well.

He knocked on the door and called inside, “Fox? It’s Charlie.. I have a cure to the virus.”

What: Old friends running into each other

Kate didn't exactly have an amazing amount of possessions, a side effect of moving around a lot, but right now it seemed so much more as she stared at the stuff packed into the trunk of her car, parked up outside the doors. Why couldn't her new room be on the bottom floor? She really wasn't looking forward to getting it upstairs.

Still, there was nothing to do but start, right? Grabbing the most important thing, a massive suitcase of clothes, and a cardboard box of random bits and pieces, the blonde locked up the car, and headed up to the over-18 dorms. Once she got up the stairs and into the central area though Kate realised she had forgotten which way she was told her room was. Well, there was a 50/50 chance of going the right direction, so she headed right, still looking confused, looking for signs of where she was at the moment, and totally not noticing the couple of people looking at the weird new girl on their way out.

What: Frankie finally gets turned back into her adult self

Frankie was still really scared of turning into someone she didn't remember being. Scratch that. Scared wasn't a strong enough term. Pure, unadulterated TERROR! Yep, that was better. People probably just thought she was cold, but she wasn't shivering so much as she was trembling from fear. She'd held Fox's hand on the way to the infirmary and refused to let it go even when she was seated and handed the potion. Having people stare at her so intently, watching and waiting to see what happened, only made things worse. It was like her worst fear come true. She felt like a lab rat being experimented on by government scientists. Frankie finally couldn't take it anymore. Either she was going to run out of the room and stay exactly as she was, or she was going to chug that fucking potion and get this over with already! So she chugged.

It took a moment, but when the potion began to work, she knew it! Pain ripped through her body, transforming it. Frankie wasn't that much different as an adult, but she was slightly bigger with more curves. But that wasn't what hurt the most. Her head throbbed like it never had before, and she thought maybe she was dying, because she could see her life flash before her eyes. Every memory that had been dormant during her short stint as a teenager came rushing back to active status. Information overload and then some! Frankie had been squeezing Fox's hand so hard she threatened to break bones, but when that stabbing sensation hit the center of her brain, she let go of him to clutch the sides of her scull and shriek.

Then, suddenly, it was gone. The pain was gone, though she still felt a bit achy all over. And in place of that agony was the reality she'd left behind when the spell hit. She also had some new memories. Ari molesting her in the tunnel. A few fights with Vinnie. And some awkward conversations with Fox. Those conversations were the hardest thing to process right now. She looked up at him, seeing the worry on his face. Either he was concerned about the pain she'd just experienced, or he was afraid she was about to hit him now that she remembered everything about their past.

When: Thursday afternoon
Where: Frankie's room

Frankie quickly hung up on Vinnie to avoid saying something that would upset him. She was upset enough for the both of them. Was he right? Was Ari not her friend at all and just lying to her? Did she just kiss, grope and nearly have sex with a guy who was totally scamming her? SHIT! Frankie didn't want to believe it was true, but she knew she could be overly trusting. It was one of her biggest flaws. Her papa lectured her about it on a regular basis, reminding her that she needed to be more careful and not take people on their word alone. That was exactly what she'd done today. She believed what Ari said, and she'd been having a great time with him! Fuck, she even asked him to come visit her later.

When she made it back to her room, she slammed the door shut, threw her phone in the hamper so she wouldn't have to keep feeling it vibrate from Vinnie trying to call, and climbed into her bed, pulling the covers over her head. She started crying, worrying that she was the world's biggest idiot.

Charlie was gone... Her action hero, the man who looked after her like she was his own little sister, or sometimes even his daughter, who cared enough to punish her when she screwed up, drove her mad sometimes, and loved her despite it all, was gone. Left the school. Left her. Cassie knew it was going to happen eventually, but she didn't realise it would be so soon, or how much it would hurt.

What she really wanted was to curl up with her boyfriend, but he apparently didn't know who she was. Cassie would have thought he was just joking, but after hearing Charlie tell her what happened to Ana and Ava, and the fact she was pretty sure he couldn't stay away this near to the full after recieving that picture message, she was pretty sure he had no clue who she was. Instead, she tried to distract herself, but that couldn't get rid of the unease, so she tried to go to bed.

At about half past midnight she was still lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep on her own tonight, so she decided to get what she wanted. Climbing out of bed, the little demon crept down the hallway in her hoodie and short shorts, finding herself outside I3. Fox's room. It wasn't hard to let herself in, and she walked straight over to his bed, climbing in with him, not saying a word, just snuggling into him.

There was much debate when it came to picking out something to wear tonight. On the one hand, he had told her to be ready to ride, which would indicate they were taking his motorcycle, which would mean that pants would be a good idea. But on the other hand, Hope hated wearing pants. She had nice legs and she liked to show them off. And so she compromised. She wore what every girl should have in their wardrobe, a little black dress, but she made sure that it had enough movement in the bottom to not only be comfortable while straddling a motorcycle but to also be tuckable so that she could keep it from flying up and showing everyone what was underneath.

As the time neared and she made her way downstairs to meet him, she couldn't help but feel a slight pang of guilt, like maybe this was a bad idea. She and Nicanor had gotten closer lately and this could hurt him but, on the other hand, their relationship decidedly had no future. He didn't stay in one place for very long, and she couldn't commit to anyone. So maybe he would understand. And if not, maybe it was better that way. She didn't need to be getting close to anyone. She didn't want to set herself up for that sort of hurt again. So she pushed those feelings back, buried them down deep as she made her way to meet Fox, looking as poised and confident as she ever had in spite of how broken apart and empty she felt on the inside.

Being a woman, and Cassie especially, the chaos demon had turned her room into a tornado of clothing, shoes and jewellery trying to pick out an outfit for Blue's surprise for Jason, and still she hadn't made a final decision. This was useless! She was never going to make a decision at this rate, so what was Cassie to do but bug a friend for help, and even better, a male friend to get the male perspective on the outfits. She wanted to make Jason's jaw drop.

Wrapped in her robe, with an armful of clothes and shoes piled ontop as well as hooked over her fingers, Cassie walked over to Fox's door and kicked it to get him to open up. As soon as he opened it she walked straight on in, dumping the stuff on his bed. "I need a man's opinion!" She announced, picking through the things, not even looking at him, or thinking about the view he probably got with her bent over the bed.

What was once a place of learning had quickly been transformed into an almost unrecognizable playground. The staff, as they had done at the back to school mixer, had gone to great lengths to create a Halloween Party that would make any but the most stubborn of people leave their problems back home. From the commons room, to the facilities, to the very grounds themselves, everything was being utilized to provide the most extravagant celebration many of the new students would ever have seen.

The commons room was being utilized as a cinema for the evening, playing a mixture of classic, and modern horror movies, from Frankenstein and the Wolf man, to the recently released remake of Halloween. There was also a list so students could make requests if there wasn’t enough interest in any of the movies being shown.

As per the last celebration, their were many areas for students to enjoy a wide variety of music, with a techno style dance club in the dance studio, complete with lack light and disco balls and a personal DJ. The pool was filled with floating candles and flowers, with soft music produced by a string quartet wafting through the room, and the music room was home to a small dance floor which was driven by a man playing graceful classic tunes on the piano.

In the lounge of the rec hall, there were various games for any willing participants, including bobbing for apples, and a game where you could supposedly tell the first initial of the person you were destined to marry by how the skin fell when peeling an apple. There were also fortune tellers and palm readers, real of course. After all, in a school that catered to such gifts, it was easy to stir up a few willing participants. There was also a wide variety of Fall themed treats, not only candy but also traditional pumpkin stuffs, and other like dishes.

However, the main attraction was a haunted house trail that ran the length of the grounds, and which had a few special surprises put in place by the staff. Though, of course, the goal wasn’t to completely terrify the students, it certainly would not be your normal haunted house trail, and there was a posted sign warning those less brave of students to not risk the terrors that awaited within.

Cassie had been thinking too much. It wasn't hard to reach the stage of too much seriousness for the chaos demon, to be fair. Too much was going on between Charlie's marriage problems, Frankie being back, wondering if she had seemed snappy or weird with Jason when she was texting him the day before, Garret, the problems he was having. It was just... gah! She needed a night off. A night off to chill out with a friend. Yes, there was Dee, or other friends, but it was just a Fox night somehow. That was what she wanted. Her best male friend.

Wandering over, wearing pyjamas and carrying a bag which contained some of the remnants of the Saints and Sinners party alcohol, she hoped not to run into anyone who might be trouble, especially Frankie. Somehow she doubted the sprite would be pleased to see Cassie on her way to Fox's room. She must have done something right though, because the demon got there without any problems and opened the door letting herself in. "Knock knock. Oh yes I'd love to come in, thank you Fox. How are you?" She drawled, less than hyper, but obviously still with a sense of humour.

Cassie was kind of proud of herself! The party was pretty much a success! There were people she expected to be there that weren't, and the ones she didn't expect to be there weren't, apart from Tiger but then he was being paid, but overall enough people arrived and enjoyed the party that she counted it as a success. Fox seemed to enjoy it from what she saw, so that helped. Now the party was over though, and they had been cleaning up for a while before Dee told Cassie she could leave her to it and to take Fox back. The demon did feel a little bad for letting her new friend clean up alone, and she told Dee not to worry about it and that she would clean up later in the day, but she had a feeling the older woman would do it anyway.

Wandering over to the angel, she took both of his hands and walked backwards towards the exit. "So that fallen angel back there" She said, nodding to Dee, "told me that I should probably help you back to your room..."

Cassie had spent most of her afternoon in the tunnels trying to set up for the party, with help from Dee. Although she had done it last year for Will's birthday party, taping the fairy lights onto one side of the tunnels had been as difficult as the first time, with lots of turning only to have them fall down, but eventually they got the hang of it and, along with the floaty material the girls got on their supplies trip, one side was done.

As for the other... well that was meant to be a work in progress for the evening. Cassie had managed to acquire spray paints she was assured would wash off easily and she had started turning the other side of the tunnels into a graffitied mess for the sinners. The cans were left on a table for others to contribute to it too. It was going to be hell for the chaos demon, and anyone else she conned into it, to clean up afterwards, but it could be fun if it went right.

A bar was set up with tables raised on cinderblocks and a sort of raised platform for Tiger to stand on too. Alcohol was set up behind for the animator to control, as were soft drinks for those without ID, like Cassie. She had paid him as soon as he turned up and given him a grateful kiss on the cheek, before she disappeared to get ready herself and get the guest of honour.

Cassie was so glad to be allowed to go to this beach party. She had been planning to do something like this for ages. It sucked that someone else beat her to it, but it could be fun, infact she intended to have fun no matter what, so she was happy for whoever set it up. It was good timing for something else too. Cassie felt it was about time that Fox came out of hiding and joined the masses again. He was coming to this party no matter if she had to give herself a migraine using her telekinesis to help her physically carry him there and dump him in the pool, and that was that.

She did knock on his door, but didn't wait long before opening it herself, to reveal to the angel, a demon in a bikini and not much more clothing over the top. "Party time! You're coming to this beach party with me, so find some trunks!" She called as she walked in.

It all started with Cassie happening to spot Jason walking out of his wing. She was going to say hello when she saw the bottle of alcohol and two glasses, which made her curious, so of course she peeked at where he was going.... and saw him going into Frankie's room.... Of course a smart comment about how she was allowed friends of the opposite sex in her room when Fox wasn't allowed to spend time with Cassie flickered through her mind but she just sort of rolled her eyes. Then she started to wonder what was going on and so the chaos demon headed for Fox's room.

To her credit she did knock first, but there was no answer. The light was on, so she figured the angel was in there, which begged the question of why wasn't he answering her, even to tell her to wait or to go away? Cassie wasn't easily deterred though, so out came the lockpicks Charlie had given her in her first year at the school, and she broke in, pushing the door open and already speaking before she could see anything. "What is going on now? Are you and fireball arguing again?"
