Who: Ana, Ava and Adam
When: Late Monday night
Where: New York City, the twins' penthouse
What: Ava's back and she brought along a guest.
Ever since Saturday, Ana had felt slightly on edge. Charlie and Ava were able to pinpoint that down to one thing for her, but Ana just couldn't understand it. Since when did Ana Van der Witt ever freak out over a guy? It was so bizarre. She was used to guys freaking out over
her, but this was a completely foreign concept. After a few bottles of Merlot and talking to her sister, Ana was able to calm down. She had to play it cool just like she always had.
Monday night rolled around and the more she thought about how she'd have to behave, the more she wanted sex. No ordinary man would be able to give her what she wanted right now, so obviously the first person she called was her sire, Saul. The goal was that she'd be so exhausted by the end of their rendezvous that she wouldn't even give sex another thought for a day or two.
Ana was snapped out of her thoughts as the cab rolled to a stop in the courtyard of
15 Central Park West. Paying the driver, she climbed out and walked into the lobby where security sat to the right at a booth. "Good evening, Ms. Van der Witt," an older male guard greeted her. "Good evening, Harry. Has my sister arrived yet?" The man nodded. "As a matter of fact, she has. Just walked through here about thirty minutes ago with a young gentleman." Ana felt her stomach begin to knot up. "Wonderful. Thank you, Harry." The man gave her a smile and a slight nod of his head. "Not a problem at all. Have a good night, Ms. Van der Witt."
Climbing into the elevator, Ana pressed the button for her floor and the doors closed as the elevator began its ascent. She clutched her Coach wristlet tight as she watched the numbers at the top of the elevator go up. Why was she getting so nervous? This wasn't a big deal. She just had to keep telling herself that. Taking in an unnecessary deep breath, she fiddled with the belt of her
black shirt dress as the elevator came to a stop. She stepped out and walked down the hall to her door, taking out her keys to unlock it. Opening the door, she stepped inside the foyer and paused for a second before calling out into the apartment. "Hello?"
