What: Explaining what happened in her nightmare.

All the time that the healer was looking at her arm and asking her what happened all Cassie could think about was how the hell she was meant to tell Jason what happened. Harlow was right, she needed to tell him herself, and he needed to know she was in the infirmary, but this was not going to be pretty. It wasn’t exactly pretty in the first place, but telling him seemed almost as bad, if not worse. Cassie knew he’d be upset, and that he wouldn’t take it well. He’d already tried to avoid her to keep her safe and it happened anyway. What if he broke up with her? Left her completely in some stupid attempt to look after her?
