Who: Nox and Fisher
What: Trust Exercise
Where: Nox's Office
When: Monday Morning
Rating: PG 13

Fisher was admittedly excited about going to see Nox's wings. Aside from his usual interest in the weirdly macabre, imagining Nox in these badass batlike wings was pretty damn hot. Nox was one of the most normal people Fisher knew, and to think that he had something so distinct and unusual about him that he kept hidden, well... it made the man more human. In a manner of speaking.

Carrying his shoulder bag (just in case Nox actually made him go to class), Fisher hurried to the demon's office feeling somewhat high in spirits. It felt wrong to be looking forward to something with so much death lurking around the school, but to Fisher death was always lurking around. And Nox had actually sounded better, which was promising. The man took too much upon himself. Knocking on the door only as a formality, Fisher let himself into the man's office. For the first time in weeks, his hair was smooth and was pulled back off his face in a low ponytail. He was wearing dark wash jeans instead of his usual chained pants, and his black zip-up hoodie was somewhat fitted, not shapeless and oversized. He looked somewhat like a grown man and not a teenager.

Not that he was dressing up to look good to see Nox.

"Hey," he said with a half smile, dropping his messenger bag onto one of the chairs. "You should be proud, I'm awake before noon and actually went to class this morning."

Thursday, May 13

Who: Ada and OPEN
What: A random meeting? Who knows. She just needs to get to know people.
Where: Coming in from the garage
When: Thursday around 8:30
Rating/Status: Who knows?

Hearing about the girl at TJS who overdosed had shaken Ada more than she'd like to admit. No, she hadn't known Dizzy at all, hadn't even met the girl, but it made her wonder how many of the people she had used with, all in the name of a party, had gone out the same way. How many would go out with a chemical overload in the future. It also made her remember her own close calls far too clearly. Twice she had been hospitalized for the same thing that had killed one of her classmates. If nothing else, it served to remind her just why she was fighting so hard to stay clean.

So she didn't even consider skipping the Thursday night NA meeting in Salem. She got back to the school at about 8:30, venti latte in hand. She parked the vintage Camaro in the enormous garage area, easing it in between a pickup and a smaller car, and slid out of the car. She locked her door, out of habit, by pushing in the little knobby button on the inside, and slid the door shut just in time to realize that she had left her keys sitting on the driver's seat.

"Well, shit," she said with a sigh, rolling her eyes at herself as she checked to see if maybe, just maybe, the window was rolled down a little bit. It wasn't, of course. At least she had coffee, but that wouldn't do her much good getting into her room if Addie didn't happen to be there, would it? But really, she just had to laugh. Here she was, fretting over addiction and overdoses, and the problem that arose was as simple as locking her keys in her car.

She started toward the door into the school, hoping someone would be around who might be adept at breaking and entering. She herself had only ever managed to break into a car on Grand Theft Auto, which wasn't very useful at this moment, and she really didn't want to have to break a window.

Sunday 11th May

WHO: Lloyd and James
WHERE: Meridian Hotel, Boston, followed by a car.
WHEN: Early Sunday morning, 5amish
WHAT: James is being the responsible one and coming to take the shrink home
RATING: probably R for swearing.

Humiliating. That's what this was. Lloyd had phoned James in his happy drunken stupor only to realise how right the younger demon was being about the whole thing: if Lloyd was really into this whole sex with a few blind dates game then he wouldn't have snuck out of the hotel room at an unholy hour, only to ring James for a 'chat'. If he allowed his psycho-analyzing brain to work on himself he'd have known he was far from satisfied with it. But now, James was coming to save him from further shame and drive him back to the school like a parent.

The last time this had happened was when Lloyd was 20 and his mother had driven 30 miles to get him from the countryside after he'd gone to an impromptu gay party in the middle of nowhere. Lloyd had a suspicion that James would be slightly worse than his mother, though... as he sat in the foyer of the hotel, avoiding the sideways looks of the hotel staff, Lloyd shrank into himself and played a game on his phone to pass the time. It'd be a whole lot better if his hair wasn't rumpled to fuck and a hickey wasn't blaring red on his neck.
