Who: Vinnie and Lelia

The past week or so had been kinda crazy for Vinnie, what with trying to figure out how to tell Zevira he just wanted to be friends and then the two bombs that were dropped onto Frankie. And one of those bombs had more of an affect on him than the other. That particular bomb was finding out that Kindle was Frankie's biological sister. That had freaked him out about as much as it did Frankie, but in a different way. He had been flirting with Kindle ever since she had arrived at TJS. And there had even been rumors going around about the two of them getting really close after the Halloween party, but he just couldn't seem to remember if anything had happened. He had to blame that on the combination of Captain Morgan and sambuca on a nearly empty stomach. Bad idea.

So when Vinnie realized that they had Monday off from classes, he was incredibly relieved. He needed the time to relax.. and maybe get some last minute homework assignments done. He already had an assignment for his music class that Professor Witt had posted, but that one he didn't mind. Anything that had to do with music was a piece of cake to him.

And speaking of cake, the growing boy suddenly found his stomach grumbling after he answered the music assignment. Closing his laptop, he grabbed his room keys and phone and headed off to the cafeteria to get some grub. Once there, he loaded his tray with a cheeseburger, fries, a soda and some cookies for dessert. Sitting down at the nearest table, he set his tray down and dug right in.

Shhhh! Don't spread it around but Lu was early to meet Kim for their girl's night! She was actually pretty nervous about it. Sure they had talked a little and they'd met in passing a few times, and not to mention Starbuck was crazy about the girl (and she generally trusted Starbuck's opinion of people) but she really wanted Kim to like her. It would things so much better here, which was saying something, because apart from the lack of surf (which was a major downside) she liked this place already. Part of that was having Starbuck there though, and so getting along well with his girlfriend was important. It shouldn't be hard. Kim seemed a little quiet, but she was nice enough, and Lu was generally not a hard person to get along with.

When 8 o'clock rolled around Lu was to be found waiting out front, dressed in a red dress, black heels and a black jacket to try and keep at least a little heat in. She was constantly fiddling and wondering if what she was wearing was ok. What was up with her? This was so not normal for her, worrying so much. She was so calm usually. Perhaps she could blame it on just trying to work out the new area. Yes, that worked. Whatever the reason she was completely oblivious to Kim's arrival.

It was safe to say Kindle hadn't had the best day herself after a revelation with Vinnie about the Halloween party. Then there was Jonah and all the things he was struggling with, and no matter what he said she was sure he was not fine about it, which, unusually for Kindle who didn't do worrying for others, meant she was worried about him. So the answer to all this was to drink, with someone not really involved. Ok, Wes was involved, seeing as who his brother was, but still, she thought he was a good candidate. Besides, it would be worth it to tease him about getting punched. 

As she walked over to his apartment she was smoking, the rest of the packet in her bag along with some alcohol. A smile sat on her lips as she thought about the texts, despite there only having been a few exchanged, and her body temperature was running just a little high of a normal person. That was probably a good thing to be fair seeing as she was only wearing a military style shirt dress and boots, and yes she had been wearing it all day, but admittedly there had been jeans involved during the day. Her excuse was that her room was too hot for jeans, and that was what she was sticking with. So there.

Soon enough she was knocking on his door, softly so as not to announce her presence to any other staff that might be around.
