[The video is short and to the point, but he thought he would alert anyone who might want to know.]

I've recently taken over the maintenance work of the stables. If anyone ever needs something in those regards, just let me know. My name is Zero.

[He pauses before deciding to add in something else- ]

You may have already seen him on the network today, but my son is here. His name is Ren, and looks very similar to me- [ah. maybe he should also mention the more elusive family member ~~who's much less sociable and polite~~] -as well as Ichiru, my twin who's also here. Although it's fairly easy to tell us apart.

shopping;
[As it is, the Kiryuu-Kuran residence - now with its fifth member - consumes a rather lot of food. Meaning, even though Zero stops by both the convenience store and Bull's Eye often enough, there's always a reason to go. Maybe even more so when they have Mika and Yuu over. He doesn't mind it, though; cooking for others is something he's come to like. He looks forward to doing so with both Ai and Ren.

. . .and speaking of the two, they're both with Yuuki at the moment. Of course he would've liked to join them, but he'll take on the task of preparing for the big dinner they'll be having tonight, as suggested by his son.

Feel free to find him among any of the aisles, his cart steadily filling up.]

shooting range;
[It's a bit after he dropped the groceries off at the apartment. No matter how frequent he comes here, he'll never like how the "ammunition" are made of foam, of all things. Granted, he's adapted fairly well to it. So much so that he hits the target more often than not. . . a major difference compared to how flawless he is with real bullets (or arrows, at any given time). Every now and again the trajectory ends up veering off. It's nothing new, but still irksome.

Maybe he could try and add more weight to them somehow. There has to be some kind of way, while still leaving them as harmless as they already are. Regardless, he'll continue.]

ice rink;
[Zero has only more recently come to the rink; within maybe the past week. For whatever the reason he hadn't thought much about it. Opposed to the other sports he engages in, this is more relaxing. He glides around easily. It's been years since he last was able to, yet it seems he's a regular at it, effortless.]

Yuuki;
[At some point he got a call from Yuuki, asking what he was up to. Seemingly Ai had abducted Ren for the rest of the afternoon. Zero continues to skate until she shows up. She's more than welcome to put a pair on to come join him, but it's up to her.]

So they ran off without you, huh?

[A familiar presence is also currently in the shop, a basket at his feet as he stares into the freezer at the frozen vegetables with a frown. Mika is very aware that he and Yuu have basically an open invitation to join Zero and Yuuki and the others for meals whenever but they don't go over all the time. Plus they're growing boys who have been without good and regular meals for years. He is certainly not going to pass up the opportunity for them to eat whenever they want considering everything here is free and there's good food.

His basket is entirely full and not just with junk food. If he were an ordinary boy, Mika would have a hard time lifting it but it's fine for him because he's not normal.

In fact there's a lot of canned goods and yeah, it basically looks like Mika is trying to get all kinds of things. When the sound of a cart coming down the aisle is heard, he looks up to see who it is and... almost nearly frowns more. He's still not completely over what happened the other day (maybe because it wasn't Zero he hit but Yuuki) but willing to give them one final chance to not screw this up.]

Do frozen vegetables stay good longer than canned ones?

[They only want to let the boys know that they're more than welcome. Zero knew Mika was also in the store before turning down the aisle. He's quietly glad that at least Mika is willing to interact with him. It's obviously different than with Yuu.]

They both do about the same, however the canned stuff is much saltier and can be mushy. At the same time, they obviously are good to have around in the case of a power outage.

[Yuuki's pancakes definitely looked bad but they tasted good and he hadn't really been hungry for sandwiches after the whole "vampire" talk so Mika had turned that down... not that sandwiches were a food that needed to be cooked. But honestly, anything Mika makes is not exactly winning any awards and he's limited by what he knows how to cook or what he can read on the back of a box. Clearly the vampires next door know how to make better food than he does.

He watches Zero as the other explains the difference in food and shrugs.] We've eaten worse. I'll stick with cans. Then they won't take up too much room in the freezer.

[Leans down to pick up his basket with one hand. Mika eyes Zero's cart.] You all sure eat a lot of food.

[He won't ask about what "worse" entails, given he can guess well enough. Which also isn't something that he personally has ever experienced. So he probably shouldn't comment on it to begin with.

He seems faintly amused with Mika's latter remark. Or maybe slightly embarrassed (no, not really).]

Eating is one of mine and Yuuki's favorite things. [. . .okay, maybe a little embarrassed. It sounds ridiculous.] Combined with Haruka, Ai, and now Ren, it calls for plenty of food.

[This is one of the many places that Yuuichiro has been wanting to visit. He'd been planning to come here with Mika, but the blond-haired boy is off doing his own thing for now. Well, nothing wrong with getting some practice in before dragging his friend here, right?

He hadn't expected to find Zero here, though seeing how easily he's able to skate? He's kind of glad. Maybe he can figure out how it's done from watching him -- though, honestly, he's making this whole thing look super easy. Maybe it won't be too difficult after all...?

After finally finding a pair of skates that fit him comfortably, he laces them up and awkwardly makes his way to the edge of the rink. Okay... it's just a matter of putting his foot on there an-...!!!]

Oww... [Well, he could have done much worse...

He managed to avoid hitting his head, at least.]

[It really is nice to see Yuu exploring more, with our without Mika (although the other boy could of course do with experiencing new things).

Zero doesn't pay much mind, initially, until Yuu has taken a spill. Predictably (sorry, Yuu). He makes his way over and crouches down to help him.]

Go easy. [He holds both hands out for Yuu to take.] Are you hurt anywhere. [He doesn't smell blood, at least.]

[She's not used to seeing Zero with free time enough to ice skate.

Or maybe just even ice skate in general. While she doesn't have any on, she leans over the rail as they talk, before... slumping forward.]

I've been rejected. Even though I wanted to spend more time with them. Suddenly I know how father feels. [It's the worst.] When did this happen? Ai-chan always used to cling to me!

[It's not exactly how she had intended to break the ice. He catches on a little too quickly, and notices the little details, doesn't he. Sitting beside him, she leans back , her arms behind her while she kicks her feet ideally.

Mm. When she was a child. She always follows me around like a little duckling, and does what she can to get my attention.

[It's super precious she has pictures. It's not as though she's ever neglected though.]

But she likes showing off for Zero, too.
