Twas the day after Newbie Day, when down by the beach in the dome--

Stockings and other decorations were hung alongside jack-o-lanterns, baskets full of colored eggs, boxes of heart-shaped candies, and other things. The only creature that seemed to be stirring in this early morning hour was Quinn Fabray, who took it upon herself to see to a good bulk of the set up. Tables and chairs were set up alongside a makeshift stage and dance floor, with bright orange extension chords stretched out across the sand to give life to the lights, music, and karaoke machine. Games, should anyone want to play them, were set up to the immediate right of the food tables.

Don't be late! The Holiday Mash-Up starts promptly at 5PM. Bring your dates, wear your gowns and costumes, and celebrate all those holidays from home.

- Fold a piece of paper in half. On one side, draw a representation of the part of you that is dangerous, violent, or evil. On the other side, draw a representation of the part of you that is kind, nurturing, and good. Share the result. Explain why you drew what you did and how you feel about each aspect of yourself.
- Silhouette Collage - Make a silhouette of yourself and fill your head with whatever is going on in your brain. What do you think about? What do you like? Dreams. Fears. Hopes.

Exercise
- Write your own eulogy. What would you want to read at your funeral if you were to die tomorrow?
- Write a eulogy for someone who has died/could have died as a result of your actions.

Discussion
- Discuss this paraphrased quote from Elie Wiesel: "Violence is a form of communication for a person who fails to find words." What are you trying to communicate?
- What are your views of death and the afterlife? What happens to us after we die?
- Do you have any regrets? Things you would take back, do again differently...

[ It's been a long and exciting day. So much food and drink and people and excitement and as the day comes to a close, so does the highlight of the evening. A secret thing, something they've been working on for a couple of days all hushhush.

Putting on a video feed, Chuck addresses the network. Kitty, Jack and Ton can be seen in the background and for once Ton isn't dressed in eyebleedy neon. There's some excitement in the air, some secretive smirks. Something is definitely happening and maybe most of the dome is already here, but if there are stragglers out there she's not going to miss telling them about what's going on. ]

If I can have your attention for a moment... you've all been invited here to the reopening of the Daffodil Dive and as thrilled as I am that you came here, there's something I have to confess. I've been lying to you, a little bit. This isn't the reopening of the Dive.

This is actually a wedding.

The warden said it would be crowded here today, and I suppose that could mean a lot of things, but I was hoping... [Is hoping for friends and family from home and who haven't been in the dome for awhile too much to hope? They might have meant the raptors were released again for all she knows right now.]

[ Chuck hadn't anticipated all these people showing up on the day of the grand re-opening, but there's food and drink a-plenty and what's a few more guests, really?

The Daffodil Dive, once known as the infamous Devil's Compass, has seen a deep scrub and a fresh coat of paint, warm and inviting in yellow and orange, with the occasional friendly skull painted on the walls and bar. There's flowers and fragrant herbs in pots and vases, adorning the tables or filling up dark corners. Lit candles illuminate the room, with plenty of food laid out a couple of the tables — pies (savoury and sweet) and cupcakes, fresh fruit and vegetables, little hors d'oeuvres, more elaborate dishes courtesy of Piper and Sizzle and Sear. The bar will be open, champagne glasses already filled with bubblies both alcoholic and non.

[This is so freakin' awkward for so many reasons. Kanji barely knows Nathan and plus there's all the awkwardness from yesterday. Moatly he's spent today wishing a hole would open up in the floor and swallow him but he's gotta be a man about this, dammit! He needs to clear the air and make sure Nathan knows nothing is up with him and Euphie.]

[Want to interact with Kanji today? If you do you'll need to find him since he's going to be hiding in his apartment all day. He won't admit it to Euphie but he's pretty not cool with having the Wardens manipulate who and what he likes the way they did yesterday. It makes him feel messed up and uncomfortable and weird and like there probably is something wrong with him after all if they had to work so hard to change him and make him normal. He's not usually one to talk about his feelings but today you might actually be able to get him to.]

[On today's episode of "adventures in being a zombie" Liv is attempting to order brain from the Vampire Blood Shack without anyone noticing that going down. Watch as the extremely pale girl attempts to be chill and subtle as she checks out the bar and waits for it to miraculously empty so she can work on this craving thing before it's a problem.]

[Saved the hardest for last.] Most relationships start off with dinner and a movie. We didn't even exchange names. [But she knew it. Everyone was right. This place does get stranger.]

[It takes a few minutes after waking to determine whether her most recent memories are from an especially vivid dream or something that really happened. It didn't seem like it should be real, but it certainly felt that way.]

[She feels like she's in a little bit of a daze after yesterday, but there are still things she should take care of for the school and their refrigerator and cupboards could use a little extra food, so she's out to work on errands. Part of her wants to look away when she sees other people, feeling somewhat embarrassed, but she also worries others feel the way she does and might need someone to talk to. She also can't help but feel something of a loss too. Yesterday, she had so much family and she was declaring her love and everything felt...like more than she probably deserved.]

[It is a lovely morning - as most mornings are. Carol goes for her morning walk, and returns home with a bouquet of flowers and more the usual amount of groceries, and starts whipping up breakfast.]

So... I don't actually know you Ianto... but I was... I guess... sort of wondering how... ... what coming back was like. And... I'm not entirely sure what I'm asking. I just... didn't expect this to happen.

[Turning on an unfamiliar device and speaking to an audience of unknowns was not number one on Liv's new arrival to do list. It did, however, manage to make the top ten, because even after having her crimes played for her and her situation explained, she needed to talk to someone—anyone—about what she heard. And maybe she's not alone here? Ravi? Major? Peyton? It's probably too much to hope this is where they disappeared to, right? Not that she wants them to be in prison, but as long as she's having some kind of psychotic break or wild dream she might as well see some familiar faces?]

Hi. [Good lead in, but now what?] I'm Liv. Olivia. Well, Liv. It doesn't matter. The point is that I'm here wherever here is.

I'm just a harmless [Trying too hard?] assistant medical examiner, so I don't really know why I'm here. [She was extremely not amused to see cannibalism and necrophilia on her list of crimes. He was a zombie, not a corpse. There are some pretty big differences. Zombies can lie about being dead. And that's what she's going to be doing for as long as she can. Which might not be very long at all if she doesn't find a way to get brains.]

So, is there a morgue? [Of course she just want to know for work-related reasons. Sure...] Just asking. I don't really know anything but what they said in that welcome message, so fill a girl in?

It doesn't look like things are slowing down, so I think we should take precautions and start moving people and supplies up to the floating island. It might be overkill, but I'd rather be safe than soaked. We'll get you back down or into the upper levels of the apartments if it stops.

But for now everyone get to the Defense Force headquarters. We'll gather on the roof there to head up to the island. Bring food, ponchos, whatever you might need.

I need everyone who can get to the island with flight, phasing, leaps of strength, teleporting, whatever to start ferrying people and supplies up there. I'm not just talking to the force either. [That's right, you've been enlisted.]

There's also no shelter up there and since it's obviously raining I want someone putting together a list of what we need to make a water-proof shelter up there fast. Speaking of fast, Wally consider yourself on assembly duty. While we're at it, let's make some rafts just in case. Gather up what you can find in the stores. I've never wanted to go kayaking, but that doesn't mean it's not available.
