Might as well participate, since I'm stuck inside for another day or so. First one to guess the word I'm thinking of gets a favor, like the rules say.

[ Dean gives a smoldering look to the camera and quietly tips his hat up with a forefinger. ] So tell me partner, where can a man get a drink around here?

[A little bit later in the day, after this particular conversation. Jane comes over the screen, cheerful disposition. A lot better than the last time.]

So I've been informed that I am allowed to teach a class. On days ending on zero and five, I am happy to announce that I am going to be teaching a cooking course. On days ending in zero I will teach how to make things like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On days ending in five, I will be teaching pastries and cakes, and possibly other things.

Tomorrow is a day ending in five, so please feel free to join me at eleven in the morning and bring your sweet tooth with you to the Educational Facility, in the first Kitchen Lab.

Apparently the punishments around here aren't all finger paintings and entertaining all-access reality TV. I'm being commanded by Forrester and Erhardt to pay penance for their idiotic system being without proper failsafes for a cascading power surge.

So this is the part where I offer several million dollars of tech support to the dome at large because that's the best use they can figure for an engineering prodigy. If you have any projects that need doing -- [ugh could this be more fucking stupid]. Just try not to entirely waste my time.

This is the subterranean version of being shanked, for the record. And if anyone asks me to fix a toaster I'm rigging it to launch your Pop-Tart directly at your face at Mach 3.

[ this morning finds one (1) sookie stackhouse out in quatro park, and putting on quite the light display. there's a hat tossed off to the side, hanging off the extended hand of a nearby statue. it's a straw hat with a wide brim; the kind her gran used to wear while tending to the yard.

it wasn't just the hat that's set her off. it's seeing rené's ghost and being confronted with the fact that had she been more in tune with her budding abilities, she might've been able to pick up on something (or do something) before he'd killed her gran and all those people. she'd seen the faeries in the otherworld do remarkable things with their powers, and russell had indicated that she wasn't doing half the things she ought to be able to do as someone who was fae. ]

Oh, come on, don't do this. [ her light out again, she flexes her fingers and shakes her hands, as if that will flip the metaphorical switch to turn it back on again. ] Fuck.

Oh good. I've been here for a day and already there's some shenanigans.

[He's wearing a brown leather jacket zipped up and a centurion helm. His ears stick out under the helmet, somewhat pinned due to the weight of it but it looks oddly fitting on him.]

We've got ourselves some new digs. Still in sector two and not too far from the educational center, but free standing. It's one of those many empty building set up around the place. It looks like it was designed to be something retail, but I figure we can make it work. I've already found some dividers. Talk to me if you have experience building actual walls or magic wall-generating abilities.

Team leaders, I've got an idea of where I think things need to go, but I want your input.

Rebecca, you're in charge of getting dispatch relocated.

Zatanna, I want you to put in some security measures like we talked about before.

We've also been losing people to the dimensional stabilizer, so Derek is temporarily also a sector team leader. [Sorry, Peter.] He's already got a position though, so if there is anyone else looking to step up, let me know. Also, Faith will be taking over her sector. Teams are a little unbalanced right now, but instead of moving people to new assignments, let's just make it a thing that the largest teams check in with the smallest ones to help cover the sectors. When we get new people or returning people back they'll fill up again.

[It isn't her first time teaching, so she's pretty comfortable at the front of the room going through her notes. The hardest part was deciding what to talk about publicly and what not to mention. The force has always been something of a topic for debate. Those present might notice she's wearing her large, metal wrist gauntlets again thanks to Zelgadis. It covers up the blue band at her wrist and they have claws inside! But if all the boys and girls are good they probably won't get popped during class.]
